Skycandle Co- Founder and CEO, Miss Aditee Joshi was awarded “Nari Shakti Award
2017” for her continuous
efforts in the field of Ecommerce, on the eve of International Women’s Day. The
award was given under the category of Online Business by Honourable National Vice President of BJP,
Mr. Shyam Jaju at LTG Auditorium in New Delhi.
The
event was organised by Shri Geeta Jayanti Samaroh Jayanti Samiti. The event was
remarked with the presence of East Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor - Satya
Sharma who encouraged people to support women in their decisions. This event
effectively marked the recognition of many strong women in different areas of
the society.
It
very actively covered and appreciated efforts by women in the field of Women
Empowerment, International Sports, Business, Law and Music. The event was
successfully completed with the release of a souvenir named “ Aadhi Duniya”
which has a compilation of all the women prominently known for their efforts
for the betterment and development of the society.
It
was a moment of glory for SkyCandle to be a part of the event. Skycandle, a
Home Utility & Decor website is in existence since last 2.5 years and has achieved
tremendous growth when it comes to Indian Startups. Co- Founded by Gaurav Garg
who is also the Managing Director in Skycandle. Both the Co- Founders are young
and dynamic entrepreneurs depicting the Millennials era.
