Ace
choreographer Bosco Leslie Martis recently announced his upcoming film, a Zee
Studios in-house production, promising to bring a unique, never-done-before
genre—a dance horror-comedy—to India.
Now,
we have confirmation on the leading man for Bosco's film. Aditya Seal, who was
last seen in Student of the Year 2, will now be seen in a new avatar, as
confirmed by the director.
Director
Bosco Leslie Martis shares, "Aditya is a multi-talented artiste, who is a
skilled dancer, actor and action performer. His potential has not been fully
tapped into yet. He fits the leading character's shoes perfectly, and his
personality will blend well with that of this character. We are finalising the
screenplay and should start the pre-production work by October. We plan to roll
by early 2020."
Shariq
Patel, CEO, Zee Studios added, “We are happy to have a young, talented
performer like Aditya on board! It’s a never-seen-before genre that we are
bringing to Indian audiences especially targeted at kids, pre-teens and teens.
The film will be mounted on a huge scale with an interesting ensemble cast.”
Keeping
his promise, Bosco will also be announcing the names of a few participants from
the show, Dance India Dance, a reality show he judges, at the show finale, who
will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feature in his upcoming film. “We
are in the final leg of the show, and the winner will definitely feature in the
film. Apart from that, I am looking to rope in a few other contestants as well;
those whose skills have impressed us,” Bosco adds.
After
giving super hit films like Super 30 Hritik is ready to set the screens on fire with
another amazing film WAR. While promoting his film actor landed on the sets of
Sony Entertainment Television’s show The Kapil Sharma Show along with his
co-star Vani Kapoor. Both the actors had an entertaining time as they went of
spilling beans from behind the scenes moments of WAR and shaking legs on the
popular song ‘Ghungroo toot gaye’.
During
the show, Kapil tried to enquire about the fact that Hritik signed for WAR
because Tiger was doing the film. Clarifying the same Hritik mentions, “This
wasn’t the major condition but I told the makers that if Tiger is doing the
film, I will definitely do the film.” He adds, “After I did Super 30 I had gained a lot of
weight. My waist size was around 38inches. Working with Tiger inspired me to lose
weight and make it 30 again.” He recalls the movie Life of Pi and says
“Everyone needs a Tiger in his boat”.
Further
in the show, HR revealed his personal message for Vani after their 1st shoot sequence in WAR.
When Vani came on The Kapil Sharma show for the first time she had mentioned
that she is a huge fan of HR. Hence Kapil tried to enquire from her that how
did she react on meeting him for the 1st time. Vani asked HR to share the incidence.
Hritik adds, “I know why she is asking me to narrate the incidence because I
wrote a very long text message after my 1st shot with her. She had put her entire heart
and emotions into the film. The message read ‘What you have brought into the film
is something that I did not expect. You are tremendous actor with full
spontaneity.”

Former
national player and the well known actress Prachi Tehlan, who is going to make
a debut with Malayalam cinema superstar Mammootty, has an interesting story of
Mamangam, the first mega budget film of her career. She is playing the lead
character in the film Mamangam and since the release of the first graphical
trailer of the film, there has been a growing interest in the Hindi audience.
According
to a published story on Amar Ujala, a few sources reveal that makers of the
film had earlier approached South's famous actress Anushka Shetty for the
female lead role. Both of the films of Anushka's Bahubali series had become
hits by that time and had become a well-known figure in the north region too.
However, Anushka wanted to do a light-hearted film after doing two period
films, so she refused Mamangam's offer and started shooting for her next film
Silence with R. Madhavan.
On
the other hand, after Anushka Shetty's debut, the makers of the movie Mamangam
decided to launch a new face with Mammootty instead of going to another big
heroine and the film's production team came and camped in Mumbai. Sources
associated with the casting of the film Mamangam reveal that auditions for this
role were given to all the actresses in Mumbai and Prachi Tehlan's name was
final among them. Sources also shared details of how long Prachi prepped for
this role before shooting the film.
Venu
Kunappilli, the producer of the film Mamangam, recently held a special program
for Malayalam film buffs on the film's set, where Prachi was also specially
invited. The first poster of Prachi's Looks has been released and since its
release, there have been reports of some big producers of Hindi cinema
contacting Prachi as well.
The
2nd edition of the Indian
Sports Honours (ISH), by RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Virat Kohli was held on 27th September 2019 in Mumbai. The annual ceremony is held to
recognize and celebrate Indian athletes across various sports and sees
attendance from several prominent and renowned personalities from the sports
and Bollywood fraternity.
This
year, the red carpet was graced by the biggest names in sports like Pulella
Gopichand, Mahesh Bhupati, Sardar Singh, Sania Mirza, Satnam Singh, Yuvraj
Singh, Vinesh Phogat, Milkha Singh, Neeraj Chopra, Dipa Karmakar, Ajinkya

Filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani unveiled the trailer of his much awaited upcoming
film Saand Ki Aankh in Mumbai's Inorbit Mall on Monday.
The
inspirational journey of India’s oldest sharp shooters, Prakashi Tomar and
Chandro Tomar is, presented by Reliance Entertainment & Anurag Kashyap in
association with chalk and cheese films, is directed by acclaimed scriptwriter
Tushar Hiranandani and stars Taapsee Pannu & Bhumi Pednekar. The drama is
produced by Reliance Entertainment, Nidhi Parmar.
Present
at the launch were the lead actresses Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.
However, the guest of honour was Prakashi Tomar, the shooter Dadi, who is
essayed on the screen by Taapsee.
The
trailer was received by a thunderous applause from the audience.
Taapsee
Pannu, “We really had big boots to fill. Primarily it started with the fact
that I wanted to do two films where two actresses would work together with
equal roles. They are big heroes for the entire nation to look upto. For me a
very emotional reason to do this film was that I just couldn’t stop thinking
about my mother when I heard the story. For me this story is about those women,
who before marriage spent their life listening to their fathers, after
marriage, they lived for their husbands and later they had children and lived
for them and never lived for themselves. My mother is 60 and now I feel like
telling her that she is should live her life the way she wants. From my side
this film is dedicated to my mother”
An
emotional Bhumi Pednekar, who plays the role of Chandro Tomar in the film said,
“The fact that Taapsee and I were going to do this together was the most
exciting part of me because I think I am a phenomenal actor. When Tushar said
that she is finalised, I knew that it was meant to be. There are some films
which are very special and this is one of them. This film is an ode to my
grandparents, my parents, and an ode to my mom. Just what our mothers did for
us, we don’t even get a chance to thank them. This is our way of thanking them.
Both the dadis is such an inspiration for all of them.
Talking
to the media, Tushar said, "I saw them on the episode of Satyamev Jayate,
Aamir show and I had tears in my eyes. I told my wife who is also the producer
that I wanted to tell this story. But this film is not just me, it my writers
Balwinder Singh Janjua and Jagdip and my team, my real hero is Sudhakar Reddym
the cameraman. I always knew that I wanted a story to direct but didn't know
what. But when I saw them on that episode, I knew I wanted to tell their story.
This film is made on believe. Everyone went out of their way to make this film
and it took five years.”

After his major motion picture titular lead in
Victoria and Abdul, actor Ali Fazal will now be starring opposite the globally
renowned and loved Gal Gadot most famously known as playing the role of Wonder
Woman. The duo are set to star in the on screen modern day adaptation of Agatha
Christie’s novel Death on the Nile and is set be directed by Kenneth Branagh.
He has to his credit having directed some immensely popular and successful film
including the first film the Thor series, Hamlet, As You Like It , Murder on
the orient express amongst many others.
The film is based on the the famous Agatha
Christie Novel “Death on the Nile”. It explores the investigation Hercule
poirot sets upon due to certain mysterious events that occur on a cruise ship
on the nile. A murder. . As the investigation goes on and a handful of suspects
come into question, several of the suspects also meet their demise, further
deepening the mystery.
The film is part of the series by 20th
Century Fox which earlier saw the much successful film, Murder on the Orient Express
taking in major monies at the box office worldwide. This film too boasted of a
stellar cast including Penelope cruz, Johnny Depp and others. Death on the Nile
has previously been made in 1978 starring legends
including Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, Mia Farrow and others .

Sayani Gupta is all set for the World Premiere of her next film Axone at 63rd
BFI London Film Festival 2019 which will be followed by the Asia Premiere at
MAMI 2019.
Axone- a bittersweet comedy satire follows
immigrants in Delhi who are attempting to organise a wedding party but soon
find everything going wrong. Written and Directed by Nicholas Kharkongor, the
film stars Sayani Gupta, Lin Laishram, Tenzin Dalha, Vinay Pathak, Dolly
Ahluwalia, in lead roles.
Sources shares, "This will be the first time
that Sayani will be seen portraying the role of a Nepali girl in the film. One
of the difficult things about this character was to adapt the Nepali accent and
language and Sayani left no stones unturned to get it right."
Sharing her excitement Sayani Gupta said, "It
is super exciting to have Axone premiering at two of BFI and Mami. I have a long
association of premiers at both these prestigious film festivals and feels like
Homecoming. Axone is a very special film and talks about inclusivity. It's
about a group of Northerner kids in Delhi who are trying to cook a special dish
with Axone for their friend's wedding and are faces with bizarre hilarious
ironical situations over the course of one day. It was particularly wonderful
to collaborate with such amazing actors and creative people from the North-East

food has become my favourite! Playing a Nepali girl from Manipur was
challenging because I had to get the accent, body language, tonality
correctly.I knew people would be looking
at me with extra care and I had to do justice to the authenticity of the part.
I have very close friends who speak Nepali and I had to justice to them as
well. I was super nervous but also worked extra hard to be as authentic tic as
possible. Also, my friends Cephas and my hairdresser Marya were my Nepali
coaches. It's a film thatNicholas made
with a great deal of love and honesty and we hope it reaches put to everyone
and people from the Northern part of our country who are never really
represented in our popular medium and cinema, get to watch it!"

Mrs. India Guyana Kristal Inshan is soon to
participate in the Mrs. India Worldwide beauty pageant at The Leela, Mumbai.
The event is about to witness the most beautiful and talented contestants from
over 40 countries, competing for the Miss and Mrs. India Worldwide titles,
judged by a celebrity panel of judges, with a host of guests expected from
Bollywood and Hollywood.
But Kristal is in news for something else this
week. She believes in doing more for charity than most beauty queens promise on
stage. Kristal not only enjoys spending holidays with friends and loved ones,
but makes it a point to make time for the less fortunate and make their
celebrations special too. Growing up with struggles of a poor life, she has
learned to smile and be kind hearted more than anything else.
Recently, when she was to celebrate her birthday,
her first thought was not to celebrate with a party or outing, but cook with
her mother's help for underprivileged children of a village next to her
hometown Georgetown in Guyana.
Her ideal great birthday was to share a
home-cooked meal with the children. "Bringing happiness to those who have
nothing makes my birthday that much more special," she says. A few days
after her birthday, she along with her mother decided to cook some of the best
of Indian dishes, after which they headed to a local orphanage to feed the underprivileged
once again.
While at the orphanage, she noticed that a teenage
girl didn't have proper eyeglasses. She took her to an eye doctor, and
purchased a pair of eyeglasses for her. That's not all! Every Christmas,
Kristal orders toys in bulk, and distributes them at a local village to give
each child a gift and let them know how special they are.
In the year 2015, something astonishing and
completely unexpected happened in the world of Indian basketball. 19-year-old
Satnam Singh Bhamra created history, becoming the first Indian to be selected

Excited for the film based on his life, Satnam
Singh shared, "It feels unreal that a film is being made on me! As a
sportsman, I have always loved films based on sports, and I feel honoured that
this film is my story. What excites me most is that this is a basketball film,
the first of its kind. I hope that the film will boost the game and more kids
will want to try it out. There is huge potential for the game to grow in India,
if only more people come out in support of it."

The original film will chronicle the arduous
journey of Satnam Singh who achieved every B-ball player’s ultimate dream but
is still to realise his full potential. While his name has already gone down in
the annals of Indian basketball, today, at the age of 24, after 15 years of
living and breathing the game, Satnam still cannot afford to slow down. He now
represents India in various tournaments around the world, he was a part of the
NBL (Canadian league) in the 2018-19 season, and now strives towards going from
strength to strength in this game that has become the cornerstone of his whole
life.
