Milkha Singh today gave a special memento to Farhan Akhtar, along with Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Vikram Malhotra in Chandigarh on a racing track.
Last week producers Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Vikram Malhotra purchased the shoe at the auction for a whopping 24 Lacs.
Milkha Singh had worn these winning shoes for the Olympics in Rome.
To mark the start of the project, Milkha Singh was keen to hand over the shoes to Farhan Akhtar.
Prasoon Joshi and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra have written the script. Its their attempt to salute a huge sportsman, hero of India.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag one of the most talked about films will go on floor this February.

First look of item number Lavnani dance of Vidya Balan

Vinod Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar (director) of Ferrari Ki Sawaari were absolutely clear that they didn't want any bollywood steps in their Lavnani song.
So while they were in conversation with all the top choreographers from our industry they decided to import real Lavnani dancers from Kolhapur to come to Mumbai and teach Vidya Balan the steps.
An entire troupe of Lavnani dancers from Kolhapur, who have been custodians of the art form and keeping the culture alive by passing it from generation to generation were housed here in Mumbai for almost 3 weeks.
Vidya Balan and all other dancers were taken through body language and most importantly the face expressions as authentic Lavani is a mixture of dance and face expression.
Shot over three days the troupe was most excited seeing Vidya Balan transform herself into a true Lavnani dancer.
