Chinese takeover of Gokuldham society during Navratri

It is the time of China-Choliin Gokuldam society in the serial Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chasmah. Since TMKOC has always believed in something unique, so this time too they have Chinese people coming over to play dandiya.
As usual garba queen Dayabain (Disha Vakani) is all set to teach her chinese ben and bhai her steps of garba. “All our Chinese ladies would dress up in traditional clothes in chaniya and choli. Thye will deck up with silver oxide jewelry like ours. I am very eager to see these Chinese ladies dancing with china-choli, oops chaniya choli dancing in Gokuldham Society (laughs). They are very sweet people”, says Disha Vakani.
These atithies have come all the way from China, to celebrate and dance in full swing on this auspicious festival of Navratri. What does our Jetha bhai has to say about this? “Wah kya baat hai, this is a very creative thought and I am sure people would love this double tadkaof garba”, says Dilip Joshi. We are sure all the viewers are also excited and waiting to see this episode of china-choli dance.

Sachiin Joshi tries to break Dahi Handi; almost breaks head instead!

‘Oops!’ That might be how Aazaan star Sachiin Joshi might have reacted this week, when he tried to do a stunt for his forthcoming movie Mumbai Mirror where he plays a tough but quirky cop.
During a song picturisation, against the wishes of his unit, Sachiin refused to use a body double for a shot where his character had to break a Dahi Handi with his head in a fit of frenzy.
It was an energetic Govinda song with vigorous dancing, amidst 200 dancers, 250 Dahi Handi professionals and 500-strong crowd.
The mukhda went, “Poster phatega, toh hero hi niklega, mathey se phodega handi… Govinda aala re aala re, Govinda.” But our hero got so carried away in the passion of the shoot that while dancing with abandon he banged his head on the Handi real hard. But alas! It did not break. Instead Sachiin’s forehead started bleeding. Oh oh!
Confirming the incident, the actor’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar admitted, “Yes, Sachiin did get injured a bit. But even after the accident, he was sporting enough to carry on with the shoot, of course after a bit of first aid and medication.”
We checked on this with our khabri and realized Sachiin really hadn’t learnt his lesson! Our source informed us, he did continue to finally ‘break’ the Dahi Handi with his head in one of the retakes, even as the renowned choreographer Chinni Prakash looked at him in awe, admiring the young gun’s zest and determination.
What can we say about Sachiin’s dabangg attitude but ‘Kamaal karte ho Sachiinji’!

A cold nightmare for Tia Bajpai

While most actors have a rollicking time on their shoots abroad, for Tia Bajpai it had turned out to be a nightmare. For her upcoming film co-starring Aftab Shivdasani, the actress was required to stand in the middle of a chilled river in Sweden for a certain sequence. The cold bit her hard and she was left in utter discomfort. Our source says, “It was for a scene where Aftab traces back a missing Tia in the middle of a river. Along with the rest of the crew, Tia had to stand in chilled waters for a long time. She was shivering but did not complain about the cold.” Another source from the film’s team says, “It took us an entire day to finish that scene. By the end of the day, Tia had turned blue. We immediately took her out and had her wrapped in a blanket. The next day, the entire unit teased her by calling her Baby Blue.”
