On the eve of Shiv Sena Foundation Day, 52 years after the party was founded by Sena Supremo Balasaheb Thackeray,  MP Sanjay Raut, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, Founder and Chairman - Carnival Group, spent quality time on the sets of Raut'ers Entertainment's megamovie Thackeray where they discussed movies, marquee and more. While Nawaz admitted he still gets "sleepless nights on the eve of shooting for Thackeray," Raut admitted that while director Abhijit Panse was scouting for the right actor, he always had Nawazuddin's face in his mind. “I knew Nawaz bhai was the right one. And the moment I set my eyes on him when he walked into our meeting roomhe was locked in my head."

Nawaz moved dates, schedules to be part of Thackeray. Admits the actor, "Balasaheb Thackeray was a transparent personality who empowered the common man and it is a lifetime experience essaying him."

Says Dr.Shrikant Bhasi, Founder and Chairman - Carnival Group, “Balasaheb Thackeray is the Tiger who took the nation by storm, a persona who no one can ever match. We are glad to be associated with Thackeray the film that boasts of the penmanship of Sanjay Raut and the histrionics of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The teaser took the nation by storm and the film is one of the most awaited films of 2019."

Sanjay Raut has the last word, "Balasaheb made the common man into super man. If there is ever a personality whose biography should be made after Mahatma Gandhi, it is Balasaheb Thackeray!”
