THE 4 TIMES NATIONAL AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR VETRIMAARAN TO MAKE A FILM BASED ON THE BOOK ‘SHOES OF THE DEAD’ OF NEELIMA KOTA

The 4 times National award winning Director Vetrimaaran who got much appreciation for his film Visaranai based on police brutality, corruption, and loss of innocence is now making a feature film based on the book ‘Shoes of the dead’ written by Neelima Kota. The director has taken the rights of the Book and will soon start working on it. The film is based on the farmer suicides.

In an art exhibition held in Delhi by Kota Neelima where the remains of Ayodhya were on display was attended by the Director Vetrimaaran. He said “With this film, hopefully the unheard stories and voices of the helpless farmers will be heard”
