Chaav Laaga brings out Anushka-Varun’s heart-warming love story Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan’s first time pairing in the much awaited Sui Dhaaga – Made in India has become quite a talking point. They play innocent village folk Mauji and Mamta living in heartland India dreaming to make a name for themselves. While Anushka plays an embroiderer, Varun plays the role of a tailor from heartland India. Their fresh chemistry has been hailed widely and in the first song from the movie titled Chaav Laaga, audiences will witness Mauji and Mamta’s heart-warming, innocent love story. The song captures the emotional and uplifting journey of Mamta and Mauji, who from being life partners become business partners chasing their aspirations and ambitions. Anushka says, “Chaav Laaga is one of the most melodious and soulful tracks that I have heard in the recent times. It beautifully brings out the journey of Mamta and Mauji’s love story and how they fall in love with each other by learning to respect each other’s talents and abilities. It is a song that celebrates the purity and strength of love.” Varun adds, “It is one of my most favourite romantic tracks. It is soulful, incredibly romantic yet extremely simple. I love Chaav Laaga for its innocence. It shows real romance between very real people. Mauji and Mamta find the courage to dream, to aspire and to chase their goals by trusting each other. The song celebrates this trust, this unconditional love.” Chaav Laaga is an earthy, melodious and poetic track. The song is a simple ode to finding love and understanding in one’s life partner within life’s constraints and obstacles. It celebrates the uplifting power of love that helps a partner to dream big and to look at all problems in the eye. As circumstances compel the young Mauji and his wife Mamta to be together and yet, be apart; this song focuses on their deeply felt love that grows with time. It’s love after marriage that blooms and grows slowly to last forever. Papon Mahanta and Ronkini Gupta have sung this soulful romantic track. Anu Malik, who composed the beautiful Moh Moh ke Dhaage in Sharat Katariya’s previous film Dum Laga Ke Haisha has collaborated again for this song. A film about finding love and respect through self-reliance, Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is a heart-warming story that celebrates the spirit of self-reliance. The film’s plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the hugely acclaimed Make In India campaign. The National Award-winning, dream-team of director Sharat Katariya and producer Maneesh Sharma have come together again for this Yash Raj Films’ entertainer that is set to release on September 28 this year.

Yami rocks the urban grunge look like a boss

Yami Gautam, who has been shooting for Aditya Dhar’s action packed drama, Uri, starring Vicky Kaushal, recently hosted a party for Lakme Fashion Week 2018 at a 7 star hotel in South Bombay. The theme for the same was urban streetwear and Yami, who was been dabbling with this style with various other outfits, absolutely slayed this one.

Bringing back denim-on-denim with a modern spin, the Kaabil actress wore a denim skirt with a black crop top and a baggy denim jacket as a throw on, looking like a total knockout with her short hair sleeked back and donning large hoop earrings.

Check out the snazzy look below:

Bollywood celebrities are no exceptions coming across their fans in real and on various social platforms. Actress Yami Gautam who is currently begun promoting her latest film Batti Gul Meter Chalu has one such fan with whom she’s been in touch for years now. The fan by the name of Atul Sureka who hails from Kolkata was introduced to Yami through social media and met her when she was in Kolkata last year.

Atul is a corporate lawyer by profession and resides permanently in Kolkata. He has been Yami's fan since she started working in the entertainment business. Since then Atul has been following Yami on all social platforms, watched her each films multiple times. His fondness for Yami doesn't stops here, the young man even went to the extent of tattooing Yami's name on his left forearm. Normally people Tattoo the names of parents, friends, siblings, spouses, beloved showing solidarity into their relationship but a fan getting tattoo on them is quite a sweet gesture.

The first time Yami saw the Tattoo when Atul tagged her on Twitter. After learning about her biggest Fan she ensured to meet him once she travels to Kolkata. She met Atul for the first time in Kolkata in February 2017 while promoting Kaabil. She was amazed to see her biggest fan in front of him. Since then Yami ensures whenever she visits Kolkata her team reaches out to Atul informing him about Yami's visit to Kolkata so that he can meet Yami.

Late Rambo Rajkumar's daughters turn choreographers in Manmarziyaan

Taapsee Pannu is currently touring the country with her Manmarziyaan co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal to promote the brilliant album of the Anurag Kashyap helmed romantic drama.

Although several songs from the film have released and are already a raging hit across radio stations and with the fans, the entire album is yet to come out.

One of the songs, Kundali, which is a sangeet number, released recently much to the anticipation of the audience. Sticking to the Punjabi essence of the film, the song is a proper bhangra number, pictured on Taapsee.

But the credit for choreography goes to two southern artists. Sisters Navadevi and Navalakshmi, who are extremely popular down South and have worked with industry veterans like Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan, choreographed the Soorma actress, who is playing a Sikhni in the film.

This is the first time they're working in Bollywood and agreed to choreograph the song as they wanted to work with Taapsee and Anurag. Also, as two full fledged south Indians they choreographed a complete bhangra number, much to the awe of the cast and crew.

“I was pleasantly surprised when Anurag Kashyap told me he has gotten new girls from the south to choreograph the song. I almost didn’t believe him when he told me this first. I thought he was joking. Until one day I turned up at the rehearsal and realised he wasn’t. He wanted a new take on a sangeet number. Punjabi sangeet numbers are done to death in our films and he thought getting new choreographers who are not of the same background as the song and flavour of the film might just get in something refreshing which I feel it did. The song is beautiful and the peppy choreography these 2 girls added to it makes it fresh and exciting to watch. It’s the first time Anurag has a proper lip sync dancing number in his film so expect something unique for sure!”

Kundali’s audio came out on Friday, but we cannot wait for the video to release to see the magic the sisters have created!
