The residents of the national park welcome a bright sunny morning, birds singing away merrily, animals running around with joy, Sultan and his cub playing by the lakeside. The jungle has an air of joy and peace. A distant thunder breaks the silence and a closer look reveals the jungle being raided by man and machine destroying everything in its path. Sultan tries to fight a futile battle and ends up losing his life.

 The night has a very tense air as all the animals gather around with fear in their heart, discussing their fate of losing their habitat to human beings. Yuvi, Sultan's cub, tries to reason with the elders, urging them to not give up their homes.

 Everyone is convinced that it is futile to fight humans, and the only option is to leave and move to a safer home. The hot headed militant monkey, Bajrangi, wants to declare a full scale war against the humans taking over their homes. But the anger management Guru, Bagga the bear, has a more civilized suggestion. He believes that all problems could be sorted out through peaceful discussions. So the best way to get back their homes is to have a dialog with the humans, win their hearts and their own homes. The only problem being that no one can speak the human language. Air India, the pigeon recommends Alex, the talking parrot who can come to their rescue.

 With hope in their hearts, Yuvi, Bajrangi, and Bagga decide to kidnap Alex from his luxurious golden cage. However, their hope turns to despair as the talking parrot Alex hates animals. Loves humans. And wants nothing to do with the problems of these barbaric animals especially, the primitive ape. Bajrangi. Also Alex is sure that such issues need to be addressed in the parliament at Delhi.

 Now starts a journey from Mumbai to Delhi. From hate to love. From enmity to friendship as a motley group of five animals travel across India with a message. A message that they discover not only plagues their homes, but the homes and lives of thousands of other animals on the way.

 The journey across the country becomes a journey where enemies become friends and a family comes together to fight for what rightfully belongs to them - A HOME.

The Legend of The Master and His Magic Lives on…

The evening of October 10^th witnessed a mélange of remarkable singers from the music fraternity come together to celebrate the musical legacy of the ghazal maestro, the legend, Padma Bhushan Jagjit Singh. On the occasion of his 1^st death anniversary, Mrs. Chitra Singh curated an intimate Tribute concert. Soulful Performances by Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan made it an evening to remember. Established actor and National Award winner Farooq Sheikh hosted the evening which also witnessed the launch of unheard , unreleased, original compositions by the maestro called ‘The Master and His Magic’. The event was attended by Kavitha Seth, Leslie Lewis, Siddharth Haldipur, Sangeet Haldipur.

 Mrs. Chitra Singh said, ““The Master and His Magic’ is a tribute to Jagjitji and a gift to millions of his fans. I am sure that through these unreleased original compositions his legacy will live on and his fans will relive his music. This album celebrates the history created by the legend”

Adding on Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma said,” I have heard many voices but nothing like Jagjit Singh and today we have gathered here to celebrate his music. He physically may not be with us but his music will always be alive”.

On the launch of the album Shridhar Subramaniam, President India and Middle East Sony Music Entertainment said,” We are honored to be a part of this album which is a rare collection of his unreleased recordings. We have had a close relationship with the family and while releasing this album along with Mrs. Chitra Singh, we feel his blessings and there can be nothing more encouraging than this. On the occasion of his first death anniversary, we believe that the event hosted by Chitra Ji was an appropriate tribute to the legend and will help us relive the music that he has created over the years.”

After The Hand-Pump, It's Car Doors For Sunny Deol!

The Deols are having a ball at the 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' shoot at UK. While the director Sangeeth Sivan, who recently turned a year older, has already attuned himself to the Punjabi culture, the rest of the cast and crew is having a blast over there.

Needless to say, Sunny Deol too wants to have his share of excitement. The actor was recently spotted on the sets of the film, the sequel to 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', driving around in a beautiful, bright yellow Lamborghini. Sunny dutifully completed the shot which required him to take the car out for a spin. However, once the shot was canned, Sunny was up to his antics.

 

The actor was trying to break one of the scissor doors of this swanky car, much to the amusement of the crew. We're sure that Sunny, who is known to be a passionate lover of cars, must only be fooling around. We don’t think Sunny will ever have the heart to damage a Lamborghini! Anyway, the rest of the cast and the crew had a field day talking about the incident.

So, the fun and games continue on the sets of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2'!

पृथ्वीराज अय्या फिल्म के मुख्य किरदार मैं जल्द ही नज़र आयेंगे, फिल्म के शूटिंग के दरम्यान सेट पे हमेशा रानी मुखर्जी पृथ्वीराज को कभी उनके नाम से नहीं बल्किहौटी हौटी बुलाती थी । धीरे धीरे सेट के सभी लोग उन्हें हौटी नाम से जानने लगे । यहाँ तक के वहाके स्पौट बॉय भी हौटी सर को पानी देना है , हौटी सर को ये चाहिए वो चाहिये ऐसे बात करते थे। यही नहीं अभी तो अनुराग कश्यप भी उन्हें हौटी नाम से बुलाने लगे है । फिल्म अय्या के सारे स्टार कास्ट और यूनिट के लोग उनका असली नाम भुलाके पृथ्वीराज को हौटी नाम से जानने लगे है । फिल्म के प्रमोशान दौरान भी रानी मुखर्जी उनका असली नाम न लेकर हौटी नाम से ही छेडती है ।
