Tiger Zinda Hai : 5 countries, 1 massive action entertainer

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has shot in five different countries across the world to capture a gripping, explosive and entertaining story. An espionage drama, the film’s protagonists - Tiger and Zoya - travel to five different countries, fighting against the odds to fulfill their life-threatening mission. A dramatic journey of 2 intelligence agents, the film is huge in scale and the director Ali Abbas Zafar wanted the expanse of the movie to come out through Tiger’s adventures across Austria, Greece, Morocco, Abu Dhabi and India.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar explains, “To meet the scale of the film, we had to travel to four different countries for different reasons. Certain landscapes needed to become a part of the film, so we had to go to Austria to get the snow-covered mountains. We also had to go to Morocco to feature crucial fight sequences of horseback riding. The country’s landscape and topography brings a certain texture to these sequences. It also has horses trained for some fight sequences, as many Hollywood films like Troy, and Mummy Returns. Greece was absolutely picturesque and was
the perfect location to shoot the celebratory anthem ‘Swag Se Karenge Sabka Swagat’.  Abu Dhabi gave us desert terrain. We got great support from the Abu Dhabi government be it locations, production, army and air-force requirement. They helped us create larger than life action drama sequences. We also shot a couple of scenes in North and South block, Delhi. Overall, each location has huge significance and is part of turning points in the film’s script.”

Keeping in mind its aim to deliver the biggest action adventure of 2017 that are at par with international standards, YRF’s Tiger Zinda Hai team engaged with film crews that have handled major Hollywood films in each foreign location. So expect some jaw-dropping fights and thrills in this Salman Khan starrer. Tiger Zinda Hai will hit theatres on December 22.

Arjun Kapoor plays a Haryanvi cop in YRF’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar

Known for pushing the envelope with his content cinema, Dibakar Banerjee is presenting Arjun Kapoor in an all new avatar. In the first glimpse of his character from Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Arjun has a huge look change. He sports a buzz cut typical of police recruits and looks every bit the heart-land policeman in this photo. In the film, he plays a 30-year-old police constable from Haryana.
Arjun has spent extensive amounts of time prepping for this role under the supervision of his Director Dibakar Banerjee. He interacted with police recruits across all ranks in both the Delhi Police and Haryana police and also visited a training academy to witness all that goes into the making of a heartland cop.
"Playing a cop is traditionally considered cool in Hindi films. But in a Dibakar Banerjee film, a cop is presented as realistic and yet, unique as a person. Its that dichotomy of blending yet and still standing out that makes this role all the more exciting. Dibakar is very specific about the look of his characters. We worked on it for a long time before he decided that this is the look he wants. From my moustache, to my hair cut, to the freckles on my face to make my character look like a cop and yet blend with his environment reflects just how Dibakar has imagined him and his world to be. It will be a gritty entertainer and I’m looking forward to the first day of shoot." said Arjun.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar co-stars Parineeti Chopra. The film is set to release on August 3, 2018 and marks the hit Ishaqzaade jodi of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra to re-create magic together on-screen.

Indian Princess shuns Salman Khan's Bigg Boss?

While Bigg Boss 11 housemates go through all their weird machinations, romances, bromances and confrontations, here's another bit of surprising spice that just came in.
Bollywood PR Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the publicity for a whole 20 controversial contestants who have been on the show earlier, has speculated that a Princess let go of the show this year. -_-
"I have a feeling BB could not stop a Princess from Jaipur from giving a pass to the show this year. #ColdFeet #LastMinute," he tweeted.
The publicist ain't telling more for now and we wonder who this Indian Princess could be. Moreover, why she would have missed a chance to interact with none other than megastar Salman Khan on India's numero uno reality show! :-o

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss is said to be fighting hard to improve its TRP score this year too. When we asked Dale about it, he said, "Bigg Boss could learn a trick or two from Grand Boss Arnab Goswami. While BB showcases flaring emotions with senseless fights by the contestants, Arnab awakens sentiments with fights about ethics." Wow! What an analogy. Think about it.

TV frat get spooky this Halloween

Halloween is around the corner and our favourite telly actors talk about their plans for the festival
Rishikesh Ingley: Halloween parties are fun. We usually go out for clubbing during Halloween, as it's more fun with more people. I like to wear anything that makes me look gross. We love hosting parties at home but I am shooting this time, so will go clubbing after the shoot.
Sara Arfeen Khan: I love Halloween! Most of the Halloweens, I have been in London and we have celebrated like crazy. In India, we do a costume party on Halloween with a horror movie and candles, to set the mood.
Sourabh Raaj Jain:  I have never been to a Halloween party but it seems very interesting. If I attend one of these, I would like to dress up like the Joker, played by Heath Ledger in Dark Knight.
Ssharad Malhotraa: My favourite costume is that of a Dracula. The first ever Halloween party I attended was with Heidi Klum. Her best ever costume was in 2015 when she was literally modified into a cartoon character Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Saurabh Pandey: I do not know why Halloween is celebrated. I have never been to a Halloween party before. I know it's big abroad, especially America and Canada. We already have so many festivals in India. Now if we add more, every day will be a festive day. If I am able to understand the significance of Halloween, I might have a party.

Ankit Bathla: I love Halloween parties, it’s the only day in the year where I am not afraid of ghosts. I went to a Halloween party in Jakarta and it was super fun. I always experiment with the costume. I didn’t have much time this time, so I dressed up as a vampire, but this vampire sucked only the evil in the blood!

I am enjoying being part of Shankar Jai Kishan 3 in 1: Himmanshoo Malhotra

Actor Himmanshoo Malhotra, who is part of Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Shankar Jai Kishan 3 in 1, says that he has got an overwhelming response from his fans. He says a huge reason behind this is that he is happy with the atmosphere on the set. “The response that I’m getting for the show is very nice, everyone is enjoying it. In fact, my mom  has really liked it. This is the first time that I’m doing a comedy and it’s wonderful because the atmosphere on the set is very happy. We have happy people, and a happy unit it is truly entertaining.  I’m enjoying the character because to do comedy, you have to be completely be in the fun zone, you can’t be serious and intense while doing comedy,’ he says.
The actor adds,  “This show has really helped me to grow as an artist and I am totally enjoying my role. This is all thanks to my director Rajesh Babbar. He’s been really pushing me to grow beyond my boundaries as an artist, Also the fact that the character’ is really stylish also makes a huge difference because visually they are presenting me very well,. He’s a charmer and a fascinating guy, so yes I’m getting all the girls’ attention as well.”
Ask him which is the best compliment that he has got for the show, and he says, “I think from the moment the promo came out, everyone’s been showering me with applause and accolades all the way. I have been told that I have been looking fabulous and attractive. It has been pouring in from every nook and corner and I couldn’t be happier.”
The actor is also happy to have got the chance to work with Rahul Kumar Tewary and Siddharth Kumar Tewary. “Without a doubt, they are wonderful producers. It is a great production house and I am completely enjoying working with them. They roll the shoot in time and pack up in time. They understand your issues  and we understand their problems. The production is good and everyone is working in sync to make the show better,” he says.

Working with his co-actor Kettan Singh is also great, says Himmanshoo, “It is fantastic because he is really good in comedy and he keeps everyone entertained on the set. He keeps mimicking others and keeps extracting some wonderful voices of different artists. Also, the fact that he is not insecure is why we all gel really well. All the three lead female artists and of course Kettan, we eat lunch and evening snacks together. Even though I have to kick his ass all the time in the show but he definitely doesn’t mind it personally, which is so nice and refreshing. We are collaborating to create new drama, new conflicts and to make sure that the show does well,” he says.

My eyes appeal to the most to people: Laksh Lalwani

Actor Laksh Lalwani, who is playing the title role in Rahul Kumar Tewary and Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s show Porus, says that he feels lucky to have got an opportunity to essay such a strong character. “I feel thankful to the universe that I have got this show, It's a big responsibility and I hope to play this role well. Swastik Production (Rahul Kumar Tewary and Siddharth Kumar Tewary) is known for creating the best shows and I am so happy that I get to be part of this one,” he says.
The actor has worked hard on his physique for the show. Talking abut it, he says, “I have changed my diet, workout regime and lifestyle. Now, my regime is divided into two parts. The first one is all about lifting and building up strength. The second one is all about martial arts and wrestling. It also involving circuit and core workouts. As far as my died is concerned, I prefer keeping my carbs level lower than the rest,” he says.
While he has been getting a lot of compliments, sexy is a common one. Talking about this adulation and the compliments that he has been getting, he says, “Honestly, I am flattered. I take it as a compliment. I live a normal life just like any young person. The best compliments that I have got so far are ‘your eyes make my heart melt’ and another was ‘you are hot like volcano’” Ask him what he feels is the most sexy thing about him and he says, “I guess my eyes appeal the most.”
Being good looking is great, says Laksh, adding that an actor needs to be much more than that. “I don't think that good looks are that important because if your acting skills are great, looks really don't matter. If you have good looks, it can be an advantage but first thing which is important is your acting capability,” he says.
As far as acting and looks go, Laksh has a favourite. “I like Hrithik Roshan. He is a complete package. He is an allrounder, who is an achiever all the way,” he says, adding, “Deepika Padukone is also great. She has the aura that can melt any heart. Her choice of films is also very good be it Bajirao Mastani, Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani, Tamasha or any other film.”
His fans have been a big part of his success, says Laksh. “My fans have always been there for me. I remember twice when they went out of their way to make me feel special. When I was shooting in America, a fan flew down from another state to see me and when there was a crowd seeing me shoot in Austria when I thought nobody would recognize me,” he adds.

Although for the world, he is perfect, there are some things that Lakshi wants to change in him. “I want to stop criticizing myself, so I would want to stop treating myself hard and go easy with life. I want to become a bit social because I never attend parties and I am not that active on social media also,” he says.

Silk Mark is managed by the Silk Mark Organization of India, a Society under Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and headquartered in Bangalore, the hub of silk activity in the country. It has over 3000 Authorized Users (AUs) across the country and the scheme is being introduced to many new areas in a phased manner. Silk manufacturers and dealers of repute qualifying certain set criteria can become an Authorized User (AU) of Silk Mark.
About Silk

India has a rich heritage in silk weaving, dyeing, printing, embroidery, and craftsmanship supported by a strong domestic market. India is the largest consumer of silk and the second largest producer of silk in the world. Not able to meet the domestic demand by the country’s own silk production of 28,523 metric tons ( Figure 2015-16), India imports silk from China . With the declining Chinese production, India is poised for a quantum jump in silk production and is set to become a key player in the international market. All these are possible only when we protect and uphold the purity and sanctity of silk from the onslaught from unethical trade practices  and hence it is advised to insist on Silk Mark label while buying Silk.

TRIBUNAL (FCAT ) REPUDIATES CBFC ON GAME OF AYODHYA

Poster & Trailer Unveiling of the film "Game Of Ayodhya" after a turbulence with censor board , emerged winner and got Tribunal Clearance, CBFC directed to issue a u/a certificate to the film.
The Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) has directed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to grant a U/A certificate to the film "Game of Ayodhya", which was denied a certificate for its plot based on the love story of a press reporter in the backdrop of Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya in 1994.
The event saw the presence of Arun Bakshi, Sunil Singh, Bhushan Agarwal, Yogesh Lakhani, Abhay Bhargav, Savita Bajaj. The makers in their appeal had asserted that the theme of the film focuses on the sins he committed as a young reporter; actions that led to riots between Hindus and Muslims. The tribunal also directed CBFC to issue a U/A certificate to the film.
The film, which was denied a certificate by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on grounds that the subject of the temple-mosque dispute was provocative, had defamed individuals, and had the potential to stoke communal passions, was set aside by the FCAT bench on grounds that the film dealt with a subject central to many films already.
In its September 26 order, FCAT ruled in favour of a certificate being granted to 'Games of Ayodhya' after it observed that CBFC had rejected the film summarily, and without suggesting any cuts or changes to film's director, Sunil Singh. The director also alleged that CBFC has incorrectly claimed that the content of the film could stoke communal tensions. The CBFC, while it was asked to submit its opinion and appear before the tribunal, chose only to send its written reply to the tribunal. In the film, Singh, who also acts in the film, plays a middle aged journalist who narrates the story of his love affair, when he was 27, with a Muslim girl in Ayodhya, in the backdrop of the Babri Masjid demoliton.
In its final order, the FCAT said, "The film is an attempt by the producer to present different perspectives. Producer has attempted by resorting to a flashback and a discussion representing clergy, research scholars, librarians and others knowledgeable about the history of Masjid Mandir dispute to represent various facets which may not be fully known based on their research and study."
However, under the able patron ship of Sunil Singh, Director of the film, it can be best described as a wonderful blend of offbeat and mainstream cinema which is full of charm, elegance and vivacity. The makers want to tell an old-fashioned story of love, separation and reunion with flourishes and flashes of great cinema igniting what would in lesser hands, appear to be a trite tale of love gone frightfully cliched & shows the reunion of a Muslim girl & a Hindu boy, which means that the makers are trying to bring unity between Hindu & Muslim to bring communal harmony The film is not manufactured or created or any fiction. It is the true events & facts .
Bhushan Agarwal, Executive Producer says “We cannot lose sight that there is a thin line between creative and artistic expression being depicted in a scene. It is not pro-government film, it's a love story. The film is based on the true fact & events & as per the official stock shot officially procured from film division Mumbai. And the film is totally based as per the Report Of The Liberhan Ayodhya Commission Of Inquiry. Game Of Ayodhya  takes a look at the turmoil that our country faced after Babri masjid was demolished and one man’s heroic attempt to stand up to the violence that followed"

More than his films, I love him for the person he is and for  all the things he says. I have been saying this in all the interviews that I have given over the years that he really is the number one reason that I believed in myself as an actor.  Thanks to my role in Wo Apna Sa, a of people called me lady SRK because of the negative streak in my character. I think that's the best compliment that I have received in my entire life..even if people have said it lightly, I don't care. I  take it as huge compliment. I want to wish him a very happy birthday and I am so grateful to his parents that they have given birth to someone who is so talented and has been entertaining us since so much time.
Hrishikesh  Pandey : I want to wish him a very happy birthday and all the best for the future. I was fortunate enough to work with him. We have spend time together and he is a lovely person. He is amazing to talk to  and is very humble. Of all the movies that I have seen, I like DDLJ. I have seen the film a couple of times. He is known for his romance and I think he is superb at it. Out of his other movies, I like Devdas. The best thing about him is that he is self made. He knows what he is doing and has a great marketing sense.

Mrunal Jain:   I like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. It was a very subtle and mature performance. SRK made it really big in life and career and is a success story. I wish him long innings in Bollywood. His fan following is amazing.
