Shweta Tripathi and Amyra Dastur look like they
are having a ball of a time with Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi on the sets of The
Trip 2. The girls have been uploading some hilarious,
adorable and colourful social media updates from Pondicherry where they have
been currently shooting. Amyra who has recently joined the cast has been
posting about her diving lessons as well.
Amyra Dastur who was roped in for season 2
of the much-loved web series has been gearing up for it since before they began
shooting. She mentioned that her character is that of a quirky and loveable
girl who also happens to be Nazia’s (Mallika Dua) younger cousin and we cannot
wait to see how their bond looks on screen. But as her character enters at a
grand Indian wedding, Amyra’s character Ira has had to play the part by
dressing up, wearing a heavy lehenga and putting henna on her hands for the
role. Shweta Tripathi who recently got married in Goa to the love of her life,
Chaitanya aka Slow Cheeta, had a few tips for the mehendi artists and make up
artists during the shoot. She asked the artists to put in little images and
clues about Amyra’s adorably quirky character and added a few cute additions to
the henna. While discussing the mehendi ideas she helped Amyra eat and drink
since the starlet was unable to use her own hands. Shweta also gave her tips
and tricks on how to make the mehendi last long as she had used those tricks
herself less than a month ago.
First of all, it is adorable how involved all
these girls are in the show, secondly, we are loving this dosti between them
and cannot wait to see the show now.
It sure does look like one hell of a trip!
