Team 'Teri Meri Kahaani' in Delhi For Its Promotions

The team of kunal kohli's latest flick 'Teri Meri Kahaani' came to the capital recently for its promotions. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with their director Kunal Kohli addressed the media at a press meet held in Crown Plaza, Okhla.
Both the stars were seen sharing a fun time with each other at the press conference laughing, kidding and taking a gig at each other. The film, to be released on June 22, is a love story set in three different eras. Priyanka admitting that Shahid is one of her best co-stars said, "I feel, Shahid is the best co-star to work with and it feels great to work with him again,".
While Praising her Director  Priyanka said, "The best thing about kunal is that he believes in his characters and knows how to extract the best out of every actor. He is one of the best directors I've worked with and I am truly blessed having worked with him."
The film is all stated to release this friday on 22nd June.

Veena Malik debut movie Daal Mein Kuchh Kaala Hai!

“Daal Mein Kuchh Kala Hai”
It’s a story of an upcoming Actress who is over ambitious to be a Starlet of Bollywood.
Mr. Dabu, a middle age man of forty, completely looser absconded and left alone in life but having weakness of luxury life and women, is madly infatuated to this upcoming Starlet who one day suddenly gets rich when hits a jackpot of inheritance. He decides to go to Starlet to share his fortune and his future.

Starlet gets shocked and amazed after seeing so much of money with him in cash. She wants his money only but not him and she is confused what to do?
Suddenly she received a call of her boyfriend and lured by her boyfriend to con all the money of Mr. Dabu. He makes the plan for that and accordingly she should convince Mr. Dabu that they should go to an unknown destination to decide their future.
Agreeing with the boyfriend but confused what to do but then finally she goes to Dabu and tells him they cannot fly with so much of money and they should hire a car and make their journey by road.

(Car consists Mr. Dabu, Starlet, Secretary of starlet Mr. Seekhonath who is also attracted towards her and a car driver.)
The car driverwhose name is Charlie is a young handsome boy wonders what the beautiful girl is doing with Mr. Dabu. (An elder age man) and doubtfully think “Daal mein kuchh kala hai”?
Because of the stupidity of starlet’s secretary they leave behind scent of money with the unwanted people.
On the way, being odd couple, make people suspicious that “Daal mein kuchh kala hai”? They also follow them to know what is happening and they doubt that Mr. Dabu is carrying a bag full of money.
In the night, on the road, a stormy rain fall breaks out in middle of the forest, a huge tree falls down and blocks their way.
No ways to go for them, they spot a light then they go nearby they find a beautiful palace built in memory of a beautiful lady. They decide to take their shelter for the night.
After reaching the palace, they are given shelter by the palace manager.

As night passes, rainy storm gets stronger and delay their stay. They also realized that the palace has the presence of a soul and the palace is possessed by her. But to comfort themselves they ignore it.
Their imagination goes hay wire and they think that it’s their sixth sense and build courage to stay till the storm stops. The unwanted people who
are tracking them also reach the palace.
The palace where the spirit of a beautiful angel lives who transforms herself into duplicate of the starlet and makes everyone run for the money in full form of entertainment in a comic manner.

In the palace some wanted the money only. Some wanted the money and the girl.
Finally the entire tussle begins over the money which leads to the climax with a question that who will get the money? The angel who is saintly hearted soul finally does the justice and handover the money to rightful owner.
On the whole, from first frame to last frame entire film is full of comedy, fun and entertainment....

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ Defeats ‘Agneepath’

'"Rowdy Rathore" is unstoppable' says a famous trade analyst looking at the second week collection at the box office. The film, meanwhile, has surpassed the super hit movie "Agneepath"'s second week collection.
"Rowdy Rathore" became actor Akshay Kumar's first biggest opening in his acting career. The opening day collection recorded Rs 152.5 million and the opening week ended with a whopping Rs 480 million.
The movie continued to do wonders at the box office and went on to join the billion (Rs 100 crore) club.
Taran Adarsh, a well-known film critic and trade analyst, tweeted on the second week collection of "Rowdy Rathore". He wrote, "#RowdyRathore breakup for Week 2:- Weekend: 22 cr, Weekdays: 13 cr. Total so far: Rs 114.5 cr nett. Blockbuster."
"#RowdyRathore is unstoppable. Remains first choice of moviegoers. Collected a humungous Rs 35 cr nett in Week 2. Total: Rs 114.5 cr nett," he added.
Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar's "Agneepath" was released last year and soon became a hit at the box office, while drawing good reviews from the film critics. The movie collected Rs 1.07 billion (Rs 107.5 corer) at the box office in the second week. In contrast, "Rowdy Rathore" has netted Rs 1.14 billion in its second week, emerging as a clear winner.
"Rowdy Rathore" continues to rally strong while exceeding "Agneepath's collection and it is the first biggest opening of Bollywood this year post IPL season.
Lately, the B-town was abuzz with the rumours that the makers of the "Rowdy Rathore" were contemplating for the sequel looking at the massive response from the audience. However, there is no official word on it yet.
"Rowdy Rathore" is showing excellent business despite the release of director Dibakar Banerjee's latest offering "Shanghai". It also defied the trade analysts' opinions that the latter would slow down the masala entertainer (Rowdy Rathore) collection at the box office.
Taran Adarsh commenting on "Shanghai" collection wrote, "#Shanghai is way below the mark. Witnessed some growth at hi-end multiplexes of metros, but slided downwards as days progressed."
Giving a breakup of the first week collection, he tweeted, "#Shanghai collected Rs 17.5 cr nett in Week 1. Breakup for Week 1:- Weekend: 12 cr, Weekdays: 5.5 cr."
So far, "Rowdy Rathore" continued to be the first choice of moviegoers. Buoyed by the success of the movie, 44-years-old actor, Akshay Kumar, tweeted, "I owe a HUGE thank you to my audience! You are the only reason behind the biggest opening weekend of my career! Love Rowdy."
Akshay's comedy flick, "House Full 2" was his first movie to be released in 2012, which crossed over Rs.1.12 billion (INR 112.88 crore) in India.
"Rowdy Rathore" is Prabhu Deva's second directorial movie in a row. It features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Prabhu Deva, "Rowdy Rathore" is a remake of super-hit Telugu movie "Vikramarkudu" directed by Rajamouli, starring Ravi Teja and Anushka. Later, it was dubbed in Tamil and Kannada simultaneously.

I know my strengths and my limits- Rrishita Monga's Interview

Rishita Monga, who is playing the lead character of Manmeet in Dreamers Production’s forthcoming film Yaraan Naal Baharaan II, is the winner of MTV Ibibo Superstar 2008 show. She was also one of the top 5 contestant in Miss India Worldwide 2009 and Winner of Miss Talented and Miss Beautiful Skin. Rishita has also worked in print ads for brands like Spicejet, Dominos, Pantaloons, Dabur, Armstrong Flooring, Panasonic, besides many commercial TVCs.  She is making her debut as lead in Punjabi film Yaraan Naal Baharaan II releasing on 6 July 2012.

Q: The same makers had earlier produced Yaraan Naal Baharaan. Is this a sequel to it
Rishita Monga :- No its not same. It’s a completely different story. Yaraan Naal Baharaan II is all about love. There is Yara which means friendship and Yara also means relationship. I don’t think there could have been another more fitting title. It’s perfectly suitable. 
Q: Tell us something about your Character?
Rishita Monga:- I play the character of Manmeet. She is NRI girl and stays in Canada with her family.  Very down to earth girl, she is so simple. On first meeting one feels that she has some attitude but basically she is simple Punjabi girl. In real life too I really relate to the character because I am like Manmeet only.
Q: Since the name of the film is Yaaran naal Baharaan II you will be compared with the heroine of the first film. Comment?
Rishita Monga:- Why comparisons? This is my first film and this would not be fair at all.  I know my strengths and my limits too. Then name may be same but it’s a totally different film. I have seen the first film and I know it’s very different. My character too, is totally different.
Q: What is the story about?
Rishita Monga:- I stay in Punjab. Due to some family problem we all go to Jaipur and there I meet the hero, fall in love. Then family issues begin. Our families already know each other for the rest you will have to watch the film.

Q: How did you get this film? 

Rishita Monga:- Like any other girl, I too went for audition. And within two days I got the call that I was selected. Earlier I was done Punjabi music Videos. Initially I was not thinking about the movie. But one of my friend told me there are some auditions going and they wanted new face. So I went there and got selected.
Q: How is the Music of the film?
Rishita Monga:- Music is really good. There are total 5 songs and four are picturised on me.
Q: Is your target only Punjabi films?
Rishita Monga:- Not at all. I am an actress and I do want to go much wider. I am very much interested in south films too. But yes of course I will defiantly look forward to Punjabi films too. it’s my mother tongue,  it’s my culture , so I cannot and will not disconnect from it. But at the same time I am looking at Bollywood.  I would like to play roles like Vidya Balan, a performance oriented, meaningful characters. As a child I followed Hararbajan Mann, Tulip Joshi, Niru Bajwa etc. 

Q: Locations of the film look very fresh. Where all did you shoot?

Rishita Monga:- Yes, the producer Preetpal Ji and director Samit Brar ji wanted fresh look, so thye had looked for newer places beyond Punjab. We have shot in Mumbai Udaipur, Hariyana, and Punjab. 

Q: The same producers had earlier produced 2 super hits like Asa Nu Maan Watana Da & Yaaran Naal Baharaan. So what are your expectations with this film?

Rishita Monga:- Expectation are good because they have made a good film. While shooting we saw the kind of trouble  producer Preetpal Ji and director Samit Brar ji went to keep the production quality up and make an entertainer. Music is good, all the actors have done a good job, so film should do well.  

Q: Did you face any difficulty or discomfort during the shoot?

Rishita Monga:- The environment on the set was very entertaining, so when I had to give some serious scene, I wasn’t able to concentrate. People around me were talking laughing. So I couldn’t get into the skin of that character at times. This was really very annoying and difficult for me.
