Huma Qureshi & Saqib Saleem walk the ramp together for the first time

The stunning Huma Qureshi has been a fashion showstopper on several occasions , however, her show for designer Anvita Sharma, at the Lakme Fashion Week, promises to be extra special.

Huma will be walking the ramp with her brother , actor Saqib Saleem, for Anvita's brand Two Point Two, a collection that showcases her designs for both men and women.

This will also be the first time Huma & Saqib will be walking together for a fashion show. The two turn showstoppers on the 24th August for

Two Point Two, that classifies as an ‘agender’ brand, which simply means that their designs are for everyone.

Adds Saqib, " I've known Anvita for 10-11 years now since college and infact she is a close friend. Huma and I are really excited to walk for Two Point Two as the brand is all about individuality.The collection this year is really interesting."

Huma said  , " I love Anvita's work . She is truly a unique voice emerging in fashion . I am really looking forward to the show as the brand's silhouettes Colors and details apply to both genders.

Nutrition brand approaches Huma Quresh

Huma Qureshi who shut body shamers like a boss, is now inspiring her fans and millions of women ,to get strong and healthy over social media.The actress who strongly believes that the weighing scale is not a yardstick for someone's self worth is now inspiring women and leading with example ! 

Huma is back with new zeal and hitting the gym with a vengeance as she takes up a 28- Day detox programme, the star has been posting pictures of her detox cleanse diet over her social media platforms that include organic, wholesome food and completely excluding soda,gluten,alcohol and processed food.​​

The actress who has got extremely popular over social media has now been approached by a nutrition brand to be the face of a detox range of products - Says a source, " Huma's detox updates on social media are a complete hit and it caught the attention of a nutrition brand who are soon to launch a range of detox products - They felt Huma would be the perfect face for it considering she has been motivating so many women over social media to eat clean and get fit".

Huma Qureshi visited the Google HQ in New York

Huma Qureshi recently made her big international debut with Gurinder Chadha's Viceroy's House.The large-canvas film of epic proportion , that released in the UK on the 3rd March, premiered at the Berlinale 2017 with much praise for the gorgeous actress and ever since she has been a subject of heated discussion in London. 

Apart from being signed by international management agency ,Troika, who also handle Hollywood star Michael Fassbender, Huma  is being celebrated in London with her posters splashed across every metro and hoarding that matters . 

While she recently attended the Empire Awards, she was the first Indian actress to visit the Facebook headquarters and is fast becoming a major youth influencer - testimony of which is the fact that she was recently been invited by Google to visit their office in New York. 

Says a source, " Huma is extremely popular in London and with Viceroy's House has now been introduced to several international territories. The youth not only look upto to her but also relate to her and she was zeroed in as one of the key young influencers by Google. They reached out to her to earlier this month, she took sometime out from her schedule to visit their office in NY and interact with their team."

Huma Qureshi turns speaker for UN Women

It was only a few years ago that the United Nations General Assembly created UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.Headquartered at the United Nations in New York, UN Women promotes women’s empowerment, rights and gender equality globally.Our very own Huma Qureshi ,who shares the same passion for this endeavor will today visit their HQ in New York to discuss the changing role of women in Indian films and their representation in the media. Huma was selected as a young influencer to speak on the subject for constantly challenging stereotypes and silencing skeptics.With this Huma joins names like Megan Fontanello among other female trailblazers who are an inspiration to young women across the world. 

The actress is in the best phase of her career with the stupendous success of Jolly LLB 2 and the rave reviews coming her way for her international film, Viceroy's House. She was recently celebrated in London and was a head turner at the London Fashion Week and the Empire Awards.

Huma Qureshi shoots at the same location as Game of Thrones & Star Wars

Huma Qureshi ,who is currently shooting in the Eastern European country of Croatia, is literally living out a dream in the picturesque location .

The actress who is shooting for a Delhi based cosmetic brand(Blue heaven) in Croatia ,shot at the old town in Dubrovnik and at Rector's Palace where fantasy show Game of Thrones was also filmed.

If that wasn't all, Huma also got the opportunity to film at the main street of Stradun , which was blocked entirely to shoot the upcoming Star Wars film.
