Angad comes to the rescue for Inside Edge

Cricket in India is not just a game but it’s look upon as a religion. And in case of a cricketer or for someone who belongs to a family of the sport it’s something near to impossible that he cannot keep himself away from cricket irrespective to whatever profession he belongs. We are talking about actor Angad Bedi, even though he is an actor but still his love for the sport is endless. Angad belongs to a cricketing family and son of renowned former cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi. Soon Angad will be seen in Inside Edge Amazon Prime’s first ever original Indian series where he is playing the character of captain for cricket team. The series is based on the format of a cricketing league. The series has lot of elaborate cricket moments captured on cameras and while shooting these scenes it was very important for the camera crew to capture the right moments just like it’s done in real cricket matches. Angad who is also a former cricketer and follows cricket religiously came to the rescue of the camera unit and helped them to place the cameras at the right spots to capture the correct shot to make the scenes to look authentic. He even helped set up the field and the right nuances of the sport for the show. Not just that, he even helped his cast members to understand the game, the language and even helped them with their body language and the correct moves. When asked Angad about it, he said, “Yes my cricket background helped, when you follow a sport from childhood you know the technicalities of the sport. Luckily for me I understand batting stance, field positioning, shots which can be played and what shot can look good on whom. Karan was also very good in collaborating and sharing thoughts and was very open to suggestions.”
