संजय गुप्ता ने प्रियंका के आईटम गीत के बारे में बताया "I chased Priyanka for 6 months before she agreed to do this song. It will be shot in next 3-4 days in Mumbai."
उन्होंने कहा "Feroze Khan and RD Burman are two people I wanted to work with in my career and this song is an ode to them. Probably if they worked together the result would have been this song."
संजय से जब पुच गया कि उनकी पसंद प्रियंका ही क्यूँ थी तो उन्होंने कहा कि "If there was someone who I thought could recreate the magic of Zeenat Aman or Parveen Babi, then it could only have been Priyanka." "It has taken a lot of time for her to agree to it. I even showed her some parts of the film. She has agreed to do the song with the caveat that the lyrics won't be objectionable or have double meaning. I told her that she doesn't need to worry about it."
Priyanka is going to rock the song."

Sonal Chauhan makes her singing debut…

Sonal Chauhan debuts as singer with her forthcoming Eros International & Next Gen Films’ psychological thriller 3G. Sonal has lent her voice to the melodious song ‘Kaise Bataoon’
Taking her passion for music one step further Sonal sung this song with KK which has been released online. Music director Mithoon has composed this romantic track very beautifully which is soothing to the ear and manages to leave a mark with listeners wanting more. Sonal has always been affectionate of singing and its nothing less than ‘dream come true’ for her.
Talking about her experience says Sonal Chauhan, “One day I got a call from the producer asking me to reach a music studio. When I was told I had to sing, I was skeptical as I am not trained in it. They however insisted and when I recorded, they liked it. I have been a big KK fan and it was a great experience singing with him,”
Adds actor turned singer Sonal, “The director and producer of the film knew my liking for singing but I never thought I would end up doing that for the film!”
Adds producer Viki Rajani, "I have heard from director Shantanu that during the shooting of the movie the whole crew went for karaoke; at that time everyone realised that Sonal has a very good voice. As soon as I come to know about this I have asked her to reach studio immediately. After the recording we were so surprised and happy with her hidden talent. We tried several voices but felt that Sonal’s voice suits best with the song which benefited movie also. I am sure it will be a chartbuster song.”
Produced by Next Gen Films and Presented by Eros International , the psychological thriller starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan is scheduled to release 15th March 2013.

Anand Kumar: Zila Ghaziabad Is Commercial Yet Realistic

So while there are filmmakers who either remain arty or go completely commercial there’s a filmmaker
who’s bridging the two. Yes, that’s Anand Kumar who is bracing up to see his realism meets masala cop
drama Zila Ghaziabad making it to the ticket windows this week.
It isn’t generally easy for a filmmaker to rope in known stars in a film and still manage to stick to his
guns. We often hear of filmmakers altering their scripts to suit the actors’ needs. However, Anand isn’t
the sorts to lose his vision. In fact, the filmmaker succeeded in bringing the likes of Arshad Warsi, Sanjay
Dutt, Vivek Oberoi and Paresh Rawal all under one roof that too while giving them roles that completely
redefine them.
“Arshad Warsi’s character is one to watch out for. He is definitely going to be the new age Gabbar,” says
Anand excitedly talking about Zila Ghaziabad which hits the theaters this Friday.
But was it easy for him to convince all of them and bring them together under one roof? “Arshad Warsi
played a key role in helping me bring others on board. I am good friends with his secretary and had
narrated Arshad’s character that I envisioned to him. He instantly got me in touch with Arshad who in
turn lapped up the idea of playing a super baddie onscreen. He is the one who suggested me to rope in
Vivek Oberoi and also Sanjay Dutt happens to be his friend so approaching him to play the cop also got
easier.”
Cop drama isn’t a new phenomenon to hit Bollywood for there have been many superstars who’ve
played cops on screen before. However, ask Anand about this and he instantly negates, “Zilla Ghaziabad
isn’t a mindless over the top commercial film. It is realistically rooted and bridges the gap between art
and commercialism. You can see it’s a mix between Omkara and Dabangg!”
Well, we hope the filmmaker truly attains in what he has set out to achieve!
