Irrfan Khan first ever Indian actor to be roped in as the ambassador for Master Card

Actor Irrfan Khan has already put India on a Global map with the kind of films he has been doing internationally. Irrfan Khan after delivering some amazing performances in Hollywood movies like Namesake, Life of Pi, Jurassic World, Inferno and many others is now all set to explore American brand endorsement. Irrfan’s dedication towards exploring various characters has given him huge recognition in the west. Irrfan Khan is now set to be the first ever Indian actor to be roped in as the ambassador for Master Card. 

Master Card is an American multinational financial service brand and the most reputed around the world. None of the Bollywood actors has ever been roped in before to be the face of the brand. Actor Irrfan Khan is the only Indian actor who got this opportunity owing to his global presence and acceptance by the audience at large. Recently Irrfan shot for the Master Card commercial in the Pink City of Rajasthan which will be aired soon.  

Over the years Irrfan has not only managed to strike the perfect balance between Hollywood and Bollywood but also carved his name for the brand's endorsement that appeals to the masses. 

One of the sources said, “Master Card is one of the world’s largest and fastest payment and financial service. Irrfan is delighted to be a part of it, soon Irrfan will be seen in the promotional campaigns of the brand. It’s the first time an Indian face will be a part of such a reputed brand like Master Card. Internationally the brand worldwide is reputed to have the best sports players and this is a rare case when an actor has been roped in for the brand.”

Irrfan dons a skirt for GQ magazine shoot

Irrfan Khan is known for his experimental roles in movies. But the actor who recently released the trailer of his upcoming movie Qareeb Qareeb Single, has pleasantly surprised us by being very experimental in his dressing as well. And now in another for GQ magazine he owns this intense, raw and yet quirky look with ease. In one of the images he looks unique and owns distinctive style by donning a man skirt with full suave while in other photos he looks dapper and intense. In the recently held GQ awards, he won the outstanding achievement award for his work in Indian and International cinema. Irrfan Khan shot these for their anniversary special issue featuring those who were honored at the "GQ Men of The Year Awards" including Irrfan Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh and Sidharth Malhotra.Shot by Tarun Khiwal in designer clothing, Irrfan Khan surely does believe in breaking stereotypes whether it comes to choosing cinema or fashion.

Amrita Singh to play a school principal in Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium

Powerful actress, Amrita Singh will be seen in Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium essaying the role of a school principal!Director Saket Chaudhary says,” The principal’s character signifies authority, a woman who builds the future of children, and Amrita Singh has the quality to intimidate. She’s dressed in sarees that were carefully chosen to emphasize that she has taste and that lend her an air of authority.”Interestingly, the school portions shown in the film were shot in Amrita’s alma mater, Modern School, in Delhi. She was the one who suggested it and was happy to go back to school. 

Hindi Medium sees Irrfan khan in the role of a rich Punjabi businessman and clothes store owner from Chandni Chowk who along with his wife is eager to be accepted in the Capital’s elite circles.

Irrfan Khan is a man of few but very powerful words and when it comes to his sense of humour, the world is aware of his wit! Recently his very wit left him in middle of an uncalled for situation in the neighboring country.The actor was at an event over the weekend and was quizzed about rumours doing the rounds that probably his next film may have a Pakistani actress in the film. Knowing the ease of how he could be misquoted Irrfan threw in a joke to ease the situation of a sensitive matter.Irrfan joked that the actress, Sabah Qamar got married to an Indian and now is technically an Indian.While the press understood the joke it was somehow made into breaking headlines in Pakistan leaving the actor completely amused.
