Knot bound by music

It is already being much-talked about for its breezy, romantic comedy and its exotic beach locations including Dubai and Bangkok. So it was not surprising that the music launch and the First Look unveiling of Ikkon Films’ latest film, Will You Marry Me?, was held next to Mumbai’s iconic Juhu beach at JW Marriott.
Krishan Chaudhery and Vipin Jain of Ikkon Films and Narendra Singh of Filmy Box Music looked visibly pleased as a number of Bollywood celebs turned up to cheer them and get a feel of the film. Seen mingling with the celebs was director Aditya V Datt, the cast of Will You Marry Me including Shreyas Talpade, Mugda Godse, Muzammil Ibrahim along with music directors Sharib-Toshi and Sachin Gupta and others like Puneet Issar with son Siddhant, Arya Babbar, Hanif Hilal, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Jayant Gilatar, TP Agarwal, Anil Nagrath, Manoj Joshi, Nilanjana Singh, Tripoor Singh, Aman Verma and more.
“Will You Marry Me has been one the most memorable experiences I've had making a film. We have five different music directors who have all done an amazing job. I just hope the audiences enjoy the soundtrack just as much as we've enjoyed making it,” said director Aditya V Datt, talking about the music of the film.
“The essence of a film lies in its story, taut screenplay and treatment. Aditya has done a splendid job as a director and that is evident from the freshness of the film. We wanted the same freshness in the music,” avered producer Krishan Chaudhery.
“We have ensured that the film has the right production values. I am sure, this will percolate to the audiences,” enthused Bipin Shah.
Will You Marry Me? is a youthful story of three friends, Aarav (Shreyas Talpade), Rajveer (Rajeev Khandelwal), and Nikhil (Muzamil Ibrahim). All three boys have one thing in common; their love for their bachelorhood. They place a bet amongst themselves that whoever decides to marry first will lose a huge amount in shares held by them and their gang of friends. A few years later; Nikhil decides to marry the love of his life, Anjali (Tripta Prashar).
Rajveer and Aarav cannot believe that their best friend is getting married. However they put on a smile to attend his beach wedding in Dubai. During the wedding festivities, Rajveer and Aarav coincidentally fall for the bride’s best friend, Sneha (Mugdha Godse). To make matters worse in this love triangle, Nikhil is kidnapped by a powerful business tycoon (Paresh Rawal). From this point, everything goes haywire at the wedding celebrations, leading to hilarious situations. The film seems set to bring back the good old, clean romantic comedies back to the silver screen.

Priyamani blames media for creating‘fake scandal’ with Sachiin Joshi!

Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) brand ambassador and Southernactress Priyamani is furious with a section of the Hyderabad media for creatinga ‘fabricated scandal’ between her and Aazaan actor Sachiin Joshi. This week, apublication incorrectly reported that Sachiin teased Priyamani in “allegedly inebriated” state at a party after a match.
The Hyderabadpublicaton had ‘insisted’ that he tried to “hold her hand” and “hug”Priyamani, rubbing the damsel’s “ego” the wrong way at a CCL after-party. WhileSachiin’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar as well as Priyamani’s mother denied the incident, the paper still went ahead and printed the incorrect story.
This has infuriated the actress, who says, “We (Priyamaniand Sachiin) were just unwinding after the matches. I don't understand why astory like this has been circulated. All it does is harm Sachiin and myreputations.”
“I know Sachiin as I was introduced to him at the party. Iknow several of his teammates as I was involved with the tournament last year.We exchanged pleasantries and that’s all,” she explains.
Apparently, there’s more to this than meets the eye. It islearnt that even a Mumbai tabloid journalist from the same publication’s grouphas been pestering Priyamani almost forcing her confess that she was troubledby Sachiin.
Though the actress is said to have sternly asked thejournalist not to harass her with fake stories, he is adamant he will go aheadand publish a story to the effect. “Such kind of unethical threateningjournalism could be dangerous to the fabric of society,” feel the actresses’well-wishers, who are helpless about their idol being targeted by none otherthan the media.
Meanwhile, a miffed Priyamani is learnt to be planning to fly down to Mumbai and hold a joint press conference with Sachiin Joshi to bring out the truth and expose the wrong doers.
