Aftab shivdasani & Tia Bajpai addressed the Press Conference of the film ‘1920-Evil Returns’ at Movie Time Cinema, Noida


Horror is in, as once again Vikram Bhatt, who is easily the most successful man behind the horror genre after 1920 and RAAZ 3 turning into a superhit, is all set to now unleash ‘1920 - EVIL RETURNS’. The lead actors of this film Aftab Shivdasani and Tia Bajpai along with their director Bhushan Patel addressed the media at Movie Time Theatres, Noida.
Tia Bajpai had made her debut with a 3D horror flick ‘Haunted’ under Vikram Bhatt’s banner. While Aftab Shivdasani, Vikram's favourite for years, has just completed his 15 years in bollywood and is once again back on the big screen with this film. Interestingly the film is directed by debutant Bhushan Patel.
“1920: Evil Returns has nothing to do with the first part and it’s a totally unique film,” said the lead actor Aftab Shivdasani at the the press conference of the film at Movie time Theatres, Noida. Asked if he would call the film his comeback, Aftab said, “I don’t know. I mean, I guess I was just waiting for the right opportunity and I got it. So, if it’s a comeback, it’s a comeback, if it’s not a comeback, it’s not a comeback. It doesn’t matter to me as long as it is a good film.”
The film is a sequel to a 2008 film 1920 and stars Aftab Shivdasani, Tia Bajpai and Vidya Malvade in the lead roles. 1920: Evil Returns is a supernatural thriller which revolves around Jaidev Verma (Aftab Shivdasani), a famous poet who lives the life of a loner as he is unable to meet the love of his life. He stays with his sister Karuna (Vidya Malvade) who is his support system until he meets Smruti (Tia Bajpai), whom he finds near the lake under mysterious circumstances.
Jaidev finds out that Smruti has lost her memory and does not remember anything from her past life except for his poems.Jaidev decides to take Smruti to Shimla to get her treated in a big hospital. On their way, while resting in a guest house, strange haunting sounds start to emanate. Smruti gets possessed by a spirit (Sagar Saikia) and goes out of control.

Film “Bhanwari Ka Jaal” being shot in Salman Khan’s Cell of Jodhpur Central Jail.



In exotic locations of Jodhpur, Rajasthan Director Rakesh Saini is shooting major chunk of his film “Bhanwari Ka Jaal” in and around Jodhpur including Central Jail were some scenes will be shot on actress Sadhika Randhawa who is playing title role of Bhanwari Devi, incidentally it is being shoot in came cell where Salman Khan was kept few years back in connection of a criminal case against him, this film “Bhanwari Ka Jaal” is based on true story of the murdered nurse and famous folk singer from Rajasthan, Bhanwari Devi, who went missing after allegedly blackmailing local politicians for inappropriate sexual conduct.
Producer Ranjeet Sharma of this film based on scandalous life of Bhanwari Devi said that maximum parts of this film has been shot in Mumbai, but to give reality feel there are shooting in original locations of Jodhpur specially in Central Jail where Bhanvari's husband (Amar Sharma is in role of Bhanwari’s husband Amarchand) was in prison, and it is the same cell where Salman bhai was kept and this is just a co-incidence. Shooting of this film in Jodhpur has created a havoc among Jat community, they feel that this film is being made to defame their community so they are protesting shooting of “Bhanwari Ka Jaal”, A group of Jat mahasabha has approached high authorities of police to stop this shooting immediately otherwise they will come on road and will not allow this film to get released. Meanwhile Ranjeet Sharma, who has started shooting of this film with Sadhika Randhawa, seems prepared for any legal hurdle. "I've replied to a notice I got from the Jat community in Rajasthan, who claimed that their sentiments will be hurt if this film is made. I replied stating that I'm making the film based on the incidents and court’s observations on the case," he asserts. He states, "To make a film on any real person, you need permissions from the family. I've got all the required documents from Bhanwari's husband Amarchand and their lawyers".
Film “Bhanwari Ka Jaal” is getting ready to be released in December 2012. Film has been written by director Rakesh Saini himself being made under the banner of Ashima Films with music by Ravi Pawar and cinematography by Devaashish Sarkar. Film has Sadhika Randhawa and Sudesh Berry as its main lead actors, along with Amar Sharma, Kanchan Sharma, Upasana Singh, VIP, Sunil Pal, Yana Mistri, Karamveer Choudhari, Mehnaaz Shroff, Mushtaq Khan & Ehsaan Khan.

Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha sing the National Anthem at F1




The Indian Grand Prix which is in its 2nd year was filled with B-town glamour this time!! Well, we say this because this time Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn & the beautiful Sonakshi Sinha graced the event at the Buddh International Circuit on 28th October for the finals. The duo opened the race by singing the National Anthem and were accompanied by talented singer Shaan.
 “This was the 1st time that Ajay and Sonakshi have witnessed the F1 in Delhi and it was absolutely a thrilling and an unforgettable experience for both of them. And singing the National Anthem and opening the race was a complete different feeling which brought in a lot of pride,” said a source close to the team.
Well, we also hear that the crowd present there at the Grand Prix were in all cheers for this amazing duo. And the superstars were overwhelmed with the huge response they got and were seen waving out to the huge crowd present there!
Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha were present there to promote their upcoming Diwali Dhamaka 'Son Of Sardaar' which is all slated to release on 13th November!

Prakash Jha deserves a big applause for making ‘Chakravyuh’ says IAC leader Arvind Kejriwal


Indian social activist Arvind Kejriwal saw Prakash Jha’s latest film ‘Chakravyuh’ at Waves Cinema, Kaushambi on Friday Evening. Kejriwal was accompanied by by his entire India Against Corruption team members which included Manish Sisodiya, Kumar Vishwas, Gopal Rai and others.
After watching the film Arvind kejriwal spoke to the media and said, “Movies reflect the face of the society. By making a film on such a serious issue, Prakash Jha has shown how dedicated he is towards the issues prevailing in our society.”
‘Chakravyuh’,the film based on naxalism is receiving quite a good response from the masses. IAC leader Kejriwal was also heard praising the director and his team. “I congratulate Prakash Jha and his entire team for giving us a film like‘Chakravyuh’. The film had real good performances. I wish him great success for the film and want him to keep making such films which showcase the various issues of our society so that the people of India get to know what all is happening in their Country.”
