रेसिडेंट एविल रीट्रीब्यूशन में एक्शन भी पिछली फिल्मों की तुलना अलग है मिला जोवोविच

रेसिडेंट इविल सीरीज़ की फिल्मों में लोकप्रिय चरित्र ऐलिस को अभिनीत करने वाली अभिनेत्री मिला जोवोविच ने ११ वर्ष में ही बतौर एक मॉडल काम करना शुरू कर दिया था. मॉडल के रूप में काम करते हुए ही उन्होंने सन १९८८ में फिल्मों में अभिनय भी करना शुरू कर दिया उनकी पहली फिल्म थी रोमांटिक थ्रिलर ‘टू मून जंक्शन’. सन १९८८ से लेकर २०१२ तक उन्होंने अनेकों हिट फ़िल्में अपने दर्शकों को दी हैं लेकिन इस समय वो चर्चित हैं सोनी पिक्चर्स की फिल्म ‘रेसिडेंट इविल – रीट्रीब्यूशन’ के लिए. रेसिडेंट इविल सीरीज़ की पांचवीं फिल्म है यह।   

मिला यानि ऐलिस इस फिल्म में भी गज़ब का एक्शन करने वाली हैं इन एक्शन सीन के लिए उन्होंने मेहनत भी बहुत की है यह कहना है स्टंट कोर्डिनेटर निक पॉवेल का,” फिल्म के आखिरी में एक बहुत ही जबर्दस्त फाईट सीन है मिला और सिएंना गुइललोरी के बीच, मिला ने इस सीन में अपनी जान डाल दी बहुत लंबा सीन था लेकिन उसने बिना किसी भी बात की परवाह किया बिना सारे फाईट सीन को शूट किया.”   

रेसिडेंट सीरीज़ की हर फिल्म में ऐलिस हमेशा लड़ती रहती है अम्ब्रेला प्रोडक्शंन द्वारा फैलाये गए टी वायरस से ग्रसित मुर्दों और खलनायकों से. क्या इस फिल्म में भी मिला अपने सहयोगियों के साथ अम्ब्रेला प्रोडक्शंन के लोगों से लड़ेगी ? के जवाब में मिला कहती हैं, “ हाँ यह तो मिला का काम है सारी दुनिया को टी वायरस का कहर से बचाना इस फिल्म में भी वो यही करेगी और साथ में खुद भी अपने पीछे भागते हुए मुर्दों से बचने का प्रयास करेगीं.” 

रेसिडेंट सीरीज़ की सभी फिल्मों में मिला ने अभिनय किया है तो ऐसा इस फिल्म में क्या है जिसे दर्शक देखने जाए और उन्हें यह फिल्म पसंद भी आये पूछने पर ? वो कहती हैं,”बहुत कुछ नया है इस फिल्म में, तकनीक के बारे में देख जाए तो बहुत आगे है यह फिल्म, इस फिल्म में मुर्दे भी इन नयी तकनीकों का इस्तेमाल करेगें अपने बचाव में. इसके साथ ही एक्शन भी पिछली फिल्मों की तुलना अलग है, रूह को कंपा देने वाले डरावना संगीत व सीन हैं फिल्म में.”   

दो दर्जन से भी अधिक फिल्मों में अभिनय कर चुकी मिला के पति ही उनकी इस फिल्म के निर्देशक हैं तो क्या कुछ आसान हो जाता है पति के साथ काम करते हुए ? पूछने पर वो जवाब देती हैं, “नही मुझे नही लगता कि कुछ आसान होता है अगर अच्छा काम करना है मेहनत तो आपको करनी ही है चाहे आप पति के साथ काम करे या किसी दूसरे निर्देशक के साथ, मुझे तो लगता है कि जिम्मेदारी और बढ़ जाती है अगर आप अपने घर वालों के साथ काम करते हैं तो.” 

जैसा कि सभी जानते हैं मिला एक मॉडल तो थी अभिनय भी वो शानदार करती है लेकिन बहुत कम जानते हैं वो गाती भी बहुत अच्छा हैं उनके दो एलबम भी रिलीज़ हो चुके हैं एक तो ‘द डिवाइन कॉमेडी’ १९९४ में और दूसरा एलबम १५ वर्ष की उम्र में उक्रेन की भाषा में आया था जिसके गीत भी उन्होंने लिखे थे और गीतों को गाया भी था मिला ने. मिला ने एक बैंड भी बनाया था जिसके साथ उन्होंने अनेकों शो में परफोर्म भी किया. इसके साथ - साथ उन्होंने ‘द मिलियन डॉलर होटल’ (२०००) ‘अंडरवर्ल्ड’ (२००३ ) ‘डमी’( २००३ ) आदि अपनी खुद की फिल्मों में भी गीतों को गाया है

The controversial argument started with the film Maya during the recording of the song Tasveer Tere Dil Mein (1961).After a span of 6 yrs Lataji & Mohammad Rafi starting singing together in "Dil Pukaare" (Jewel thief) 1967

A day after Lata Mangeshkar's interview to this newspaper titled "I am far from perfect - I have a fierce temper" dated September 25, 2012, where the songstress recalled her fight with (late) Mohd Rafi over royalty rights and said she later got a written apology from him, Rafi's son Shahid Rafi has come out in strong protest, alleging she is lying and maligning his father's name, especially now when neither Rafi nor composer Jaikishen are alive to defend themselves.
"At a meeting attended by prominent singers and musicians, Rafi Saab stood up and said, 'Main aaj se Lata ke saath nahin gaoonga'. I retorted, 'Rafi Saab, ek minute. Aap nahin gaayenge mere saath yeh galat baat hai. Main aapke saath nahin gaoongee'. I stormed out and called my composers there and then and informed them to rope in another singer if it was a duet with Rafi Saab." Asked about their patch-up, she had said, "Composer Jaikishen took the initiative. I asked him to get a written apology from Rafi Saab. I got the letter and ended the cold war. But whenever I'd see him, the hurt would return."

Shahid Rafi, explaining their side of the story, says "The controversy went on for a while. Lataji and some other singers were looking for royalty, saying they should get a cut from the producer, director etc. My dad wasn't very keen on that. He was this humble, soft spoken, amazingly generous person. His stand was, 'Our job is to sing and we get money for that. There is no point in getting greedy'. Hence, they had a fight and he decided to stop singing any duet with her."
Questioning Lataji's claim that his dad had given her a written apology, he adds, "If that is the case, let her show the letter. My father passed away about 25 years ago, and now she is talking about this letter? People keep valuable documents for even fifty years. Why hasn't she retained the paper which would give her dignity?"

Shahid's version of the patch-up is rather different. He says after his dad stopped singing with Lataji, he continued getting offers for duets and opted to sing with another brilliant singer, Suman Kalyanpur. At this point, Lataji started feeling insecure and approached composer Jaikishan to make peace between them. "When Jaikishan approached my father and requested him to make amends with Lataji, he immediately agreed because he wasn't the kind to hold on to grudges. But there is no way he would have apologised to her because he always stood by his principles. Why didn't she bring up this issue when he was alive?" Shahid says, adding, "I don't have to give any further justification about my dad's reputation. Even today, my dad has more followers than Lataji."
