Preeya Subba: Living Her Dream !!

From the day she first stepped on the stage to perform her part in school, Preeya Subba, was always sure of what she wanted to do when she grew up- which was, “to do more of the same thing I did the first time on stage. I always wanted to be the best at my calling- acting. Pacing the stage, rattling of brilliant lines or facing the camera means the world to me. It’s my oxygen, she proclaims.” The actor who is making waves as, Mehar in the ZEE show Hitler Didi is all wound up for the big time. 
Preeya, who is an accomplished, Bollywood Dancer, is looking to showcase her versatile talent. “I am all out for strong interesting roles. They are tonic for someone who wants to grow as an actor” She points that Kajol’s vamp avatar in Gupt” or “Chul buli role in DDLJ” struck an instant chord with her. “I would love to do something on the lines” she reveals.  
While Madhubala is an all-time favorite she also admires Kajol for her histrionics. Working with the Dabaang Khan, is a top on her wish list. “I would love to share screen-space with Salman. Who wouldn’t? She enquires playfully. Mohit Raina, as Shiva, on the tube has caught her fancy too.” I think he’s special. Everybody loves him, don’t they”, she quips. 
Having done her bit as an item girl in two Bhojpuri films Preeya flaunts the rustic tang film-makers seek for their projects.” Bhojpuri is the flavour of the season. I love doing my bit there”. The latest one yet to release this Diwali :Pyar ke Rang hazaar” Bhojpuri films to flaut more of her talent. The lass has also appeared in the popular Zee show “Fear Files” & featured in crooner Anamika’s video “Meethe Meethe Bol” amongst others. “I love being in Music Videos they are one of the quick ways to get noticed in the crowd” she opines.

Music Launch Pictures and detail - Cigarette Ki Tarah

It was abig day for Mr. Vinod Poddar who launched his film production house P Y Filmsat a five star suburban hotel. The night also saw the Music Launch of his firstproduction Cigarette Ki Tarah. Mrs. Sunita Poddar hosted all the guestsgraciously and the debutants Bhoop Yaduvanshi and Madhurima Tuli couldn’t behappier when Ismail Darbar came on stage to unveil the music CD and bless thewhole team.
KavitaSeth who sang a few lines from the film made the whole environment musical.
Also,present were Shabbir Ahmed, Debutant Music Directors Ankur and Viraj, LyricistsKaushal Kishore and Dev Narayan.

रानी ने लगाया ८० के दशक का तड़का

रानी मुखर्जी की आने वाली फ़िल्म में हर कुछ बहुत निराला है और उसके गाने भी बेहद अनोखे हैं. फ़िल्म में यूँ तो सभी गाने बेहद दिलचस्प हैं लेकिन ड्रीमम वेकपम ८० के दशक की याद दिलाता  है पूरी तरह से. पृथ्वीराज के संग रानी ने गाने को बखूबी निभाया है. खासतौर से ये गाना रानी ने ८० के दशक के फ़िल्म युग को समर्पित किया है. यही  नहीं , इस  गाने  की  खासियत  और   तब   बढ़  गयी  जब  रानी  के  स्पोट   बॉय  P Amose ने  इस  गाने  के  कुछ  शब्द  लिखे  और  खुद  गाये भी . वो  तामिल  नाडू  का रहने वाला है और रानी के साथ कई सालों से है.   
ड्रीमम वेकपम गाने के बोल हैं. ये गाना पुराने गाने जैसे ताकी रे ताकि, तोहफा तोहफा और गोरिया रे से  सीधा  जुड़ते  हुए  नज़र  आते  हैं. इस  गीत  के कोरियोग्राफर, फैशन डिज़ाईनर और आर्ट  निर्देशक  ने  ८०  के दशक  की  कई  फिल्में  देखी. खासतौर  से  जीतेन्द्र  और  मिथुन  की  फिल्में .उन्होनें बाकायदा  हर  एक  चीज़  पर  काफी  ध्यान दिया  चाहे  वो  डांस  के स्टेप  हो,  कपडे  हों , या  सेट हो  ताकि वो  उसी दशक का पूरा  लुक  और फील  दे  सकें. उसी बारीकी  से उन्होंने  अपना  काम  भी किया और उसका  नतीजा  सबके  सामने भी है. अभी के वक़्त में शायद  ही किसी  को ऐसे दृश्य या गीत पर काम करने  मिलता  है. अय्या  की टीम ने इस पर काम करने  का खूब  लुत्फ़   उठाया . सभी  को एक  नया  अनुभव  भी मिला.
जीतेन्द्र  और  मिथुन जैसे इन कलाकारों की फिल्मों का जब भी ज़िक्र होता है तो उनके हट के गीत और डांस, रंग-बिरंगे सेट, उनके कपड़ों का स्टाईल भी ज़रूर याद दिलाता है. उनके गानों का थीम  बहुत  ही  दिलचस्प  होता था. उन गानों की बात ही कुछ अलग थी. और फिर से उसी ज़ोरदार तडके के साथ रानी आ गयी  है सबको वापस  उस युग में ले जाने. अय्या की पूरी टीम इस गाने को लेकर बेहद उत्साहित है.    

This Birthday I want to do a Play in London

Disha Vakhani aka Daya ben of Taarak Mehta Ka Oltah Chashamafame has many dreams in her eyes. This month on 17th Disha iscelebrating her birthday. And this birthday she has a special dream and she ispraying hard to make that dream come true. We all known that Disha Vakanai isvery talented theater artist. She has done many plays and she enjoys them alot. This birthday she wants to do one of her play ‘Kamaal Patel V/sDhamaal Patel’ in London.
She has been part of this play more than 100 times and performedall over India. For this birthday Disha is wishing for a magical jinn or an angel to come to fulfill her this wish. “Everyone havedifferent wishes on their birthday, but I want some angel or jinn to grantme this birthday wish. I so much want to stage this play ‘Kamaal Patel V/s DhamaalPatel’ in London. Hence, this year I have not made any plans for my birthday. Ihave kept it open. Then it also depends on the shooting schedule of Taarak Mehta.vaise Asit sir is very good. I amsure I will get some time off”.
Now ask her how old she is and pat come her reply in a sing songvoice, “ abhi to maine jawaan hu, abhi tomaine jawan hu.” We do agree.
