Following praise, she turned showstopper for Rocky, settingthe ramp on fire at the Lakme Fashion Week! Some time later, she caught glancesfrom the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, Madhur Bhandarkar and hostSohail Khan at the Provogue Royalty Fashion Nights launch.

And now, the latest is that RockyS has signed the girl up as the face of his campaign Vilasa. Here, Evelyn sportsa lot of Indian attires. Though most foreigners are knownto go wrong with ethnic outfits, surprisingly, the newbie is said to have takento them, like fish to water! In the film M.L.A- An Inside Intruder I was beaten in real’

Omkas Das Manikpurihad started acting in the local art form of Folk Theatre called Nacha at a veryyoung age. A singer, performer, dancer and mimicker he would often perform inopen air or makeshift theater platform. Later he joined the Naya Theatre of HabibTanvir in Bhopal, wherein he performed in plays like Agra Bazaar, Charandas Chor, Kamdev ka Apna basant Ritu Ka Sapnaand Sadak on national andinternational platforms. It was the play CharandasChor that got him the role of famous Natha in Peepli Live. Now he will beseen as Shankar in Shiv Dube directed film ‘M.L.A. - An Inside Intruder’releasing on 25th May 2012. Story of the Film MLA- An Inside Intruder isplaced in a village called Bhaglipur in Madhya Pradesh, where one Industrialistfrom the same village is trying to generate employment by starting a MilkFactory for his people. To encash on the industrialist’s goodwill with localsthe sitting MLA of the district befriends him.

Q- 1 What is yourcharacter in ‘M.L.A. - An Inside Intruder’?
Omkar: In this filmthe character played by me is Shankar. Shankar is a farmer and stays in villagecalled Bhaglipur in Madhya Pradesh. When he realizes that the local MLA isnot doing anything for the villagers, he decides to bring in a change. Hestarts speaking to villagers and inspiring them to choose another candidate. Heis the turning point of the film. My character is the one time Leader who evendoes election campaign and gives speech.
Q- 2 Anythingdifferent from your last film and in MLA ?
Omkar : Yes, when yousee the film then you will find out the difference. One thing is similarin Peepli Live and MLA is that, I am a Villager. In real life too, Iam a simple small town Indian at heart. But in this film people will also getto see my Acting and dialogues delivery. In my last film I was not acting toomuch because there my character was silent and in shock. But here I am a leaderwho spreads awareness in village to take action against corruption and MLA..After this film people will recognize me as Shankar, my character name in MLA.

Q- 3 How was theexperience of working with director Shiv Dube?
Omkar – He is verytalented and confident person. This is his 1st film but henever speaks like other director. He knows what he wants, he is very clearabout his scenes and requirements and he explains very nicely. He never abuseslike other directors do. May be because he comes from advertising background.
Q- 4 What would you say about MLA?
Omkar : MLA is a verygood film and well made and it shows beautifully how to choose the rightcandidate to bring changes in society. According to me VOTING is a right, whichis very strong and important right. If applied properly, it can bring thechange that we as common man, talk about all the time. On the lighter note, I wouldsay that after doing the film ‘M.L.A. - An Inside Intruder’, I know how to doelection campaigns. But personally I am not interested in politics.

Q-    5 would you like to share any incident whichhappened while shooting?
Omkar : Yes, there wasone scene in the film where the cops are arresting me and hitting me . But theactor who was playing the police inspector was a first timer. This washis 1st film, so he was a little bit nerves about hitting me. Itold him relax and just bang me on the wall. He took me literally and banged mereal hard against the wall. In fact I actually got hurt little bit. After theshot he came to me and apologized. I told him don’t worry this is part ofactual acting.
Q- 6 Any other projectin pipe line?
Omkar : Right now I am concentrating  on ‘M.L.A. - AnInside Intruder’.  You will see strong actor in me . Apart from thisfilm I am doing Nazim Rizwi’s ‘Qasam Se Qasam Se’ and Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘MonsoonShootout’.
