Sridevi's English Vinglish at Toronto Internatio​nal Film Festival

Sridevi, making a comeback after 15 years, is reaching new heights even before the release of her film.  The Sridevi starrer English Vinglish is going to be premiered at Toronto International Film Festival this year which is going to be held from September 6-16.
The film also marks the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, wife of film-maker R.Balki who is also the producer of the film. The film is going to be premiered on September 14. The film stars Sridevi, Adil Hussain, Mehdi Nebbou and Priya Anand.
The film is scheduled to be part of the highly coveted Galas’ section for a world premiere.
English Vinglish is a story of a woman’s struggle with the English language and the insecurities she faces because of it. The film shot mostly in New York captures her transformational journey. Hilarious, touching, sensitive, this film marks the return of India’s biggest female star - Sridevi.

मुझे यह जानने में दिलचस्पी है कि लोग अपराधक्यों करते हैं - जेसिका बियल

 सोनी पिक्चर्स की फिल्म “टोटल रीकॉल” ३अगस्त को रिलीज़ होने वाली है. इसफिल्म में अभिनेत्री जेसिका बियल मेलीना का मुख्य किरदार अभिनीत कर रही हैं. १४वर्ष की उम्र से ही अभिनय करने वाली जेसिका ने अनेकों फिल्मों में काम किया हैजेसिका ने आई विल बी होम फॉर क्रिसमस, समर कैच, द रूल्स ऑफ अट्रेकशन, सेलुलर आदिअनेकों फिल्मों के अलावा टी वी शो ‘सेवन हेवेन’ में काम किया है.     
इन दिनों जेसिका चर्चित हैं लेन वाइसमेन की फिल्म “टोटलरीकॉल” के लिए. सोनी पिक्चर्स की इस फिल्म के निर्माता है टोबी जफे और नील मोरित्ज़.यह फिल्म सन १९९० में बनी फिल्म “टोटल रीकॉल” का ही रीमेक है. लेखक फिलिप के डिककी लघु कहानी पर “वी केन रिमेम्बर इट फॉर यू होलसेल” पर आधारित इस फिल्म में इनके साथ कॉलिन फेरल व केट बेक्किंसले भीमुख्य भूमिका में हैं. फिल्म “टोटल रीकॉल” के अपने चरित्र मेलीना के बारे मेंबताती हैं,  “इस फिल्म में पिछली फिल्म“टोटल रीकॉल” से मेलीना का चरित्र बहुत अलग है काफी बदलाव किया है निर्देशक लेनवाइसमेन ने. दोनों फिल्मों के चरित्रों की तुलना करना ही बहुत मुश्किल बात है. पिछलीफिल्म में मेलीना का चरित्र रशेल ने बहुत ही ख़ूबसूरती से निभाया था .”   
               इस फिल्म में कैसे उन्हें काम करने का अवसर मिला ? इसबारे में जेसिका बताती हैं कि,  “जब मैंनेफिल्म के बारे में सुना और इसकी स्क्रिप्ट पढ़ी तो यह मुझे पिछली फिल्म से बहुत हीअलग लगी मुझे बहुत ही मज़ा आया इसे पढते समय.पहली फिल्म में बहुत कुछ कम्प्यूटर जनित कल्पना जैसा था. फिल्म की कहानी  वही है लेकिन प्रस्तुत करने का तरीका बिलकुल हीअलग है जब दर्शक देखेगे फिल्म को तो उन्हें बहुत ज्यादा मज़ा आयेगा.  लेन ने बहुत ही ख़ूबसूरती से फिल्माया है इसे. आपसभी जानते हैं लेन एक्शन फ़िल्में बनाने में माहिर हैं उन्होंने अंडरवर्ल्ड सीरीजऔर लाइव फ्री और डाई हार्ड जैसी फ़िल्में निर्देशित की हैं. ”
अपने स्टंट सीन के बारे में जेसिका बताती हैं, “ ऐसे एक्शनसीन करते थोड़ी बहुत चोटे तो लगती है यह कोई बढ़ी बात नहीं. लेकिन केट के साथ एक्शनसीन करते समय ऐसा कुछ भी नही हुआ शायद हमारी किस्मत अच्छी थी. जो कुछ लेन  मुझसे कराना चाहते थे वो सब स्टंट सीन भी मैंनेखुद किये हैं, लेकिन कुछ स्टंट सीन जेनेन  कार्लटन नाम की स्टंट वूमन ने  किये हैं फिल्म में और उसने मुझे बहुत कुछ सिखाया भी.” एक्शन सीन करनाजेसिका को  बहुत पसंद है वो कहती हैं, “इस तरह के सीन करते समय हम अपने पूरे शरीर का इस्तेमाल करतेहैं. जबकि आम तौर पर हम ऐसा नही कर पाते.  मुझे बहुत ही अच्छा लगा स्टंट सीन करते समय, ऐसेसीन करते समय अलग -  अलग तरह की मार्शलआर्ट सीखने को मिलती हैं.”
“टोटल रीकॉल” में से अगर कोई ऐसी स्मृति ला पाती तोक्या ? के जवाब में जेसिका बताती हैं कि, “मुझे हमेशा से जासूस व गुप्त एजेंट पसंदआते हैं तो मैं सी आई ए एजेंट  जैसा ही कुछ करतीक्योंकि मुझे यह काम करना अच्छा लगता है. मैं उनलोगों मे से हूँ जो  “४८ आवर्स”  टीवी शो देखना पसंद करते हैं. मुझे यह जाननेमें दिलचस्पी है  कि लोग अपराध क्यों करतेहैं ? क्या वजह होती है इसके पीछे ?”
मेलीना के चरित्र से खुश जेसिका कहती हैं कि, “मेरा चरित्र फिल्म का दिल है इसी तरह फिल्म में जब वो कुईदसे मिलती है तब पूरी ईमानदारी के साथ, वह उसे सच्चाई बताती है जबकि वो उस परविश्वास नही करता. वो उसकी उस समय मदद करती है जब कोई भी उसका सहायता नही करता.”
जेसिका की जल्दी ही रिलीज़ होने वाली फ़िल्में हैं  थ्रिलर फिल्म “द टोल मैन” और स्पोर्ट्स कॉमेडी “प्लेइंगद फिल्ड” आदि.

The first look event of blockbuster hit Anees Bazmee’s NO ENTRY’s Marathi remake by Underground films' NO ENTRY – PUDHE DHOKA AAHE turned out to be a funfilled evening at the Poolside of Hotel Sun n Sand. Producers Nikhil Saini and Premnath Rajgopalan played perfect hosts. Guests were welcomed with roses by ‘Navvari sari clad girls and young boys with drums dancing to the beats of lezim. Director Ankush Chaudhari who also plays Salman’s part in the movie introduced the Marathi industry stalwarts -Bharat Jadhav who plays Anil Kapoor, Gorgeous Saie Tamhankar who plays the seductress Bipasha, Kranti Redkar who plays Lara Dutta’s part, Aniket who play Fardeen, Sai Lokur as Esha deol, Manava Naik as Celina’s part. Music director Nakash who has sung PUNGI and Second hand jawani from Cocktail was there with his partner Sargam. Aneez Bazmee and Anu Malik came to wish the entire team. Actor Siddharth jadhav, Paddy, Anant Jog and Viju Khote mingled around. 
Anu Malik was thrilled to hear his song in Marathi. No Entry _Pudhe Dhoka Aahe’s specially cut public message on social issues was the talk point of the evening.
Bollywoods superhit blockbuster film ‘NO ENTRY’ is back as a Marathi remake.
Premnath Rajagopalan and Nikhil Saini of Underground Films are all set to unveil a sneak peak of the EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK of NO ENTRY PUDHE DHOKA AAHEY’ on Wednesday, 25th July at 7:30 pm, at Hotel Sun N Sand, Juhu, followed by cocktails and dinner.
The film is directed by Ankush Choudhary who also plays Salman Khan’s role from the movie. NO ENTRY PUDHE DHOKA AAHEY’ boasts of the best of talents from the Marathi film world. Super talented comedian Bharat Jadhav plays the part of Anil Kapoor, Aniket Vishwas Rao plays the part of Fardeen Khan and Pandrinath Kamble plays the part of Paresh Ganatra. 
Amongst the female cast, Bipasha Basu's character is played by the equally saucy Saie Tamhankar, Gorgeous Kranti Redkar plays Lara Dutta's part, Manava Naik playing Celina Jaitley’s role and Sai Lokur playing Esha Deol’s character.
The crème de la crème of bollywod playback singers have come together to do the music for this film. Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik, Sunidhu Chauhan, Sajid Wajid, Jahnvi and Swapnil have together and done the music written by lyricist Guru (Gurunath) Thakur
