Freddy Daruwala to star against Ravi Teja in a Telugu film

With his six foot tall frame, chiseled body, defined features and imposing personality, Freddy Daruwala made a stellar debut as the lead antagonist in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.
The very talented Freddy was nothing less than a revelation for Bollywood and a bundle of talent discovered by director-producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
Riding high on the success of Force 2 and Commando 2, the handsome actor is all set to portray the role of an antagonist in his upcoming Telugu film alongside Ravi Teja, directed by Vikram Siri.
“Director Vikram Siri saw my debut film, Holiday and felt that I would be perfect for this role. When he narrated the character, I just loved it,” says the actor, who is riding high on the success of his last two films, Force 2 and Commando 2.
“I play this extremely corrupt guy who ensures that nothing positive can come out of any situation. A total crook no doubt, but there is certain panache to this guy. There is a lot of scope for acting with this character, as is the case with a lot of negative roles in South Indian potboilers,“ Freddy adds, “Ravi Teja plays a cop who is out to get me. Sparks will fly when the two of us will come together on screen.”
A self-confessed “South Indian movie buff,“ Freddy says, “I catch the Hindi dubbed versions of all Telugu films. I have seen movies of Ravi Teja, Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.”
