“Murder 3 is an official adaptation of La Cara Oculta"

Having acquired the official rights of the 2011 Spanish Film "La Cara Oculta" directed by Andrés Baiz ,Fox Star Studios & Vishesh Films are ready to awe Indian audiences with coming-of-age questions that few dare to ask, with their forthcoming release Murder 3.

Says Mr.Vijay Singh,CEO,Fox Star Studios “At Fox we have access to great stories from around the world and are always evaluating which can be adapted for the Indian audiences - and having identified La Cara Oculta it was but natural for us to leverage our long standing relations with Vishesh films and their strong creative sensibilities to adapt it for Indian audiences. Once Bhatt Saab saw this film he strongly felt that this film would be the best fit to take the Murder brand forward and so Murder 3 was born. “Marking the directorial debut of Vishesh Bhatt, Murder 3 inspired by the Spanish language thriller tells the tale of the unraveling of a mysterious disappearance, all told in true Bhatt style.

Sherlyn Chopra skips Colors Screen Awards for Sapra’s Lohri night

Saturday night was a busy one for our celebs; with various Bollywood events happening at the same time, it left our favourite stars in a dilemma as they had to make a tough call on which event to attend and which one to skip. Sherlyn Chopra made the right choice as she gave the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards a miss and opted to go traditional with attending the ‘Lohri’ night held at The Club in Andheri.

The event was organized by President of Punjabi Cultural and Heritage Board and MLC Charan Singh Sapra. Sherlyn was joined by Cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Former Miss World Yukta Mookhey, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh General JJ Singh, Gulshan Grover, Bindu Dara Singh and comedian Raju Shrivastav at the event.

Sherlyn added to the festive feel by narrating a beautiful Lohri shayari in Punjabi, “Mungfali di khusbhoo te gurh di Mithaas. Makki di Roti te sarso da saag, Dil di khushi te aapneya da Pyar, Mubarak Hove Tuhanu Lohri da Tyoohaar.”

Sherlyn thanked Sapra for inviting her to the event; the actress also wished the President luck with his future endeavors. Sherlyn looked gorgeous in her shocking red sari with a beautiful backless blouse, and accessorized her look with a traditional ‘gajra’ as part of her hair-do making her the perfect ‘desi’ girl.

Madhushree records for the Innocent Heroes...

Bollywood playback singing sensation Madhushree Bhattacharya records song "Yeh Nadiyan, Yeh Taare, Tere Liye Hain..." for the album titled Innocent Heroes dedicated to underprivileged kids. She recorded the song in Sudesh Bhosle's Shruti Recording Studio in Goregaon (W) and Sudesh ji dropped by to say hello. They chatted for a while about music post which Madhushree continued her recording. Also present at the venue were the music composer Uday Ramdas, the producer of the album Sheetal Kharka of IHF and Madhushree's husband Robby Badal.

The album Innocent Heroes is a project undertaken by The Innocent Heroes Foundation (IHF) which is a non-profit organization that seeks to address the basic needs of underprivileged children and provide them with an opportunity to explore their hidden talents and give these innocent heroes wings to fly to a better tomorrow.

ANUPAM KHER’S HOLLYWOOD FILM GETS 8 OSCAR NOMINATIONS!

It is a proud moment for actor Anupam Kher. His Hollywood film, Silver Linings Playbook has got eight Oscar nominations. Directed by David O Russell, the film stars Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawerence, Jacki Weaver and Kher. “This is the biggest moment of my life. As an Indian actor I feel rewarded for my 30 years of contribution in cinema. I am glad to have worked with the fabulous cast and crew of Silver Linings Playbook. David O Russell is undoubtedly a brilliant filmmaker and he has proved it again. A major part of me as an actor feels satiated today!”says a very visibly happy Kher.

“Being a part of a story as beautifully and subtly told as SLP is a satisfactory experience on its own. I was blown with the screenplay itself and being a part of such a wonderful cast and crew and being directed by David is a thrill in itself. It being nominated for Oscars makes me proud of the fact that I get to share the excitement with a cast and crew as spectacular as that of SLP and of course being someone who got the opportunity to contribute to the whole process by doing what I enjoy most. Exciting!” says Kher. Oscars will take place in Los Angeles on February 24^th, 2013.

 Kher in SLP plays the role of Dr Patel. SLP’s cast has also been nominated for 19^th Screen Actors Guild Awards which will be held in Los Angeles on January 27^th, 2013.

Producer Anil Mishra organized a bash to announcealtered his film title Zanjeer II to Good Morning Zindagi and also announces a new venture called Chadha Di Gaddi.

It was double celeberation as Anil Mishra, Executive Producer decided to change the name of their Film Zanjeer II to Good Morning Zindagi

And also announce their new venture Chadda Di Gaddi.

Anil Mishra says, “This is a double whammy and I am happy to take this initiative to change the title of the film from Zanjeer II to Good Morning Zindagi so that it does not synonyms to 1973 released Zanjeer (starring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan) and to avoid the confusion amongst the audience that our film is remake of old one.”

“And announcing Chadda Di Gaddi is another reason for being happy, so it’s double celebration for me this time.” He further added.
