A R Rahman’s Elay Keechan from the much awaited Mani Ratnam movie Kadal today has become the number 1 single on iTunes within days of its release. The song has a unique sound something that will definitely get fans singing in the first listen. The song in the movie features Gautham Karthik. The 6 minute 10 seconds song has been penned by Madhan Karky

That’s not all, Nenjukulle - the first single of the album Kadal, is at number 3 making 2 of the top 5 singles from a Tamil soundtrack.

DOCUMENTARY BASED ON SONIA GANDHI’S LIFE RELEASED ON HER 66TH BIRTHDAY

66^th Birthday of Congress president Sonia Gandhi was celebrated by VA motion pictures at Vishwa yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri. Water Resource Minister Mr.Harish Rawat was the chief guest at this special function.

The celebration saw the presence of well known personalities from the political world. Apart from Harish Rawat, AICC spokesperson Rashid Alvi, Minister of Parliament Mahabal Mishra, Sonia Gandhi ji’s lawyer S.C.Maheshwari and Tom were among the guest of Honour.

On this special occasion of Sonia Gandhi’s 66^thBirthday, a documentary ‘KAL HAMARA HAI’ which is based on her life struggle was screened for the attendees. After the release and screening of the documentary, a cultural programme based on classical music and Sufiana Kalam was presented by the renowned music artists.

This documentary was dedicated to the young people of India who are more educated, talented, matured and sincere. The documentary which was produced by Shri Deepak Madhavrao Mankar and Vidhi Asra Motion Pictures, written and directed by Sarfaraz Ahmad was appreciated by everybody present at the special evening.

FOUR TWO KA ONE is being produced by Sunil Shah under the banner BHUMII CREATIONS, and presented by Manoj Nandwana of Jai Viratra Entertainment LTD and Rais Khan of Jannnat Films. SYNOPSIS:-

Vijay (Jimmy Shergill) & Raja (Rajpal Yadav) are young educated individuals unable to find employment. To survive, they turn to life of thievery. Vijay, a devotee of Lord Shree Krishna is not keen on stealing, but is compelled to do so.

Vijay and Raja decide to rob Pooja’s house and they lie to her saying that they are C.B.I officers. Vijay falls in love with Pooja. Once while they were robbing her house, she caught them stealing. They make up a story which she buys and they get saved. Vijay doesn’t want Pooja to know that he is a thief and starts feeling anxious and nervous.

Raja suggests they commit a huge robbery and hence they robbed a bag belonging to Chawla (Murli Sharma), who is a very dangerous man. Inside the bag they find a statue of Lord Krishna worth approx 20-25 crore. Raja and Vijay do not see eye to eye on what to do with the stolen statue. Vijay wants it to be returned to the owner. After returning it to the owner, somehow the statue lands up in their hands again. Vijay and Pooja get engaged and on the same day Raja sells the statue to Seth Karoimal. Eventually Pooja finds out the truth about Vijay and is very upset that he cheated her.

Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust celebrates 20th Foundation Day

The Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust— NGO, working towards the adolescent and women issues celebrated the 20th Foundation Day in the national capital here.

MLA Mukesh Sharma , CLP spokes person, and parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister Delhi govt. was the chief guest on the occasion and he inaugurated the inaugural session.

Lauding the working of the NGO for the last two decades, the MLA congratulated the UVCT chairman Dr U N B Rao, former Commissioner of Delhi Police for being honest and dedicated towards the society especially the children and women.

“We will try to help the children enrolled in different courses of UVCT,” the Chief Guest assured and appealed the gathering to approach him personally if, have any grievances.

The MLA also assured support to students in education.He however, also thanked and appreciated the UVCT CEO Ms Manorama Bakshi for her positive and constructive working towards the society.

Mr Sharma later distributed certificates among the students participated in the cultural events. A grand cultural program was organized by the students of the Tagore garden and Ramesh nagar centres.

Earlier, Mr. Kapil Chopra, the vice-chairperson of the Trust while welcoming the guests said that the trust is functioning in six centers in Delhi and 5 states namely Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra besides in USA. Mrs Bakshi spoke about future plans of the trust and assured that the Trust would work for the society with zeal and dedication.

Treasurer UVCT, Mr Negi said that the trust will raise its infrastructure by adding more computers in Ramesh Nagar and Tagore Garden Branches for the students.

In the end Mr Negi, presented vote of thanks and Director Admin, Deepak Bharatwal requested everyone to have refreshments.
