4. She was a squash player during her school days

During her school days, Shweta was quite the athlete. The actress was a squash player and a very good one indeed! As she has often stated in the past that fitness has always played a big role in her life, it’s no wonder she played the sport even as a young adult.

Earlier talking about her first meeting with him, she had said, “We met because both of us were stepping in for other actors. So, from Bombay (Mumbai), we met in Delhi to perform and hardly spoke throughout. On our way back, we were seated next to each other. It was a 5 a.m. flight, so obviously the plan was to doze off. But we started talking and that was that.” They tied the knot in 2018 and the rest, they say, is history!

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri’s Amandeep Sidhu dons a new look for the celebration of Teej on the show

Ever since its first episode aired, Zee TV’s fiction show - Teri Meri Ikk Jindri has been successful in entertaining the masses through its unique love story of two starkly different personalities - Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) and Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan). Set against the backdrop of Amritsar, the makers have always aimed at showcasing an authentic flavour of the city and its culture via its characters, location, and storyline. Bringing in an additional Punjabi touch, in its upcoming episodes, viewers will witness Jogi and Mahi enjoying together while observing Teej, which is usually celebrated by young married women at their maternal homes during the monsoon season. While you'll see all the festivities and its fervour in its truest form, our very own Amritsari kudi, Mahi will also be seen in a fresh Punjabi look.

In the upcoming episodes of the show, Mahi will be seen cheerfully celebrating the festival with her family, letting go of all the differences that may be there between her and Pappu Ji. In fact, Mahi will take your breath away as she adorns a fresh new look, wearing a gorgeous green and red Sharara with matching ethnic accessories and the classic Punjabi Parandi hairdo for the very first time. Moreover, she will also be seen dancing away to an old Punjabi Teeyan folk song that was specially recreated by the makers, the  music director - Paresh Shah and sung by  Shree D to depict the authentic flavour and culture of the festival.

Talking about the sequence and her look for it, Amandeep Sidhu who plays the role of Mahi in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri revealed, “Teej is usually a very important festival celebrated on a grand scale by newly married women when they go back to their maternal home during the monsoon season. The celebrations are usually day long and everyone spends their time getting dressed, dancing to music or gorging on delicious sweets. While I have no personal experience, a few years ago, I had seen my cousin sister celebrating the festival with her family, so I knew all about it and the customs that are followed before we began shooting this sequence. That enabled me to guide the Teri Meri Ikk Jindri team about a few rituals and we have tried our level best to depict the festival in the most authentic manner. I must add that I really loved my look for this sequence, in fact, I was very excited because I finally got a chance to wear a parandi in my hair. We wanted to keep the look as genuine as possible without adding any modern touches to it and hence, our viewers will see me in a new look, and I am sure they are definitely going to love Mahi's new look. Honestly, we had a great time shooting together for Teej since it was the first time that the entire cast was reuniting in Mumbai, so the excitement brought in another flavour to the celebrations, and I really hope that our viewers will enjoy watching this episode. I would also like to take this opportunity and wish all the women a very Happy Teej!”

While we surely can’t wait to see Mahi celebrate the festival with her family, before that, viewers will see Mahi embark on a mission to free Jogi, who was arrested by the police after Pappu ji filed a complaint against him. Mahi also promises Jogi that he will sing at a Jagrata function like it was planned, but will Mahi be successful in her mission?

To know all this and more, tune intoTeri Meri Ikk Jindri every Monday to Saturday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV

Amandeep Sidhu styles her own look for Zee TV’s Teri Meri Ikk Jindri

Ever since its first episode aired, Zee TV’s show - Teri Meri Ikk Jindri has been successful in entertaining the masses through its unique love story of two starkly different personalities - Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) and Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan). Both the leads stars have been working hard to play their roles convincingly. While Amandeep has managed to portray Mahi’s nature accurately, she has also been focusing on building her character's style statement. In fact, she has been providing her personal inputs for her look time and again. After styling her second wedding look for the show partially, Amandeep decided to bring in a touch of elegance and chic for Mahi’s new look.

During the upcoming episodes of Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, Mahi will be seen entering the Mrs. Amritsar Contest and for a particular round, she will be seen gracefully walking the ramp while competing against her own sister. During the shoot, she wore an elegantly designed pure white, floral gown and the actress was extremely ecstatic to bring a fashionable twist to her appearance. Not only did she decide on her own makeup for the sequence, but she also gave her character a new hairdo.

Talking about shooting this sequence and styling her own look, Amandeep said, “During the Mrs. Amritsar Contest, Mahi has to compete in different rounds such as cooking, dancing and ramp walk. To be honest, I have never really walked the ramp before, so the whole experience was absolutely new and brought a fresh twist for my character. I also got into a different attire, and it was honestly a wonderful change because Mahi is usually seen in very simple and ethnic attires. But this time around, Mahi got a chance to wear a really pretty, white gown. It almost felt like I was attending a wedding in it because it had a completely different style and elegance. I also decided to style my hair into a bun rather than the usual straight and curly locks. I also did my own makeup and gave my own minimalistic yet elegant touch to the whole look. Everyone was really fascinated by the outcome, and this is one of Mahi's best looks according to me.”

She further added, “It was quite a lot of fun to get out of our daily comfort zone and try something new. I honestly find it quite enjoyable to do things which I have never done being Amandeep, be it cooking, dancing and several other things. The current track is really beautiful as Mahi will finally realize the love she has for Jogi, but will remain confused about her feelings. What happens next will surely keep the audience at the edge of their seats."

While Mahi puts on a glamorous look, will she win this competition against her own sister? Will Mahi be successful in all her endeavours? Or will there

Mika Singh reveals late Wajid’s unique way of teaching him to sing an Akshay Kumar song in tune

Zee TV has been a pioneer and a trend-setter in shaping television content over the past three decades and once again, it seems to be changing the face of music reality shows with its latest non-fiction property, the Indian Pro Music League (IPML). While the world of sports has seen several league competitions, this unique music league has six teams representing different regions of India, battling it out against each other in a musical championship. Each of these six teams supported by leading Bollywood and sports celebrities has top playback singers as their captains, one reality show star, one all-rounder and one fresh voice. After three exhilarating innings, the fourth innings begins this weekend with a super match between all six teams.

While the competition will heat up during the upcoming episode of Indian Pro Music League with all the teams putting their best foot forward, the Wajid Khan special will also have many light moments with all the stars sharing some heartwarming anecdotes about the late musician. In fact, Mika also shared one such wonderful memory of Wajid where he mentioned about the late singer’s unique way of teaching him to sing an Akshay Kumar song in sync with the tune.

During the shoot of the episode, Mika Singh made a surprising revelation about how Wajid taught him how to sing Akshay Kumar’s Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita perfectly in tune by dancing to the track. The Punjab Lions captain revealed, "We were recording the song ‘Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita’ and Wajid has his own style of composition. So, there was an antara and I wasn't able to sing 'Arey kya rang roop hai? Kya chaal dhaal hai? in sync.' I was getting stuck, but Wajid had a trick up his sleeve. Not many know, but he was a great dancer and he danced on the whole bit so that I could catch the tune and lyrics."

While this revelation would have left you surprised, wait till you see all the teams singing special Sajid Wajid songs during the episode. You also cannot miss the musical battle between Gujarat Rockers, Bengal Tigers, Delhi Jammers, Mumbai Warriors, UP Dabbangs and Punjab Lions as they go all out to win the fourth super match.

To witness such wonderful moments and some incredible performances, tune into the Indian Pro Music League, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV

Sridevi was inspiration of Apna Time Bhi Aayega’s actress Tannaz Irani

After spending over 30 years in an industry that is now like home to her, Tannaz Irani has become a well renowned name, who is known to glide effortlessly from one role to another and essay a diverse portfolio of characters across the film and television industry. With each role that came by,  Tannaz has improved and bettered herself! While she currently essays the role of Rajeshwari in Zee TV’s family drama Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Tannaz reveals how she has also faced some massive challenges, especially with the language barrier in the entertainment industry and how Sridevi was one of her biggest role models.

While her effortless and flawless performance might not give you a hint, but during the early days in her career, Tannaz faced the struggle of adapting to the Hindi language, especially the grammar and pronunciations. However, she did not let this impact her performance. Narrating her experience, Tannaz revealed, “My biggest professional struggle was with the Hindi language. Pretty early in my career, I accepted that I had a very unique way of speaking the language and that my passion and understanding of my characters was far more superior than someone just correcting my grammar. I got around this and accepted myself first, especially when I saw people who knew the language better than me but lacked a basic instinct of how a scene should be performed. After realising this, it felt like a miniscule struggle that I had to surpass”

Talking about how Sridevi inspired her, Tannaz mentioned, “I observed a very important thing. Till their very last roles, stars like Sridevi and Hema Malini also never really spoke Hindi eloquently, but they handled the scene with their talent. In fact, very early on in my career, I was influenced by Sridevi ji. I realised that she struggled with the language barrier as well, however, she executed all her roles with finesse and performed them carefree and with a lot of passion. She has always been my muse and I have always looked up to her, especially seeing how far she came. I feel she is probably the only woman in Bollywood who has been such a humungous superstar and It’s nice to be influenced by such people who have overcome so many hardships.”

Now that we know where Tannaz gets her inspiration from, we can surely expect her to spice up Rajeshwari’s role especially in the upcoming episodes of Apna Time Bhi Aayega, where she tries to hide an important piece of evidence from Rani. But what does this evidence lead to?

Apna Time Bhi Aayega’s Megha Ray takes a precautionary off from the shoot after her parents test positive for COVID-19

Zee TV's recently launched fiction drama - Apna Time Bhi Aayega follows the inspirational narrative of Rani - the young daughter of a head staff member of an affluent family of Jaipur. Refusing to be tied down by her humble roots, Rani wants to break free from the shackles of her background to carve her own destiny. While the show has kept the audience entertained, Megha Ray who plays the role of Rani has not only impressed the viewers, but also inspired them. The actress has been shooting round the clock since she entered the show, however, looks like the viewers might see her on the show lesser than before. This is because the actress' parents have tested positive for COVID-19 and she is not only quarantining herself, but also taking care of them in this crucial battle against the virus.

Megha Ray actually stopped shooting from 31st March after coming to know about her parents' test results. While Megha also felt unwell, her test reports for COVID-19 are currently negative. Despite that, the actress decided to take precautionary measures by taking some time off from the shoot of Apna Time Bhi Aayega and quarantining herself at her house as she did display some symptoms of the infection. She also wanted to take care of her parents, whoare COVID positive. With support from her whole Apna Time Bhi Aayega team, she is helping her parents recuperate, while focusing on her health too.

As Megha Ray shared, “It’s been two weeks since my father tested positive for Covid-19 and while he had immediately self-isolated himself, my mother also tested positive for Covid-19 post Holi. I don’t know how they got infected as they don’t step out at all. On the other hand, I have been shooting for Apna Bhi Time Aayega and while I had fever along with cough and was feeling weak, my test results are currently negative. Actually, when I did my test initially, the first two reports came positive, however, the third version came out negative. We all were confused, so after consulting with my doctor, I got a CT scan done that revealed that my lungs have become congested which is consistent with people who have COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure and in the light of the safety of everyone else on the set as well as for my family, all of us are under home quarantine. I am also helping my parents recuperate. In fact, my father’s fever has subsided now, and I only have cough. However, my mother has high fever, back pain and weakness."

The actress further added, “We are resting as much as possible. After going through all this, I've realised that we definitely can’t take virus lightly. The persistent fever and body weakness is scary. But all we can do is take proper medications, stay positive and calm headed. I want to request all our fans to stay safe and indoors unless absolutely necessary. Everyone should wear masks whenever they step out, maintain social distance and wash their hands at regular intervals.”

In the meantime, while Megha recovers from her symptoms, viewers will see Rani being kidnapped by someone. On the other hand, Vikram (Pulkit Bhagia) and Kiara (Priyal Shah) have married each other accidentally and are now, trying to hide their marriage certificate from everyone in the family. In fact, Vikram has also started developing feelings for Kiara, but has she fallen in love with him as well?

Mahi to face the biggest Agni-pareeksha in Zee TV’s Teri Meri Ikk Jindri

Zee TV recently introduced its new show, a unique love story of opposites Teri Meri Ikk Jindri that traces the love story and journey of Mahi and Jogi, who despite their starkly different personalitiesand outlook towards life, choose to walk together on the common path of love. Featuring television actress Amandeep Sidhu opposite popular television actor Adhvik Mahajan, the show has been receiving immense amount of love from all. The current track  in particular where Mahi was all set to happily wed Arjun (Akash Mansukhani), the perfect match found by her family definitely got viewers curious to know what would unravel between Jogi and Mahi. However, before unveiling their story, the makers have brought in a new twist where a daughter (Mahi) will be seen facing an Agni-pareeksha to fight for her innocence against her very own family.

It’s been nothing short of a tough journey for Mahi who has been crossing several hurdles the biggest being, an MMS that was shared of her and Jogi by Gulshan (Manish Verma). Just when Mahi wished to inform her family about them being framed, her worst fear came to life when her and Jogi’s videos were played at a wedding leaving her entire family stunned and ashamed of her behaviour.  While Jogi has been fighting for his innocence in a police station after being brutally beaten up, Mahi will now be facing the biggest agni-pareeksha against her own family where-in she would have just 24 hours to prove Gulshan guilty and herself innocent.

Speaking about this track, Amandeep said, “This is the most important and in fact, one of the proudest and biggest highlights of Mahi’s life. Never has it been that we have seen a daughter having to prove herself to her own family, but the upcoming track is definitely going to keep viewers hooked and captivated to know what unveils in her life. While we usually have lot of fun shooting on the sets, the particular sequence was pretty intense, and I had to really put myself in Mahi’s shoes to feel that determination and aggression to prove her worth. At a point of time the tears were actually real and despite the scenes being mentally tiring, I have really loved shooting the sequence. It’s like Mahi’s fight was like my own and I can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction to it.”

While Mahi has put forth a 24-hr challenge in front of her family, will she truly be able to prove her innocence? With Pappu ji (Manoj Chandila) constantly planning and plotting chaos in her life, will Gulshan get away this time too? Most importantly what will happen when Roopa and Bishno realize that Mahi is responsible for what happened to Jogi?

“Just like Rani, I wanted to be a mechanical engineer, but I was told that it is something a girl should not pursue” says Megha Ray

Zee TV introduced a new fiction show -Apna Time Bhi Aayega, whichfollows the inspirational narrative of Rani, the young daughter of a head staff member of an affluent family of Jaipur. Refusing to be tied down by her humble roots, Rani wants to break free from the shackles of her background to carve her own destiny. Brilliantly essayed by television actress Megha Ray, Rani’s story and life struggle is not very different from Megha’s herself.

Similar to her on-screen character Megha Ray too, is an opinionated and outspoken woman who just like her character, wished to pursue mechanical engineering long before stepping into the world of modelling and acting. However, this phase did not pass without overcoming gender challenges brought in by the society. While Megha has not been a victim to something extremely discriminative, she does believe that people make strong assumptions of what women can and cannot do.

Sharing her experience, Megha said, “Just like Rani, I wanted to become a mechanical engineer. At that time, I was often told that it’s not something a girl should pursue because it requires a lot of manual work. Women are assumed to be physically weaker in consideration to men and while I may not completely disagree with that, I don’t think this thought really applied here. What really matters is how well do you think yourself capable of being something and be willing to chase it strong enough. Both the genders have their differences but that shouldn’t stop us, we can all pursue what we want freely!”

Well, Megha’s determination and words of wisdom are surely an inspiration for many women around but will Rani also manage to inspire her fans? Fighting to free her innocent father from a wrongly accused sin, will Rani manage to prove her worth to everyone and to Rajeshwari especially?

Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega bids adieu after a successful 2-year long run

Zee TV’s popular fiction show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, has received immense love from the audience courtesy its consistent unique and intriguing storyline. From entertaining the viewers with its unique and never-seen-before concept revolving around the country’s youngest Saas, younger than the bahus of the household, to introducing a
20-year leap that depicted the ups and downs in Choti Guddan’s life, the show has been well appreciated by the audience. While Akshat (Nishant singh Malkhani) and Guddan’s (Kanika Mann) stunning chemistry became the talk of telly town and was loved by the viewers, Agastya (Savi Thakur) and Choti Guddan’s (Kanika Mann) fresh and innocent love story also soon found a place in the audience’s heart after the leap. Having intrigued and entertained the viewers with interesting stories for nearly 2 years, the show is  now all set bid adieu and will be replaced by Zee TV’s new fiction property Teri Meri Ikk Jindri which will air at 8pm, every Monday to Saturday on Zee TV.

During the period of two years, the show welcomed many interesting and well-defined characters that were convincingly played by some very talented actors like Kanika Mann Nishat Singh Malkani, Savi Thakur, Maera Mishra, Pratham Kunwar, Rashmi Gupta and many more. Wrapping up memories and moments of nearly 2 years, the entire cast and crew bid a heartfelt farewell to each other as the commemorated the moment by cutting a cake on the set while wiping away tears of joy.

Sharing her moment and expressing her thoughts, Kanika Mann shared, “I got to know about it(show going off air) on December 31 and thought to myself, what a day to learn that your debut show is wrapping up. At first, I was shocked, but I comforted myself by thinking that the New Year will mark new beginnings for me. I stayed positive. However, I could not hold back my tears while shooting the last scene. I just couldn’t muster the courage to speak those lines. That’s when it really started sinking in and I felt like something was drifting away from me. Whatever I am today is because of this show. I was new in the industry. Along with Guddan, who evolved from a jhalli ladki to a mother, I, too, grew as a person and an artiste. ‘Guddan’ is my baby. I am so attached to it that I don’t know how long the feeling will last. However, I would like to thank the audience for being our pillars of support and strength. Love you all”

Adding on actor Savi Thakur mentioned, “The news was shocking at first and of course I really do wish that there was more of Agastya that could have been explored as a part of this show. I am extremely sad hearing the news but having said that, I believe that certain good things end only for better things to take their place. I feel blessed to have been a part of a show with such an out-of-the-box concept and it goes without saying that I am going to miss this show terribly. Now that the show is coming to an end, I cannot help but say, all's well that ends well. I just want to thank all the people involved with this show and more importantly, to all our viewers for constantly loving and supporting us in this journey.”

New Year Quotes from Zee TV Actors

Megha Ray who plays the role of Rani in Apna Time BhiAayega shared,“2020 has honestly been a year of mixed feelings for me. While the whole pandemic affected a lot of people, it was also the year when my first show went off air. Looking at the struggles of many other I kept myself together believing that my struggles are not that big, and I would make it through. And I did! Despite it all, this year also got me a role in a beautiful show like Apna Time BhiAayega. Rani is a very different character and she brings out the little innocent yet strong-willed child within me. While I had my fair share of struggles, this is the best thing that has happened this year and I am eagerly looking forward to 2021. While I don’t really make any resolutions, I do wish to continue working hard and entertaining my audiences. I hope it’s a better year for everyone and we can finally be free of COVID

Pratham Kunwar who plays the role of Money Birla in GuddanTumse Na Ho Payega shared, “I believe the biggest lesson that 2021 has given us is that we need very little to be happy in life. We made the most out of this year and happened to find our joys in the simplest things despite not being able to go out or party like usual. In spite of the entire lockdown and with several people losing jobs, I happened to get 2 new shows, GuddanTumse Na Ho Payega being one of them. That’s the best thing and the first day of my shoot was the best memory I have of 2020. With the onset of the new year, I would really like to focus a lot on my health and gun for those six pack abs that I have always aspired for. Here’s hoping that everyone has a safe, sound and a great new year.”

Adhvik Mahajan who will play the role of Joginder in Teri Meri IkJindri shared, “While this year may have been a pretty rough one for a lot of people, it was quite a productive year for me. I happened to get my first ever short film rolling and it got a great response from the audience, friends and family. I happened to get some time in hand to devote to my health and fitness which I have been wanting to do for a while now. I also bagged my role in the show Teri Meri IkJindri this year and in 2021 I just hope the audience showers all their blessings and love towards the show. I would be ending this year and making a fresh start to 2021 at Tirupati Balaji and with God’s blessings I pray that the new year brings an abundance of opportunities and happiness for each and every person who has dealt with a rough phase.

Kanika Mann who plays the role of Guddan in GuddanTumse Na Ho Payega shared, “I have always believed in beginning the New Year with a fresh mind and a lot of optimism. There is no better way to begin the year with a little detour from my routine life, I will be travelling for 2 days to visit my extended family in my hometown Panipat. While my mother and my brother reside with me in Mumbai, I haven’t had a chance to meet my dad since the lockdown reopened or connect with my cousins and other relatives. Every occasion and festival celebrated with them has till date been a memorable one and nothing excites me more than to start a new chapter amidst the presence of my family. I am very excited for this trip and I really look forward to having the happiness and fun as I did during the lockdown.”

Chetan Hansraj who plays the  titular role in Brahmarakshas 2 shared, “Well, 2020 has been a tough year for a lot of us, but it has honestly taught me to not complain and be grateful for what we have. Something within me keep telling me that all these struggles are what actually make a man. I chose to brush past all these negative feelings and used my time to learn a few things in life. I learnt three to four computer languages, C++, Java script, Python and also utilized my time doing a course in Data Science. I ensured to stay positive even when I was dealing with a financially difficult time and didn’t have a job almost till September. I believe its was my positivity that really got me a great role in Brahmarakshas2 thereafter.  If there is one thing that I have learnt is that the power to control your feelings and thoughts is within oneself. I look forward to 2021.

MugdhaChapekar who plays the role of Prachi in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya mentioned, "New Year to me is more about spending time with the family, eating good food and watching some amazing movies! This year has been quite a ride for everyone, and I hope the new year brings in joy and health and happiness in everyone’s lives. Wishing everyone a very Happy new Year!"

Pooja Banerjee who plays the role of Rhea in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya said, “I have extremely fond memories of New Year. I have always visited the Church on New Year’s Eve and I used to be a part of the church choir for the tradition of singing carols and I thoroughly enjoyed it. New Year has been a festival very close to my heart. This year, along with celebrating the festival with my Kumkum Bhagya co-stars, I plan to decorate my house to keep the spirit of the festivities alive. While I do not have travel plans this year, I do plan to host a small humble dinner party for my close friends. I hope the festivities bring light and happiness to everyone’s lives. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year."

Chetan Hansraj and Rupa Divetia reunite on the sets of Zee TV’s Brahmarakshas 2 after 16 years

Zee TV has been captivating its audience with interesting and out-of-the box stories that capture the pulse of the Indian middleclass. Amongst the various intriguing stories introduced by the channel, Zee TV introduced the second season of its immensely successful weekend thriller, Brahmarakshas. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show features television actress Nikki Sharma essaying the lead character of Kalindi opposite popular actor Pearl V. Puri playing the role of Anga

Having made quite an intriguing start, the show recently unveiled the true identity and the human form that the Brahmarakshas assumes. Essayed by popular television actor Chetan Hansraj, the Brahmarkashas has been seen planning and plotting evil against Kalindi with the help of Gehna (Rupa Divetia) who is seen indulging in various Tantra-Mantras to keep the powers of the Brahmarakshas alive. As close as the characters seem on-screen, Rupa and Chetan share a much deeper and fonder bond off-screen. The duo go back a long way when they used to shoot together in 2004 for another show and have now reunited on the sets of Brahmarakshas 2 after almost 16 years. While shooting for scenes together, Rupa and Chetan have quite a gala time recollecting some nostalgic and fond memories from several years ago.

Chetan Hansraj shared, “I worked with Rupa ji in my very first show. We are actually reuniting on the set of Brahmarkashas 2 after that and it is an absolutely great feeling. I would say it’s more of a coming of age feeling. I have done several shows with Balaji now, that I often see so many people, from the actors to even the spot dadas and cameramen who were a part of my earlier shows. It’s almost like a blast from the past! It is such an honour to be working with Rupa ji again”

Adding further Rupa Divetia shared, “It is always an exciting experience working with Chetan, more so now because we are getting a chance to work after so many years together. Chetan started his career as a kid with me and that time he was a very young boy back and now he has become a really matured actor. it was absolute delight to reconnect with him on the sets of Brahmarakshas 2.

While Rupa and Chetan spend some time reviving some of the golden memories together, the duo as a part of their characters are set to plan something really evil in Kalindi and Angad’s life.

Sony Entertainment Television’s India’s Best Dancer is ranked among the most talked-shows on television for its power-packed content and unique talent. This weekend, the show extends a warm welcome to the dance gurus and content creators - Remo D’Souza, Salman Yusuff Khan, Punit J Pathak, Sushant Pujari, Rahul Shetty and Abhinav Shekhar, who have brought a new wave of dance and inspired many people. This weekend, the audience will witness the judges’ challenge set by Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis & Malaika Arora, and dance battle between contestants, along with many dance moments and fun banter by the hosts.

The competition is getting tougher and the appeal for the audience to vote for their favourite contestants has begun. All contestants are working hard to bring something new to the stage each week to be able to win the coveted trophy of India’s Best Dancer. This weekend, as per the Judge’s call, the choreographers have taken a backseat as the contestants get paired with each other.

Contestants Shweta Warrier, Mukul Gain and Paramdeep Singh performed together as a trio on the song – ‘Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai’ and presented one of the best acts of the show. For the first time, all three judges stood up in between the act and cheered for them as the act was spellbinding and the judges were left speechless.

Geeta Kapur said, “Every moment of your act was outstanding, well thought of and you guys did it so beautifully. It is not easy to perform in a trio; you must justify each person and you three did a fantastic job.” Malaika Arora said, “I don’t have words to say to you guys. You guys have justified judges’ challenge truly and have blown my mind, you performed without props, and there was nothing but pure dance. Brilliant! How did you guys manage to show chemistry between three people, how? Mukul Gain is already a finalist and I think the rest two, Shweta and Paramdeep, should fill the spots.” Malaika further added, “I feel so proud that Shweta is a part of this show”.

Guest Remo D’Souza said, “All the comments from the judges are absolutely correct. I loved the performance. Firstly, Choreographers, outstanding job. As a choreographer myself, I am saying that whenever I see these choreographers do such amazing work, I get jealous of the fact that why couldn’t I think of something like that. Shweta, you are fantastic.” Remo also did his iconic gesture and said, “This is it!” Everyone on the show was so impressed with this act that Geeta Kapur suggested an impromptu performance between Shweta and the guests Salman and Punit on the same track - ‘Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai’. The act was magical and as Malaika called it ‘Unreal’. Last but not the least, all the three judges – Geeta Kapur, Malaika Arora & Terence Lewis along with the guests Remo & and his entire team performed on ‘Disco Deewan’ and did the famous hook step.
