Kanika Kapoor who had a fruitful 2016, recently took time
off to unwind on an extended holiday in Thailand and Barcelona.
From recording hit songs, doing live shows across the
world and being seated on the front row of every luxury fashion brand show at
the Milan Fashion Week ,Kanika had a completely choc-o-bloc schedule .Before
diving into her professional commitments back home, the singer and fashion icon
toured Barcelona where she also dined with Latin-American pop artiste Shakira
as well as Argentine footballer Lionel Messi and his partner, Antonella
Roccuzzo.
When contacted Kanika confirmed the news and said, “I met
Shakira at a common friend’s house in Barcelona. She was very warm and
friendly. We chilled over dinner. Apart from discussing our babies, we also
talked about Indian music. I told her I sing for Bollywood films, and she said
she loves the sitar”.
