Ayush Talniya, Viruss & Jumana Khan come together for a new song 'Shy'

Singer Ayush Talniya has collaborated with well-acclaimed rapper Viruss and Dubai-based model Jumana Khan for his upcoming song 'Shy'. The three artistes promise a beautiful track along with a visually appealing music video.  The song got released on June 26 and is a romantic track that expresses a guy’s feelings when he falls in love at first sight, revealed Ayush.

Ayush gained stardom after winning 'Best Vocalist at MTV Band of the Year' followed by his various hit songs which are still rulling the music charts. Viruss on the other hand became a star rapper after the tremendous success of ‘Bam Bholle’ -  a song starring Akshay Kumar. Their collaboration has raised the audience's expectations and they are eagerly awaiting to see the response from the audience.

The lyrics and music of this song are given by Ullumanati, a well-known music production house that has released multiple hit songs over the years. The music video will be released on Aatma Music’s YouTube channel.

Throwing light on how the song was conceived, Viruss said, “It was Vaseem Qureshi's idea to bring out some fresh music for the audience with urban pan India lyrics. Shy’s music was produced during the lockdown and everyone in team Aatma Music loved it from the very first moment. At last, I came on board for the rap. The lyrics of this song are in Hindi, Punjabi and English language and can easily be understood pan India. The music and composition are absolutely fresh and will definitely bring newness to the listeners.”

The music video features Jumana Khan, who is one of the most popular social media influencers and actresses from Dubai. Ayush said, “She looks gorgeous in the video and is an important part of our song. It was really a nice experience working with her as she is so down-to-earth and really professional. I would definitely love to work with her in near future”

The singer further stated that the team was always keen to shoot it in a very urban modern city and Dubai was definitely one of the best choices.

Ayush & Viruss strongly believes that for any music project, audio is the backbone. It has to be definitely strong. But video plays an essential role in bringing out its beauty. “A good video makes the audience stay connected throughout the song and that is what works as the key factor for a hit song. With the blessings of God and each one involved in this project, it has turned out beautiful. Now it’s all on the audience… we hope they’ll shower all their love on this song,” they added.

Concluding his point, Ayush said, “All the team of Aatma Music, producers Vaseem Qureshi and Ayyub Qureshi deserve a special mention for believing in the song. All in all, it is a team effort which brings out the best in a product.”

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri’s Amandeep Sidhu dons a new look for the celebration of Teej on the show

Ever since its first episode aired, Zee TV’s fiction show - Teri Meri Ikk Jindri has been successful in entertaining the masses through its unique love story of two starkly different personalities - Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) and Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan). Set against the backdrop of Amritsar, the makers have always aimed at showcasing an authentic flavour of the city and its culture via its characters, location, and storyline. Bringing in an additional Punjabi touch, in its upcoming episodes, viewers will witness Jogi and Mahi enjoying together while observing Teej, which is usually celebrated by young married women at their maternal homes during the monsoon season. While you'll see all the festivities and its fervour in its truest form, our very own Amritsari kudi, Mahi will also be seen in a fresh Punjabi look.

In the upcoming episodes of the show, Mahi will be seen cheerfully celebrating the festival with her family, letting go of all the differences that may be there between her and Pappu Ji. In fact, Mahi will take your breath away as she adorns a fresh new look, wearing a gorgeous green and red Sharara with matching ethnic accessories and the classic Punjabi Parandi hairdo for the very first time. Moreover, she will also be seen dancing away to an old Punjabi Teeyan folk song that was specially recreated by the makers, the  music director - Paresh Shah and sung by  Shree D to depict the authentic flavour and culture of the festival.

Talking about the sequence and her look for it, Amandeep Sidhu who plays the role of Mahi in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri revealed, “Teej is usually a very important festival celebrated on a grand scale by newly married women when they go back to their maternal home during the monsoon season. The celebrations are usually day long and everyone spends their time getting dressed, dancing to music or gorging on delicious sweets. While I have no personal experience, a few years ago, I had seen my cousin sister celebrating the festival with her family, so I knew all about it and the customs that are followed before we began shooting this sequence. That enabled me to guide the Teri Meri Ikk Jindri team about a few rituals and we have tried our level best to depict the festival in the most authentic manner. I must add that I really loved my look for this sequence, in fact, I was very excited because I finally got a chance to wear a parandi in my hair. We wanted to keep the look as genuine as possible without adding any modern touches to it and hence, our viewers will see me in a new look, and I am sure they are definitely going to love Mahi's new look. Honestly, we had a great time shooting together for Teej since it was the first time that the entire cast was reuniting in Mumbai, so the excitement brought in another flavour to the celebrations, and I really hope that our viewers will enjoy watching this episode. I would also like to take this opportunity and wish all the women a very Happy Teej!”

While we surely can’t wait to see Mahi celebrate the festival with her family, before that, viewers will see Mahi embark on a mission to free Jogi, who was arrested by the police after Pappu ji filed a complaint against him. Mahi also promises Jogi that he will sing at a Jagrata function like it was planned, but will Mahi be successful in her mission?

To know all this and more, tune intoTeri Meri Ikk Jindri every Monday to Saturday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV
