Amy Jackson seems to be inspired by R Madhavan’s love for organic farming! The gorgeous actress, who is looking forward to her mega-venture 2.0 featuring megastar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, is the latest addition to the list of celebrities, who have taken up organic farming.Amy is looking to buy a huge plot of land in the London countryside, where she wants to grow her own vegetables and fruits. Incidentally, it was Amy's mother who motivated her to follow an organic diet.

She informs, “My mom swears by organic produce. I never thought I would do this, but now, I really want to eat and live healthy. I guess the saying, `You are what you eat', is right. I am looking forward to it.”

Amy Jackson to produce a short film for animal welfare

Be it raising her voice against cruelty towards animals or raising funds through an NGO for the betterment of animals, Amy Jackson has always supported animal welfare.Taking the noble cause to the next level, the gorgeous actress has now decided to co-produce and feature in short film with her friend creating awareness about cruelty to animals and how to prevent it.The actress will soon be meeting the government officials in India for the documentary’s sponsorship and plans to send the documentary to several film festivals.Amy says, “I am producing a short movie with my friend in London (UK). We’ve shot half of it. This cause is close to my heart and I am always up for animal welfare. I’m a public personality, and raising awareness is only a small contribution towards animal welfare. I have also applied to a few festivals and have approached the Indian government for help with this. A lot of ground work is required and I am doing it.”There is a need to stop cruelty against animals and love them — not abuse them. A lot of people are cruel to animals and I want to tell them that it’s fine if you can’t do anything for them, but don’t hurt them either,” she adds.

Amy Jackson embraces body flaws, flaunts them too

With Women’s Day just a week away, Amy Jackson decided to spring a surprise for the female populace by doing a photoshoot for a digital magazine with the theme, ‘embracing your flaws’. 

While the gorgeous actress has done lot of photo shoots, this one is close to her heart. She has always wanted to talk to young girls about accepting their bodies and not setting unrealistic standards of beauty. Keeping this in mind, Amy did this shoot for a digital magazine for Women’s Day (March 8). Though she has applied makeup on her face, Amy decided to go au naturel and flaunted her freckles in the close-up shot. 

Amy confirms, “It is really important for girls to accept their body, their flaws, and feel beautiful about it. Nowadays, there is immense pressure on us to look a certain way, and a lot of young girls are trying to achieve that. But I feel we should not be a part of this. I am glad and happy to do a shoot of this kind, and create awareness about this issue.”

Amy Jackson who did her schooling in London has requested her school management to hold a workshop where she could meet the students and speak about the importance of animal care.

The gorgeous actress has always supported the cause of animal welfare be it cruelty against them or raising funds through an NGO for the betterment of them.

If sources are to be believed, Amy wanted to be involved in some activity that helps creating awareness about protecting animals. She feels when actors discuss about issues like these, it creates more awareness and the initiatives are taken seriously.

Amy discussed this with her team in London and requested them to get in touch with her school management to hold a session where she will personally meet students and interact with them. She will also encourage them to adopt animals such as cats & dogs.

The talented actress feels people aren’t that aware about animal welfare and the well-being of animals. If need be, she will also work on methods to raise funds to take this ahead.

The gorgeous Amy Jackson is following in the footsteps of pop star Katy Perry and will soon launch her own line of fake lashes.

While Katy Perry launched her signature line of extension and color lashes in association with a cosmetic brand , Amy is working on this venture with a friend who also has a beauty background.Amy's signature line will have not just lash extensions but hair extensions as well as she personally enjoys experimenting with her looks.While extensions are a major rage in London, they are just about finding their time in the spotlight in metro cities in India and the actress is hoping to cash in on the trend.Details of the venture are under wraps for the moment but Amy will be back next month after setting up the UK branch of her label and fly down to India to replicate the business model by year-end.There are plans to launch the collection in major cosmetic departmental stores and high end salons.When contacted said Amy, "“Extensions are a rage in London but lashes and extensions have just begun to pique curiosity in Indian metros.
