Even as many other films are moving out of the
race fearing the onslaught of the coronavirus –Bengaluru based Prime Originals
Private Limited which also owns a OTT platform NET5
has entered into film distribution by having their first movie - Legacy of Lies
starring Scott Adkins on April 2nd across India in
Hindi, Tamil and Telugu apart from English, The Indian versions are called
Agent MI 6.
“Even though we have our own OTT platform NET5,
we want to release some of their action, blockbuster movies first in theatres
and stream it later on their platform. We have set up distribution across India
and have movies lined up for theatrical distribution with 2
movies every month. Legacy of Lies is releasing across 500
screens,” says Balwanth Singh, the moving spirit behind this novel idea.
Legacy of Lies is about Martin Baxter, an ex-MI6 agent
is thrown back into the world of espionage and high stakes when Sasha
Stepanenko, a beautiful Ukrainian journalist, seeks his help uncovering the
shocking truth about operations conducted by the Russian Secret Service. The
film has been written and directed by Adrian Bol and also stars Anna Butkevich
and Yuliia Sobol.
The trailer of the upcoming Hindi
film Nakkash was launched on 8th May, 2019
at the Cinepolis, Andheri-West, Mumbai. After receiving the green signal from
the censor board, the trailer of the film was made available to all. The
Director Zaigham Imam, producers Pawan Tiwari, Govind Goyal, Inaamulhaq, Sharib

personal liking towards Kashmir because I’m a half Kashmiri. When I read this
script and Ashvin first sent me the script I found it very interesting because

The trailer of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s
much-awaited film Milan Talkies is out now. The trailer launch event happened
at Gaiety Galaxy theatre. It was attended by the star cast including Ali Fazal,

launching the trailer of Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016) on the sets of the most
popular sitcoms of Indian television, The Kapil Sharma Show, Eros International
and Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions have come up with yet another
unique and first-of-its-kind promotional strategy for their much anticipated
sequel, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi!
While
Diana Penty's popular character 'Happy' from Happy Bhag Jayegi went missing and
was later found in Pakistan, the makers – Eros International and Aanand L Rai’s
Colour Yellow Productions were once again in a fix over the missing of another
Happy (Sonakshi Sinha) but with the help of the media this time, they
eventually found her in Mumbai.
Interestingly,
the cast of the film including Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra and Diana Penty along
with the media went searching for Happy in a happy van, especially designed for
the film’s promotional campaign. Much to their surprise, they found Happy at a
plush hotel in Mumbai where the trailer of the laughter riot was launched.
Popular
standup comedian Jeeveshu who also plays a pivotal character in the film
introduced the cast of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi on stage including Sonakshi
Sinha, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra and Jassie Gill along with

Sunny Leone’ had released the teaser of the series and the trailer of the
series was unveiled late last night.

by Aditya Datt, who had helmed the hit thriller ‘Table No.21’, ‘Karenjit Kaur:
The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone’ traces Sunny’s journey from a girl-next-door
to a Bollywood celebrity and if you thought the teaser was impressive, the
trailer is absolutely mind-blowing. ‘Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story Of Sunny
Leone’ is bold, explosive, entertaining and touching at the same time and we
can’t wait to watch it as and when it premieres. Shot in Cape Town, the biopic
also offers a glimpse of director Aditya Datt’s vision and sensitivity when
dealing with a story. It has been generally seen that web series in India lack
finesse, but we are sure that Datt’s upcoming venture will surely prove to be

Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's much awaited film was launched at an event in
Mumbai. The film set in Rajasthan is a official adaptation of Nagraj Manjule's
2017 hit Sairat. The 3-minute long video takes us to Janhvi and Ishaan's
journey of love, which initially was one-sided.
Talking
about the actors, Karan Johar said, "Ishaan and Janhvi are special to all
of us". Karan Johar was launched the audio version of the Hindi version of
Zingat along with trailer.
On
talking about adapting Sairat, director Shashank Khaitan said, "I was
extremely nervous to adapt Sairat. The story is relatable and I wanted tell the
story to everyone. I am that I could make Dhadak. Also, I am extremely proud of
Janhvi and Ishaan.
During
the media interaction, Janhvi said that she is nervous bit excited at the same
time. While Ishaan said when he saw Sairat he was completely taken in and
wanted to be a part of Dhadak.

The
teaser of Kunal Kapoor’s new film – Noblemen is out, and it tackles the
extremely pertinent and important issue of bullying in high schools. The film,
produced by Yoodlee Films – the film production stable from Saregama India – is
directed by Vandana Kataria, and has an ensemble of fresh faces, along with
Kunal Kapoor.
The
film is narrated through the tale of the main protagonist, a young 15 year old
boy, Shay, who struggling to come to terms with his adolescent years, and is
terrorized by a gang of bullies. The film is set in an all boys’ boarding
school, where Shay’s interest in dramatics is encouraged by Murali, (Kunal
Kapoor). However what starts off as his desire to be a part in the enactment of
the Shakespearean play, The Merchant of Venice, turns into a battle of student
hierarchy and egos, unleashing a chain of events that leads to loss of life and
innocence.
This
will be the third film by Saregama’s film production arm, Yoodlee films.
Yoodlee Films has previously released the critically applauded Ajji, directed
by Devashish Makhija last year, and the sensitive and mature romantic drama
Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, directed by Onir, earlier this year.
Actor Harsh Chhaya makes his directorial debut
with whacky family entertainer ‘Khajoor Pe Atke’ and the first song from the

director Devesh Pratap Singh along with Producer and writer Dr. Rachel Singh.
The writer Altaf Hussain along with film distributor Manoj Nandwana was also
present at the event. The singer Tapeshwar Kalia was also making his presence
with much excitement. The actors Pankaj Kumar and Avtar Singh Bhullar were
present at the event, making the event very splendid.
The film is about two strangers who unknowingly
ran into each other one night and when they got up next day, they were quite
shocked. Neither of them can remember the previous night events and cannot
recollect how they got there in the first place. The boy (Neel) is an average
middle class IT professional and working in Sydney and the girl (Mini) belongs
to a gangster family of Sydney. She is the daughter of a crime boss. Little did
he know this was a fatal mistake getting involved with the underworld? Neel has
a girlfriend and she was very upset with the scenario and asks Neel to solve
the mess but Mini’s gangster uncles create confusion. He takes some decision
and with that some consequences come and in one night his life changes.
The director Devesh Pratap Singh quoted “Pareshaan
Parinda is a youth centric film, as they are the driving force of this
generation. The audience will connect to the story and will get glued to their
seat.Pareshan Parinda is an engaging but fresh concept of youth, how they deal
with their day to day situations, circumstances and how they sort it out in
their own way. By this film, the perspective towards youth will definitely
change. He further goes on to say that the film has the potential of starting
discussions, including giving good share of funny moments sending one to fits
of laughter and in the same breadth the audience will take home a message.
Pareshaan Parinda’s cast has come up to his expectations and hoping it will
also impress the audience. When he got the concept it was a big challenge but
at the same time very exciting to convey the message through today’s youth.
The producer, editor, writer and art director Dr.
Rachel Singh quoted “Pareshaan Parinda is a clean family film, with the message
for youth and it’s a today’s generation story. The film is a love story which
comes along with a gangster involvement in many layers and shades. She also
says the film has been most beautifully shot in Sydney and Singapore and is a
sheer treat to the eyes. The cinematography is great and the songs are of
different genre of foot-tapping and melodious songs which enhances the beauty
of the film. As they are working with international actors who have bare
connections in Bollywood is their biggest challenge and they hope they will
overcome the challenge and will prove themselves. The film will surely be loved by the cinema
goers and I am extremely excited bringing this story that is truly
inspirational.”
The film is entirely shot at various locations of
Sydney and Singapore. The film is set to release on 16th
February, 2018.
