Sonu Sood to provide water purifiers in Punjab

Besides being a prolific actor, Sonu Sood is deeply connected to his roots and the people of his hometown, Moga, Punjab.
After providing free gym services in his hometown Moga, the large-hearted actor also distributed more than 50 cycles to his gym members so that they could travel to the gym daily on cycles promoting fitness. Now, it’s learnt that Sonu is planning to adopt, Bahona, a village in Punjab for its overall development.
A source informs, “Sonu is quite concerned about the development of Bahona and has been working on ideas to make the place a better place to live. While the place has witnessed a large number of water borne diseases caused by drinking contaminated or dirty water, the actor has decided to provide water purifiers to the families who cannot afford it.”
“Due to the shortage of safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation facilities, Sonu will be providing water purifiers to 100 families and he has already initiated the process,” the source adds.
Sonu says, “Pure drinking water is a basic necessity for every individual. To prevent water borne diseases in Bahona, we require pure water that is rich in essential minerals. The water purifier removes disease causing unhealthy impurities and enhances our immune system.”
