Sharad Kelkar is all set to add another feather to his cap, as he will be collaborating with ace cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan for his next.
If sources are to be believed, Sharad, who won huge critical acclaim for his stupendous performance in the Telugu blockbuster, Sardar Gabbar Singh and also appreciated for his impactful roles in movies including Rocky Handsome, Hero, Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela and 1920: Evil Returns, has teamed up with Santosh Sivan for his next international project.
A source informs, “It’s a feature film directed by Santosh Sivan which Sharad has already started shooting in Mumbai’s Madh Island.” Without revealing much about the project, the source adds, “Sharad plays a very interesting character in the movie which is a hard hitting dark humour in genre. He is also quite excited about working with Santosh for the first time.”
Having won several National awards for Best Cinematography, Santosh is best known for his works as an ace cinematographer in movies including Roja, Kalapani, Dil Se, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and have directed the Shah Rukh
Sharad says, "I'm a huge fan of Santosh Sivan and a close observer of his work since many years. He is a magician,It's an honour working with such a great cinematographer and director and I'm sure it's going to be a good learning exercise."
