GlitzCinemas to expand its footprint with 28 new screens across 9 locations by March2013

StargazeEntertainment, a leading film exhibition company operatingchain of multiplexes under its brand ‘Glitz Cinemas’ in emerging cities of India;plans to add 28 new screens by end of March 2013 as a part of its expansionplans. The company currently operates 22 screens across 8 locations. With atotal investment of 75 crores, Stargaze will stand at 50 screens across 17locations, covering almost 350,000 sq. feet of retail mall space and reaching 5million captive customers. With this plan, Stargaze will also become the“Fastest Growing Chain of Multiplexes in Emerging India”.
Glitz Cinemas are equipped with stateof the art sound and projection facilities and offer differentiated servicesincluding – Glitz Max, Glitz Lounge and Glitz 3D. Glitz Max offers a largerthan life viewing on screen larger than 50 feet; Glitz Lounge offers theubiquitous Gold Class experience with flat-bed recliners & personalizedservice; and Glitz 3D offers an unmatched 3D movie-viewing experience.

YASH RAJ FILMS LAUNCHES “YRF ENTERTAINMENT”

Uday Chopra has announced the formation of YRF Entertainment, a Hollywood-based production and financing company focused on developing and producing feature films for the U.S. and international marketplace. The company is launched and funded by Yash Raj Films, (yashrajfilms.com) the 41-year old studio that was founded by Yash Chopra, and continues to be one of India’s most prolific film producers and distributors. Uday Chopra will serve as CEO of YRF Entertainment and has hired Jonathan Reiman to head development and production under him.

Uday Chopra commented, “My family has a deep commitment to making and distributing quality films that entertain and enlighten audiences. I share that passion, as well as a love for American films that I have had since childhood. It is that enthusiasm and my love of the creative process of filmmaking that drove me to start this new venture.”
YRF Entertainment (yrfentertainment.com) is currently producing and financing “The Longest Week,” which began shooting last week in New York City. Written and directed by Peter Glanz, the movie stars Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde, and Billy Crudup. Uday Chopra is producing with Neda Armian. Exec Producers are, Jonathan Reiman, Chris Marsh, Stone Douglass, Taylor Materne.
The comedy tells the story of a bratty “man-child” (Bateman) who still lives with his parents in a chic Manhattan hotel but suddenly finds himself evicted, disinherited and hopelessly in love with his best friend’s heartthrob (Wilde).
Uday tracked down the project after the original financier had to abandon the film and immediately fell in love with the material. He quickly arranged a creative and physical production meeting with Glanz and Armian in Mumbai. After the lengthy meeting, he committed to making the movie, with his business and legal team closing the deal in less than two weeks.
YRF Entertainment is also building a slate of projects that it will actively develop and produce from the ground up. The first project the company will develop is an untitled action/comedy by Dan Ewen (“Opposites Attract”) about two twenty-something’s who run away from their podunk towns to pursue big dreams and become an unlikely but seemingly unstoppable duo after meeting serendipitously.

The 'GHOST' story- The Past Never Dies, It Kills

City Hospital witnesses a chain of blood curdling spine chilling murders. A beautiful young recruit Dr. Suhani (Sayali Bhagat) is faced with uncanny happenings at the hospital. She is stunned by the monstrous force that sweeps out of the night to cause a trail of gruesome killings. What or who is responsible for this strange murderous destruction? The murderer uses a unique methodology, leaving behind no trails, defying all human comprehension. 

 A leading investigating agency entrusted with the case, assign it to their most competent officer Vijay Singh (Shiney Ahuja). Vijay a debonair romantic young detective moves intelligently to gather information about the mysterious murders. Among the first he questions is Dr.Suhani. There is immediate chemistry between the two.

The culprit moves again and we witness more horrifying brutal killings. Success eludes Vijay but he gets passionately involved in the case treating it as his personal war against the slaughterer.

What follows is an exciting path of love, intrigue, passion, deceit, revenge and nerve wrecking treachery.

Finally, God proposes and evil disposes.

Sanjay Dutt  unveiled the Audio of writer ,Director and producer  Puja Jatinder Bedi’s Film ''GHOST”  Music by Sharib Toshi who gave an outstanding live performance and Sayali Bhagat who looked gorgeous in a silver grey outfit gave a surprising performance wherein she sang the favourite  song from her film ,her singing side came as a surprise Shiney Ahuja said he was glad the film was getting a good response and sudhir mishra his mentor also dropped by for him Music Directors- Sharib & Toshi, Singer Javed Ali  Producer Bharat Shah of the film came in with Sanjay Dutt on dot time Sanjay Dutt enjoyed the visuals of the film and CONFESSED THAT HE IS SCARED OF GHOSTS Bharat Shah is his close friend and sanjay mentioned that he had to make it for him and puja he found the cake interesting and said he was scared while cutting a cake Sandip Soparkar has turned an item boy in the film and chorographed a song it was a great evening as sharib toshi pulled in shiney ,puja ,bharat shah to shake a leg on the stage which all gladly did Sayali personally looked after her guests Puja got an overwhelming response of the film It was a fantastic evening

Further, Excel Entertainment is the bona-fide author and owner of copyright ofthe Films “Don – The Chase Begins Again” (i.e. Don 1), which has been confirmedby Nariman Films in writing. Excel is also the owner of the copyrights of Don2. In 2005, Nariman Films has given rights to Excel Entertainment, inperpetuity, for making “Don – The Chase Begins Again”. Don 2 is a sequel of“Don – The Chase Begins Again” alongwith the ownership to the underlying worktherein. The entire story and dialogue of Don – 2 has been prepared by Farhanand the other team members of Excel Entertainment. The title of Don 2 has beenapproved by AMPTPP in favour of Excel Entertainment.
