Jackky Bhagnani injured on the sets of Rangrezz

All hard work and no rest has taken a toll on Jackky Bhagnani. The actor who has just wrapped up the shooting of ‘Ajab Gazabb Love’ with Nidhi Subbaiahwent straight to report on the sets of Priyadarshan’s ‘Rangrezz’ in Mysore!

Jackky reportedly injured himself while shooting an action sequence. While shooting the scene Jackky is said to have sustained an injury on the head with a metal rod. The scene features Jackky stopping a friend from hitting a third person with a rod. Little did he know that he would be hit by it himself! There was a little panic and chaos on the sets but, but he managed to give the shot successfully, despite the injury!

Thereafter he was in severe pain and his head has started bleeding but he remained calm and a doctor present on the sets attended to his injury immediately after which quietly resumed shooting informed a source from the sets, Now, that’s a spirit we like! Way to go, Jr.Bhagnani!

Sophie Choudry’s French Connection

For all those wondering who sings the sassy French lines in Ishkq in Paris’ Its all About Tonight ,look no further than Sophie Choudry,who not only sung the French lines to perfection, but also penned them herself.

Set in a Parisian night club,the song composed by Sajid-Wajid includes 3 languages-Hindi sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and English and French sung by Sophie.

Talking about how she was offered the song ,says Sophie Choudry ““I met Preity at an event some time ago and she heard me speaking in French with the actress Isabelle Adjani. She invited me over to listen to It’s all about tonight later and asked me for my inputs. That’s when I sang a couple of lines and was then offered the song,”

The singer-songwriter is also all praise for lead star Preity Zinta’s dedication to getting the song just right. Adds Sophie “Preity wrote down all the lines in Hindi so that she could get the pronunciation right. It was exciting to see her do that and learn.”

UNAIDS appoints Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as international goodwill ambassador

On the eve of the 67th United Nations General Assembly, the joint. United. Nations programmed on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) has appointed Indian global icon and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as international goodwill ambassador. In her new role she will help raise awareness on issues related to stopping new HIV infections in children and advocate for increased access to antiretroviral treatment.
Aishwarya has been involved in humanitarian issues for many years and will now have a special focus on HIV I am honoured to accept this appointment. Spreading awareness on health issues especially related to women and children has always been of concern. And now as a new mother, I can personally relate to this---the joys and concerns of every mother, and the hopes that we have for our children. I pray and strongly believe that no baby should be born with HIV. And I wish that every woman living with HIV stays healthy and has access to treatment. I promise that with UNAIDS, I will do my utmost to make this happen".

Gifts Galore for Big B

It seems that Big B’s birthday celebrations have already begun by way of KBC participants getting hordes of gifts for him on the show. Big B is a happy man and why shouldn’t he be? Especially when he receives gifts from participants almost in all the episodes. The recent addition to this list is a beautiful picture frame gifted to him by Vivek Kumar.

Since 7^th September when the show kicked off, Big B has received a lot of love from his ardent fans who come to visit him on sets. Some have gifted him Ganpati idol, while others have brought him rasgullas. But in this Friday’s episode AB was in for a surprise. Vivek Kumar from U.P. first surprised Mr. Bachchan by playing the flute. Later he showed off his shayari skills. He concluded by gifting AB a picture frame made from sheesham ki lakdi which was prepared with the help of an ancient art form. The picture in the frame was that of Big B and his wife Jaya Bachchan. AB gladly accepted the gift and thanked Vivek for his sweet gesture.
