TOMORROW X TOGETHER REVEALS CONCEPT TRAILER FOR THE CHAOS CHAPTER: FREEZE

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, HUENINGKAI) gears up for the upcoming release of their second studio album with a stunning concept trailer. The album is slated for release on May 31.

The newly released clip begins with the words: “Fight, flight or FREEZE.” The members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER are gathered in front of an arcade machine when a snowball hits BEOMGYU on the back of his head out of nowhere. SOOBIN attempts to enter another coin into the machine but the coin slot now appears to be frozen.

The members escape out of the frozen space, thwarting attacks of the ice on the way. As they kick and punch their way through, YEONJUN is trapped between large obstructions of ice. TAEHYUN slides down an escalator to join the other members, and YEONJUN jumps down from his entrapment. Together once again, the five members continue on their efforts to destroy and evade the ice.

Despite their relentless efforts to break away, the members eventually become frozen in a thick layer of ice. A silhouette of a girl emerges as light, and the ice that envelopes them begins to melt.

The concept trailer kicks off further album teaser contents to follow—three versions of concept photos, an album tracklist, and album preview. Following the group’s success for minisode1 : Blue Hour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER is expected to reach new heights worldwide with The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.

After a successful screening at the Pune International Film Festival, awards at the Rajasthan International Film Festival it was a houseful show at the Orange City International Film Festival.

To top it all, top artists from India offered their own POVs on India’s first POV film Rakkhosh.

Fans went berserk at Nagpur occupying all seats at the show in the Orange City. Filmmakers and the actors came in for heavy praise and felicitation.

“We are overwhelmed by the response,” exults Srivinay Salian, the writer director of the film.

“We did not think that fans would also enjoy a film of this genre. But cinema is changing and content is king,” says producer Santosh Deshpande.

“The work of actors Sanjay Mishra, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Priyanka Bose and other actors came in for so much praise from the fans. While the gentry was praising the filmmaking efforts, the fans went gaga over the performances as well,” says Prashen Kyawal, the creative producer of Rakkhosh.

What however was humbling was the fact that artists like Tirtha Banerjee, Upendra Desai and Aditya Nibhanapudi presented their own version of the film with their point of view through art works. “All we can say that everyone has a point of view on cinema and this is a historic moment for us,” chirps Salian.

And finally, the filmmakers, inspired by the artists, have announced a contest for fans and artists and requested them to make their own POV of the film Rakkhosh.

A Blow by Blow account
ü Nagpur's Orange City International Film Festival (OCIFF) 2019 screened to overflowing audience. The film crew had to vacate the seats for public and still some public returned as the auditorium was houseful and over-seated!

#  RAKKHOSH film was introduced to the audience by Festival Director Dr. Chandrashekhar Meshram followed by felicitation of Producer Santosh Deshpande and Writer-Director Srivinay Salian.

# Audience was hooked to the seats due to the intriguing "Whodunnit?" plot of the film and gave standing ovation to the film after completion.

# Dr. Vinay Indurkar, Dean of a fine arts college felicitated the team post screening. Inox theatre management too felicitated the Writer-Director post the screening.

# Salian was also invited as a panelist to participate in a discussion with  reputed cinema guru Samar Nakhate and acclaimed Film Director Dr. Jabbar Patel and was felicitated for the same.

# To top it all, actor and Associate Director Ravikant Soitkar was also felicitated by the festival for his outstanding performance in RAKKHOSH.

ü Such a wonderful day was preceded by coverage in international media from South East Asia and Poland to be followed by a very academic and positive review of RAKKHOSH in an US print publication. Few more critics who attended the festival screening too gave thumbs up for it.

ü Festival accolades, national and international media attention with appreciation from film critics was topped up by the ultimate gratification of positive public response. They said they were hooked till the end trying to figure out what's next and appreciate the awareness the film brings about mental illness. They applauded the unique treatment of POV technique and said they are proud that such films are being made in India.

ü Soon artists like Tirtha Banerjee, Upendra Desai and Aditya Nibhanapudi who were following the buzz about RAKKHOSH got intrigued by the concept and sent us their POV on "What is RAKKHOSH?" in painting and sketches.

 # When art begets art, it can be said to be the apostle of appreciation a film can have. The Producers and Team RAKKHOSH got overwhelmed by this gesture by the artistic community and came up with an idea to turn it into a campaign for everyone with an artistic expression to provide their Art POV on "What is RAKKHOSH?"

 # Be it a painting, a sketch, a doodle or poetry, song or audio or video recitation of their thoughts, all mediums of expression are welcome to let TEAM RAKKHOSH know what is your Art POV on "What is RAKKHOSH?" Top 3 entries will be rewarded with an entry to the premier or special screening whenever it happens.

Produced by Gravittus Foundation and directed by Aarti S Bagdi, the makers of Udne Do had invited special dignitaries and distinguished guests from various walks of life to launch the trailer of Udne Do on 16th November including Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis, Vice President -Axis Bank, Pankaja Munde-Palwe (State Minister for Rural Women and Child Development), designer Manish Malhotra, Zareen Khan, Lara Dutta and Usha Kakade's daughter in law, Devika Kakade. The cast and crew including Revathi and child actors were also present.

Based on the topic of Good Touch Bad Touch, the short film is touted as an eye-opener for the parents thereby creating more awareness regarding child abuse among them.

After Nirbhaya  case ,Usha Kakade spearheaded the campaign calling it as good touch bad touch in over 6000 government schools. While no one so far has spoken about the cause yet, Gravittus Foundation is credited to be the only one working tirelessly towards the same.

Usha Kakade informs, “The objective of Good Touch Bad Touch is to create and spread awareness amongst school children and parents to make them understand about issues related to their safety and security. During our interaction with the kids, we got to know some really disturbing stories and facts and to eradicate this issue, we came up with a short film, Udne Do that aims to reach out to more children and their parents and make them more aware. It’s an ode to those innocent dreams. Let them soar, let them fly… UDNE DO.”

She adds, "Having worked for the cause over several years and interacting with various faculty members of the educational institutions across the country, I've understood that we need to create more awareness among the parents and teachers and this was possible through the medium of cinema. As they say charity begins at home, similarly we have to make ourselves aware first and later the society at large to make the society a better place to live in."

Amruta Fadnavis says, "Udne Do deals with an important and sensitive topic which is also the need of the hour. 53 percent of children between the age of 5 to 12 are being sexually abused. Their lives are being tortured by the nightmares they have to face. So it's very important to create awareness and Udne Do is the best medium besides social media platforms."

Revathi says, "I really appreciate USK Foundation to give Aarti the freedom and space to make this film. When I heard the script, I was worried whether the film would be made the way it should be. I think movie is a great medium that helps create good awareness. I am sure that this film will leave a mark and will educate and make aware the parents and educational institutions. We need to know and understand our children well so that we could aim for a better society and the country at large. We need to give them a safer world so that they can fly with their dreams."

Pankaja Munde says, "The ratio as suggested by Amrutaji is quite disturbing. It's a good sign that people have started talking about it and coming forward to expose the heinous crime but there's law to protect. I think the children are too young to understand good touch and bad touch. More than knowledge, we should provide them with protection."

Aarti S Bagdi says, "Usha Kakade has been working on the subject of Udne Do for a long time. We have read about the issue of child abuse but not really talk about it. There are two people who shape up a child - parents and teachers. While Ushaji's Foundation works with schools, we thought of creating awareness through the medium of cinema. The movie also highlights the power to speak up. I'm glad the entire team came passionately towards the cause and helped us to make this film."

Designer Manish Malhotra says, "It's been around 3 years that I know Usha ji. She is certainly the person for various causes and we have been speaking about it as well. We should have spoken about the cause few years back which we didn't but I'm glad we are speaking now. We need to instill positivity, faith and hope in our children and make them feel that there is good touch as well."
