Railway Raju On December 18

Railway Raju, a love story amidst an action film based on the wrestling gangs of Banaras and directed by Dinkar Rao, is slated for release on December 18, 2020 in theatres in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and New Delhi braving the Covid onslaught.

 

It creates a beautiful beginning for films to return to theatres like the good old days before Covid struck. “For me, it’s a pleasant surprise that the film is releasing and it’s a UP based film. It’s a film which has interesting elements. When I showed it at the Cannes film market many buyers from South East Asia and North America liked the concept of wrestling gangs in north India.” says director Dinkar Rao whose short film Asthi starring Antara Rao was premiered at Cannes, which he plans to complete it as a feature film with a known Bollywood actress.

Yash Raj Films Will Release “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” For Green Gold Animation On July 6, 2018 Across India

Yash Raj Films which is distributing the forthcoming Indian animation films “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” & “Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka 3D” have pushed the release of “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” to July 6, 2018 to avoid a clutter of 3D release. 

Produced by innovative animation content company Green Gold Animation, “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” and “Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka 3D” will be released in Hindi and Tamil languages across India in stereoscopic 3D & normal 2D versions. 

Speaking about this decision to delay the film, Rohan Malhotra, Vice President - Distribution, Yash Raj Films said, “Over the past few days, there have been multiple changes in the release schedule of 3D movies so we decided it’s best to delay the release of our movie “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” so we can space the 3D releases in a manner which does not result in competing movies cannibalising each other’s business. The producers have conceptualised, designed & produced “Hanuman Vs Mahiravana 3D” in stereoscopic 3D so on 6 July, 2018 we want Indian audiences to experience an homegrown Indian 3D animation film in all its glory.”

The quest to rescue princess Sita is coming to an end as Rama and his army of monkeys make their final push for victory against the demon king Ravana of Lanka. Producer Ajay Kapoor ecstatic about the immense love for Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran

Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran has been the talk of the town since its trailer launch and has just increased over the weekend after the release of the film.  It is clear from the name what the movie is about. Based around the events and people behind making India a nuclear nation, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran tells the story of how India decided to become a nuclear state. It salutes the efforts of the Indian Army and scientists who worked so tirelessly against all odds to ensure that India finds its due place in the World Nuclear Map.

The film that also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

Murder on the Orient Express to premiere in India at the 48th International Festival of India

The brand new film adaptation of Agatha Christie's bestselling novel - Murder on the Orient Express releases in Indian cinemas on the 24th November , however , the murder mystery film will first premiere at the 48th International Film Festival of India. What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, as detective Hercule Poirot races against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. The film will premiere at the festival on the 21st November and is among the few to be screened at the "Cinema of the World" section at IFFI 2017. The 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2017), organized by the Government of India, is set to be held in the beach state of Goa fromNovember 20 -28,2017.  An annual event in the global festival calendar, the theme of this year’s edition of IFFI will be ‘Celebrating the Future of Cinema’ – bringing youngsters the best minds of the cinematic world.

Writer-producer Harry Sachdeva, whose dramatic thriller ‘31 October’ starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan released this weekend, had organized a special screening of the film for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other MLAs and reportedly, the film got a majorly positive response from everyone.
Confirming the same, Harry said, “I am extremely honored that the CM took time to watch 31 October.  His government in Delhi is taking some right steps to address the issue of the delayed justice to victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh pogrom and I want the support of both State and Central Government to ensure that at least now the victims get justice.  His appreciation of the film matters a lot and I am happy to see him moved as the film ended.”

idambaram in 2009 for giving a clean chit to 1984 riots accused Jagdish Tytler, said, “I had come for the screening but couldn’t watch the film for long as it raked old wounds and I got emotionally overwhelmed. However, I would urge each and every one of you to watch this film as it will send across a message that violence and bloodshed is never an answer to any issue.”

‘31 October’ revolved around the struggles of a Sikh family, which is trapped in a riot zone in Delhi in the aftermath of the assassination of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Produced by writer-producer Harry Sachdeva and Magical Dreams Productions Pvt Ltd, , co-produced by Anand Prakash, directed by National award winner Shivaji Lotan Patil, and released by Panorama Studios, ‘31 October’ is a glimpse into the  controversial dark chapter of India’s History.

Harry Baweja screens 'Chaar Sahibzaade' sequel for The Jathedaar Akal Takht, The Golden Temple, Shri Amritsar

After 'Chaar Sahibzaade' released in 2014, director Harry Baweja had reportedly said it took him dozens of trips to Amritsar to secure permission to make the animated film based on the sacrifices of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh.

Now ready with the sequel, he has flown down "Singh Sahib", The Jathedaar Akal Takht, and other key members for a special screening of Chaar Sahibzaade – The Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur. Harry Baweja wants to be reassured that he hasn't missed out any detail in the film or included something that's not in with history. "You have to be careful with history, so it is important to run the film by them. I want everything in sync with facts and no one knows about The Sikh History better than them."

The Jathedaar Akal Takht has watched the movie and lauded the efforts of Harry Baweja for showcasing a huge chapter from the Sikh history and weaving it very well in a 2 hour film!

The sequel releases later this month and Harry Baweja will apply for certification after incorporating suggestions from them. "We didn't want to go to the Censor Board without seeking blessings of the Golden Temple's head priest first," he says.

The Director of Shivaay refuses to show ‎the Big Screen Experience on a small screen

Ajay Devgn has created a special visual experience to launch 'Bolo Har Har Har' the title track of his film Shivaay. The Star Director Producer has created a visual extravaganza for the audience in a special music video shot with the singers and the music director of the track. One can only wonder “if this is small? What does the director mean by Big” some of the dancers were absolutely in awe during the shoot of the video.Mithoon, the Music Director of the film has jammed with Badshah, Sukhwinder, Megha Sriram Dalton and Mohit Chauhan for the title track of Shivaay.

Badshah continues to rev up Hindi and Punjabi music charts with his popular tracks. The singer has given an unparalleled rendition in the title track of Shivaay. Music greats including Sukhwinder and Mohit Chauhan have also lent their voice to the title track of Shivaay. Amongst the three men is also the voice of Megha, who has given a fresh mesmerizing chant. The track is perfect to a fault.

Known for his simplicity, the track was a challenge for Mithoon as well as all the singers and was more than a year in the making. He wanted me to make a powerful sound to represent the intensity and the contemporary nature of his film at a level of world music".

Several elements interlace this beautiful mix of the contemporary and traditional sounds. It blends EDM and future sounds seamlessly to take listeners into an enchanting realm. Bolo Har Har Har is layered with sound effects from the future forecast of the global sound scene which has been especially designed into the track.
