Shamita Shetty is all set to surprise the audience
with her next offering, a short film based on dance.
The actress, who is also known for her swift
moves, is set to put her dancing shoes on for the short film. From tantalizing
hits like Sharara Sharara to her alluring performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,
she has always stunned viewers with her effortless and graceful dance moves.
Based on the journey and struggle of a dancer, the
short film has got Shamita excited to take on the challenging role, something
she hasn’t played before.
A source informs, “Prepping for the same, Shamita
will be learning different kinds of street dance forms for her role. She has
already started rehearsing for the same.”
Shamita informs, “I love dancing and it indeed
fuels my passion as a creative individual. I loved the script and it would be
quite exciting for me as it involves dancing.”
Besides the movie, Shamita will also feature in an
international movie, The Tenant wherein she plays the lead role of Meera, an
alluring cosmopolitan woman whose arrival in a middle-class housing society
causes a stir. She will also be seen in the new season of the adventure reality
show, Khatron Ke Khiladi.
