Jabariya jodi meets wrestling gangs in Railway Raju

Railway Raju is a story of the jabariya jodis that are made in north India. Dinkar Rao the director came across one such girl in Delhi who was forcefully wedded to a man she escaped from. “I found her story very interesting. She had changed name to Maya and was living undetected from the people who were still hunting for her. I decided to retain her name for a character in the film,” says Dinkar Rao.

Maya is from a small village near the banks of the Ganges and we have used the Ganges to tell the story. “The film is narrated by Maya and it has the eponymous character of Raju – Railway Raju and her relationship with a man who belongs to the underworld wrestling gangs of Benares. The Benares underground wrestling gangs are not very popular because of the very nature of these gangs. These gangs operate in multiple ways. There is a huge betting going on in these wrestling bouts like out in the west where there are underground fights,” explains Rao.

Sunny Shaw and Lavanya Rao play the leads in the film which has Leena Malhotra as he creative director with S Ramachandran as the project designer.

Vkaao (PVR-Book My Show joint venture) releases the film on March 29, 2019. 

About Dinkar Rao 

Dinkar Rao directed the film sZoya the black widow about a woman violated in the riots which happened in Mumbai and Gujarat. That film was the official selection at Strasbourg International film festival and the Milan International film festival. It was banned by CBFC and finally passed by the Appellate Tribunal with 26 cuts. His other short film Asthi, about a daughter running off to Haridwar to immerse the ashes of her classical singer was premiered at Cannes Court Metrage. Rao is also directing a film Papoo Photowalah with an international cast and is about the search for the diary of John Nicholson, The British East India Company hero of 1857 & treasures hidden by the British. Another documentary film Dancing Daughters was at WIP lab at Film Bazaar Goa as Snake Dancers of the Thar and is being filmed.  About Railway Raju he says “It’s very tough to shoot 100+ scenes including action, song outdoor scenes of the Ganges in this “shoe string” budget. I always wanted to make a gang-war film within social aspects of Uttar Pradesh,” Says Dinkar.

Shakeela makers to launch a first of its kind 90s pulp movies inspired calendar featuring Richa Chadha in 12 avatars

Celebrity calendars are a great innovation especially when the biggest stars face the camera in the most interesting shots becoming iconic of sorts. But it would be the first time a movie will have a dedicated calendar starring it’s central character that would be featured for the people to see and view. But this won’t be a glitzy, glamorous calendar but instead will have Richa Chadha posing in posters inspired by genre of the cheesiest, quirkiest films of the decade of the 90s which would be equally hilarious and yet are induced with a great deal of thought as an homage to the funniest posters of the time.

Each of the month has Richa posing in a new avatar with a completely made up poster of a fictional movie name and elements thereafter. The calendar will be launched in the coming week. The calendar will also have a warning that each of these images and posters bear no resemblance to any real life inspired people or any other actual films, they’re simply to be taken in light humour and enjoy the kitschy world of Shakeela from the late 90s.

Speaking about it, Richa said, "Even though our film is currently in post-production, we wanted to do something special ahead of the film's release. , The team thought we should pay this homage to her and the films that she has been a part of. It’s quirky and tongue in cheek, so we are aware many people may not understand it. But there’s an underbelly to cinema and often is crazy and colourful. I hope people find the humour we did in this calendar and enjoy the world of these 90s pulp films!

SaReGaMa's Yoodlee films release the poster of its second feature film- BrijMohan Amar Rahe

Popular music banner Saregama has ventured into film production through Yoodlee Films under which it will make thought-provoking and engaging content, releasing films every month. They will target the young, global-cinema loving audience by releasing one film each month catering to stories from India written by talented writers and a collaboration of some of the talent. 

The company is already ready with five films, and next month they are releasing their second feature film- 'Brij Mohan Amar Rahe' which will be within a few week of its first release Ajji which has been earning rave reviews across festivals. 

The makers have released the first poster of  Brij Mohan Amar Rahe which is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-crime-drama directed by Nikhil Bhat. The poster shows a circle of life of a man's journey who is convicted of his own murder. The film is scheduled for release on 8th December 2017. 

The story revolves around a man named BrijMohan who fakes his own death to escape his boring life. He gets the money and the girl until the inevitable hand of Karma gets him sentenced to death for his own murder. The film stars Arjun Mathur, Nidhi Singh, Manav Vij and Sheetal Thakur in key roles.

Grand Premier of Film “30 MINUTES” held in PVR

A grand special Premier of film "30 MINUTES" was held on 8th December 2016, at PVR, Citimall, Link Rd, Andheri West Mumbai. Honourable guests beside entire star cast present were veteran playback singer Dilraj Kaur, lyricist Sudhakar Sharma, film critic Nalin Shah, Riku Rakesh Nath, Rajesh Puri, Manmeet, Harmeet of Meet Brothers fame, Karan Bawa, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Advertisers& many more. PTC hosts a star studded premier of Zorawar

The biggest film in the history of Punjabi cinema is finally here as Zorawar hits theater screens today. 

Music sensation Honey Singh is back with a bang with PTC Motion Pictures’ Zorawar produced by Rajiee M Shinde and Rabindra Narayan and directed by Vinnil Markan.

The action packed film, packaged with all the ingredients of an exciting entertainer garnered massive anticipation ever since the first announcement, not just in India but overseas as well.

Leela of a mahout and an orphan girl

On celulide story of the relationship of a mahout and an orpahn girl create a sort of record. Malyalam film Leela, directed by Renjith is released on 22 April simultaneously in both theatre and online.This is a new record created a page in the history of Indian Cinema. Leela is based on a short story penned by noted literature Unni R. This film shows the darker sides and the thought provoking questions about women and liquor. मसूरी की बर्फीली पहाड़ियों और सुंदर घाटियों में एक अंजान साये ने मानव तस्करी का एक जाल बिछा रखा है। जिसके बारे में कोई नहीं जानता न ही उसे किसी ने देखा है। उसका सिर्फ नाम लोगों को पता है फ्रेड्रिक। एक सस्पेंडेड आईबी एजेंट विक्रम अपनी पत्नी अमृता के साथ एक स्पेशल मिशन पर मसूरी आता है जो जान बुझ कर इस जाल में फंसना चाहता है। आम टूरिस्ट की तरह घूमते हुए यह लोग कुछ लोगों के करीब आते हैं और उनके साथ एक प्राइवेट पार्टी में जाते हैं। जहाँ विक्रम ड्रग्स में उलझा दिया जाता है और अमृता का अपरहण हो जाता है। जब विक्रम को होश आता है तो वह  अपने आसपास किसी को नहीं पाता। उसके पास सिर्फ एक लड़की का फोटो होता है। कुछ खतरनाक एनकाउंटर्स के बाद वह अपने मस्तिष्क में स्पष्ट करता है कि यह लड़की कोई और नहीं उसकी लापता बहन शिखा है। विक्रम और अमृता उसे ढूंढने आए थे। अमृता के पास एक ट्रैकिंग डिवाइस रहता है जो विक्रम की घडी से जुड़ा है। इसके बाद शिखा की तलाश का सिलसिला शुरू होता है। जहाँ जहाँ विक्रम जाता है फ्रेड्रिक उसपर नज़र रखता है। विक्रम ट्रैकिंग डिवाइस की मदद से अमृता को ढूंढने की कोशिश करता है। क्या उनकी योजना सफल होती है?कई तरह के सवाल उठते हैं जैसे फ्रेड्रिक क्यों विक्रम पर नज़र रखता है?वह क्यों विक्रम में इतनी रूचि रखता है?वह अपनी पत्नी और बहन की तलाश के दौरान जो भी सुराग पाता है उनसब का संबंध फ्रेड्रिक से निकलता है। लेकिन क्या वह फ्रेड्रिक के बारे में पता करने में कामयाब होता है कि वह कौन है और कहाँ रहता है?अगर फ्रेड्रिक उस की हत्या करना चाहता है तो वह बहुत आसानी से कर सकता है तब क्या चीज़ है जो उसे ऐसा करने से रोकती है?स्टोरी उस वक्त हैरत भरा मोड़ लेती है जब विक्रम को पता चलता है कि दरअसल फ्रेडरिक उसे मारना नहीं चाहता। वह अब और ज़्यादा कन्फ्यूज़्ड हो जाता है। सारी पहेलियां और राज़ से उस वक्त पर्दा उठता है जब विक्रम का सामना फ्रेड्रिक से होता है तो एक कल्पना से परे रहस्य का भी सामना होता है। इन तमाम रहस्यों और पहेलियों के बीच इस रोचक कहानी का अंत एक दर्दनाक मोड़ पर होता है। 

Tere Bin Laden – Dead or Alive releasing on 19th February 2016

Walkwater Media's sleeper hit Tere Bin Laden directed by Abhishek Sharma saw both commercial success and critical acclaim, with audience raving about the satirical comedy that explored a novel concept.The second installment of the franchise titled "Tere Bin Laden – Dead or Alive" is now set to release on 19th February 2016.  

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Walkwater Media Limited, co-produced by Shivantika Productions , the sequel this time around, features  Manish Paul and Sikandar in a never-seen-before avatar, Pradhuman Singh as he reprises his comic role, among others including Piyush Mishra, Iman Crosson, Sugandha Garg, Chirag Vora and Rahul Singh. The satirical comedy also stars Ali Zafar in a special role, as he returns to the franchise that marked his big Bollywood debut. Phantom Films will be distributing the film worldwide.

The gorgeous and stunning actress Mugdha Godse is all set to play the role of a grey-shaded hot-shot TV Channel Producer in her upcoming film "Ishq Ne Krazy Kiya Re". The film is based on a musical reality show of which Mughda will be the producer and will be seen taking care of all the mean decision taken by the producers producing reality shows in India. "Ishq Ne Krazy Kiya Re" is being produced by Santosh Katara, Alok Singh and Radhe Shyam Sharma under the banner of Nalanda RSG Films Productions.

The movie also stars Nishant Malkhani and Madhurima Banerjee in the lead role. Ace actor Rati Agnihotri will also be seen playing her charm in the movie after a long gap. The movie "Ishq Ne Krazy Kiya Re" is a romantic, musical based reality show which unveils the reality behind the reality shows in India. Hrishita bhatt takes a leap after a long era in “Bhai Ka Maal Hai”

After a long time Hrishita bhatt will be seen as a main lead in the upcoming film “Bhai Ka Maal Hai”. The film will be directed as well as written by Anil Goyal and produced by Rajesh Agarwal under the banner of RTM Technologies PVT LTD, Delhi. Her last film was ‘Anuradha’ which was released in the month of February. The date has not been finalized of this film yet.

In addition, other versatile actors like Anil Goyal, Milind Gunaji, Himani Shivpuri, Sunil Pal, Amita Nangia,Mustak Khan, Ehsaan Khan, KK Goswami will be considering such segments of this film.

“I am eagerly waiting for this film to be start soon with my team and since Hrishita bhatt came back  in this B-world after a long period of time so I am very excited to work on this project with her” said Anil Goyal.

Gurpreet Kaur Chadha of Punjabi Global Foundation organized Mumbai’s first premier of Dark Tunnel- a known voyage to death, the award winning movie in the Sikhnet Youth Film Festival; Jaspinder Narula was the chief guest for the show.

Dark Tunnel presented by Adol Passionates is a film based on drug addiction & Sikh way of life. Adol Passionates works towards upliftment of society through the medium of media by producing short/ feature films touching upon sensitive topics.
Gurpreet Kaur Chadha, founder of Punjabi Global Foundation took up the initiative of promoting a thought provoking movie & organized its first Mumbai premier attended by the members of the PGF foundation & many others from the Sikh community.
Jaspinder Narula was the chief guest for the preview; also present were Mansi Pritam, Ashoo Punjabi, Gunveen Singh, Surinder Aunty, and Surpreet Kaur. Gananay Chadha accompanied his mother Gurpreet Kaur Chadha to the movie preview. Dark Tunnel star casts Gunveen Singh, Harmeet Singh, and Milanpreet Singh.

Punjabi Global Foundation was founded by Ms. Gurpreet Kaur Chadha and other eminent members, who have been guide and teachers in their own way. It is to promote the rich cultural heritage of Punjab on national and international horizon.
The organization is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and dissemination of the rich Art and Cultural, Traditional Heritage of Punjab among the youth and new generations.

Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai, A Paranormal Thriller is directed by Debaloy Dey. The film stars Bhanu Uday, Swara Bhaskar, Murli Sharma and Reema Debnath. The Film is Produced by Shri Wardhman Movie Ventures Pvt. Ltd.  The Music is given by Amit Mishra. It is scheduled to release on 13^th June 2014.

Swara Bhaskar  (Ayesha) and Bhanu Uday (Uday Saxena) are a happily married couple living in Mumbai. Uday, a mechanical engineer, works at a private company and they are living a perfect life with their four year old son Sunny.

One day, while coming back from a party, they are involved in a major road accident in which the other driver dies on Ayeshas' windshield, an incident that plays on her mind and depresses her.
When Uday's boss offers him the job of managing a Jabalpur factory, he accepts the opportunity to give Ayesha a change of atmosphere.
Uday becomes busy with his job and rearranging their life. Ayesha starts to feel the presence of someone in the house that no one else can. Her fears grow and she starts behaving in a bizarre manner.
