Tahira Kochar’s debut acting lessons with Arshad Warsi!!

This year Bollywood has seen debuts of a lot of budding talent and this talent has never failed to entertain the audiences with their fresh spunk. The recent addition to this list is young and talented Tahira Kochar.!
Miss India 2010 finalist Tahira Kocchar will soon be making her foray in Bollywood in Moti Sagar’s ‘Rabba Main Kya Karoon’?
Tahira will be seen portraying a role of an  innocent family girl, who is all set to get married to her Prince charming. Her role required a touch of simplicity, innocence and daintiness. Not coming from a filmy background, Tahira sure needed to get her groundwork properly. But, she has come out with flying colours.
For her 1st scene, Tahira was obviously has nervous, as anyone would be. But just then, we hear that it was the versatile actor Arshad Warsi who came to her rescue. Arshad not only made her comfortable on the shot, but also trained her about how to face the camera.
"We were shooting in Delhi - an outdoor schedule in the peak cold of December! It was for the 'tappa(dholki)' ceremony in the film! Any opportunity one got on the sets would have us running to our rooms to warm up! Interestingly enough that didn't happen with Mr. Warsi! I was shooting for an important scene and it was straight after he had completed his shot! I gave my first take and to my surprise - he called out my name, and asked me to come aside.  He said that he didn't like the way I emoted that scene and re-enact it in front of me!! So - I enacted my part about three times! First two- weren’t good enough for him! At the third attempt he gave me a pat on my back and said - That's it!! Now go kill it- and calmly walked away! I was left speechless! That day I learnt from Mr. Warsi that a film is never about just you and your solo performance- it’s a team effort and what each one brings to the plate and contributes as a team is what counts!!  I have always held him in high regard and appreciated him as an actor but from that moment my admiration and respect grew for him as a human being as well!" quipped Tahira.

Utah’s favorite dads, The Piano Guys, release their latest self-made music video “Don’t You Worry Child (Khushnuma)” featuring Indian vocalist Shweta Subram.  Filmed in “Little Sahara,” a desert sand dune in central Utah known for its soft white sand and a beautiful Indian temple, this new video tells the story of two different worlds uniting through music. The Piano Guys love incorporating ethnicity into their arrangements.  It keeps their music fresh, opens their style to new influences, and shows their appreciation and respect for other cultures.   For this video, The Piano Guys chose to record “Don’t You Worry Child (Khushnuma)” in an Indian style featuring Shweta. “Her voice depicts an Indian classical vibe while still being completely accessible,” says Steven Sharpe Nelson.  Shweta was also involved in selecting Hindi lyrics from a traditional Hindi prayer for the arrangement.  The alternative title “Khushnuma” means “happiness” and “no worries.” 
In writing the music for the song, The Piano Guys studied traditional Indian instruments.  “We worked at recreating qualities of the pungi flute, the pitched tabla drum, and the sitar with steel, wood, carbon fiber, and electric cellos,” says Steven.  “We added piano licks that were inspired by both the traditional Indian scale and the Western Classical style – blending the two, as we like to do in our music. Shweta’s vocals completed the song, giving the whole arrangement an authenticity and refined beauty.”  
The Piano Guys started making music videos together for fun and their “hobby” turned into a worldwide phenomenon when their self-made YouTube videos amassed millions and millions of views (over 248 million to date). Signed to Sony Masterworks’ imprint label Portrait, The Piano Guys released their second album The Piano Guys 2 on May 7th, 2013.

John Abraham gets lean for Madras Cafe.

Bollywood’s quintessential poster boy ,John Abraham, known for his ripped and chiseled body will now be seen sporting a leaner frame, to get into the skin of his character, essaying the role of special agent, against an indo-country backdrop in Viacom Motion Pictures,JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Film’s political thriller,Madras Cafe.
Since the actor had to play an intelligence officer,sporting a body which was more real and naturally lean as opposed to a bulked-up body,John adopted a special diet and fitness routine to look the part. 
Says director Shoojit Sircar, “ Yes audiences will see a leaner John Abraham since I didn’t want him to particularly stand out in a crowd , he needed to look like one of them.Hats off to his dedication since he worked really hard on his physique for the film”.

Sony Music to release the official soundtrack featuring India’s viral sensation Adhi along with the popular Indian Idol Junior singers!
 Mumbai, 31st July 2013: India has some new Men in Blue in town and they are going to be singing their way to the top of the charts! Sony Pictures’ much awaited THE SMURFSTM 2 will have an Indian song called “Na Na Na (Nice v/s Naughty)” in keeping with the theme of the new movie. To be released by Sony Music, the song features Chennai-based viral sensation Adhi of HipHop Tamizha (pronounced “Tamila”) whose hit “Club le Mabbu le” has garnered over 2.1 million views on YouTube. Keeping in mind the Smurfs’ huge appeal with kids, Adhi will be joined by the top nine contestants of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular primetime show Indian Idol Junior.
They join an illustrious group of top international artistes. The film’s international soundtrack features Britney Spears’ hit “Ooh La La”. Other major international artists that have shown some Smurf love include Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Smurfy” (a remake of their classic “I’m Too Sexy” and LMFAO’s “I’m Vexy and I Know It” (remake of their super-hit “I’m Sexy and I Know It”).
Sony Music will make the song available across all digital platforms.

 Nirmika & The Few Good Men is a pop-rock, reggae and urban folk band band based in Mumbai, fronted by singer-songwriter Nirmika Singh. Besides performing their Hindi-English songs, they’ve also added regional languages like Konkani and Brij to their repertoire. Currently, the band is in the process of recording its debut album, Shor Macha, which will comprise of nine multi-generic and multilingual songs. The album will be part of a crowd-funding and crowd-sourcing project which will be launch in August.
In the recent past, Hungama Music’s digital music platform Artist Aloud chronicled the band's journey by filming a rockumentary on them for their initiative - TGIF: Thank God It's Rock On Friday-a music documentary series that has covered established acts like Parikrama, Raghu Dixit, Agnee,Something Relevant among others. Their single, Mujhko Fikar Kya had also topped the Artist Aloud indie music charts.
 The band comprises Nirmika Singh (vocals), Cris Victor (bass), Jose Neil Gomes (Keyboard/sax/violin/flute), John Fernandes (guitars) and Sanjay Gupta (drums).
 Recently, Nirmika was also listed as one of the most promising female artistes in Gibson Guitar's feature on women who are rocking the indie music scene.
The band has performed at live music venues across cities such as Blue Frog (Mumbai), F Bar (Delhi),  Firangi Paani (Mumbai), Howzzat (Gurgaon), QBA (Delhi), Cavala (Goa) among many others. Their corporate shows include those for Airtel, Nokia, BMW, Xerox, SAIL, Bajaj, Tuborg.     TMKOC integrates with Smurfs’-2

     Asit Kumarr Modi produced show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has become one of the most sought after show on television by Hindi Films and producers. Completing five years the show will enter into it’s sixth year on 29th July 2013.  Journey of Sixth year begins with its integration with successful International Cartoon film Smurfs’-2.
    There is a completion where Tappu and his friends participate and the chosen winner is taken to France as ambassador of India to meet and greet cartoon characters from SMURFS’-2. “It was a different experience all together. We had so much of fun,” exclaims Tappu, who along with his Dadaji Champaklal got into the Smurf mood once he reached Paris.  Comments Asit Kumarr Modi, “when we met the producer of Smurfs Jordan Kerner, he congratulated us on completing five years on television. He was very impressed because abroad shows run as per seasons and five years constant run is unheard of. He was happy that Smurfs was getting Taarak as integration platform.”

    Disgusted by being openly cheated by his model- new to Mumbai boyfriend Ashwini Koul, designer Saazish Sidhu recalls, “It all ended when I caught him cheating on me with another Delhi based girl & I was taken aback when he replied back with Yes, I am using you, now what? I am shattered & devastated; I bought him a new flat, a new car & asked for nothing. I didn’t deserve this.”
    Saazish who has been in the industry for 5 long years creating some of the best designs for ad world & few movies too found true love in this new-in- town Delhi boy Ashwini Koul who apparently never revealed his bisexuality & cheated on the designer with a Delhi based girl friend.
    Saazish after returning from his shoot in Mauritius learnt that his live in boyfriend spend long hours over the phone& on confronting Ashwini, he got to know of being cheated on by Koul.
    Despite the hurt Saazish sent flight tickets to Ashwini’s girlfriend & got her to Mumbai & to his shock he mentions, “She told me over the phone that she would confront him & end the relationship but to my shock everything went well between them & they left the house I bought for them & after the girl returned back, Ashwini shamelessly returned home begging for things to be back to normal.”
    Saazish, who is not over the entire episode & decided to publically bring out the topic mentions, “I cannot even imagine how conveniently he used me to lead a leisure life in Mumbai. I have thrown him out of the house now. Let’s see where fate takes him.”

    Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah celebrates completion of 5 years....T​his parody of satire & laughter moves into its 6th year

    Asit Kumarr Modi produced Tele-Serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ completed five years of successful run on 28th July 2013. At the last minute Asit Modi organized an impromptu get together of cast and crew to watch the special episode of 28th together. besides the technical team, producers Asit and Neela Modi actors who turned up to watch it with their families were Dilip Joshi, Disha Wakani, Neha Mehta, Bhavya Gandhi, Sonalika Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar, Amit Bhatt, Shyam Pathak, Moonmoon Dutta, Azad kavi, Ambika Ranjankar, Sankla, Tanmay Vekaria, Ghanshyam Nayak, Daya Shankar Pandey,  and many others.
    Commented Dilip Joshi before cutting the cake, “ Fiev years….. its unbelievable…. To maintain such love and loyalty fo viewers in a sitcom is unheard of. But real credit goes to our writers Raju & Rajen bhai and asit ji.     Actor Herry Tangri who made his Bollywood debut with critically acclaimed  Dibakar Banerjee's 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha', where he played a role of a Pop Star as Loki Local, his performance in movie was very well recognized by the audience.

    Chandan Roy Sanyal was surrounded by spooky energies in Chapel

    Chandan roy sanyal starrer “prague” which is produced by rohit khaitan and directed by ashish shukla is a psychological thriller.
    Recalls Producer Rohit Khaitan,it was One of the finest scenes from our film which was shot in sedlec ossuary, which is a roman catholic chapel located beneath the cemetery church and The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeleton of 40, - 70,000 people, whose bones in many cases have been artistically arranged to give a decorative appearance to the chapel. While we were shooting in the church, chandan  suddenly suffered a serious headache ,due to the high energy in the church . He was already quite uncomfortable to shoot in such sought of  aura. He started feeling suffocated with dizziness, and the entire crew got really scared and decided to call off the shoot for the day.Though the medical help was already called  for,Rohit Khaitan suggested Chandan Roy Sanyal to take rest for a day but Chandan insisted to shoot further and finish up with the sequence as he understands the importance of shooting a film in a foreign location.
    Producer Rohit Khaitan was immensely touched with his gesture and believes  he is one of the finest and the fastest growing Bollywood actors.
