Models throng Sucheta Sharma-Harrison James wedding bash at Flamingo

Urvashi Sharma aka Raina Sachiin Joshi and hubby Sachiin Joshi threw a lavish wedding post-wedding bash for Sucheta Sharma James and Harrison James at Flamingo Restaurant, Malad. The entire modelling community came to be part of the celebrations. Urvashi looked raidant in black, and the newly wed couple Harrison and Sucheta looked their happiest.DJ music and fun and laughter echoed the room as the couple enjoyed moments on the dance floor with friends. The music went on till they could dance no more. After cutting a beautiful heart-shaped wedding cake, the couple and friends settled for a sumptuous meal comprising of Italian, Continental and Indian cuisine.

एकता कपूर और कन्नन ने प्रेरित किया वेद प्रकाश शर्मा को डायन के लिए

एक थी डायन की टीम जल्द ही 'डायन' नामक एक किताब लॉन्च करने वाली है। ये उपन्यास बहुचर्चित लेखक वेद प्रकाश शर्मा ने लिखी है।

वेद प्रकाश भारत के सबसे ज्यादा पढ़े जाने वाले लेखकों में से एक हैं। ये अपने दिलचस्प कहानियों को लेकर काफी लोकप्रिय हैं। अभी तक उन्होंने 176 उपन्यास लिखे हैं। लेकिन ये पहली बार है कि उन्होंने अलौकिक शक्तियों के ऊपर कोई उपन्यास लिखी है।

वेद प्रकाश शर्मा का कहना है कि इस विषय पर लिखने की प्रेरणा उन्हें एक थी डायन के निर्देशक कन्नन अय्यर और एकता कपूर से मिली। उन्होंने इस विषय पर पहले कभी कोई उपन्यास इसलिए भी नहीं लिखी क्यूंकि उन्हें अलौकिक शक्तियों पर ज़रा भी विश्वास नहीं था। लेकिन एक चर्चा के दौरान एकताऔर कन्नन ने उन्हें कुछ ऐसे किस्से बताये कि वेद हैरान रह गए और तब से उन्हें भी इन सब बातों पर थोड़ा- थोड़ा यकीन होने लगा। उसी वक़्त उन्होंने ये तय कर लिया कि इस विषय पर वो ज़रूर एक उपन्यास लिखेंगे।

वेद प्रकाश ने ये भी सफाई दी कि उनकी उपन्यास का एकता की फिल्म से कोई लेना देना नहीं है। ये उनकी अपनी कहानी है और एक थी डायन की कहानी से ज़रा भी मेल नहीं खाती है. दोनों कहानियों में ज़मीन आसमान का अंतर है।

वो इस विषय से इतने रोमांचित हो गए हैं कि उन्होंने इस पर एक और किताब जल्दी से लिख कर लॉन्च करने की सोच ली है।

'डायन' किताब को एक थी डायन की टीम - इमरान हाश्मी, हुमा कुरैशी, कोंकणा सेन, कल्कि कोचलिन और एकता कपूर मिल कर लॉन्च करेंगे।

Panjabi MC’s song “Hayy” shot in Punjab University

Mere Dad Ki Maruti is a looking like a fresh film. The films will mark the debut of director Ashima Chibber and actors Saqib Saleem and Rhea Chakraborty.

The film has a fantastic music track. It has launched 2 songs till now i.e Punjabiyon Di Battery and Senti which have been topping all music charts.

The production house is now gearing up to launch the Panjabi MC’s song “Hayy”

The song will mark the debut of the band Panjabi MC in Bollywood, as this will be the first time they will be contributing a song for a film.

The film will also mark one more nouvelle aspect. For the first time a Bollywood song has been filmed at the Punjab University.

Director Ashima has a lot of relatives in Chandigarh and thus has literally grown up in the city. She was aware of the nuances of the city and well versed with the attributes and she wanted the same depicted in her film.

The Punjabi Mc song is infact the opening track in the movie and hence very crucial to set the tone of the film.

The YRF team is very happy with the way the song has turned out to be and is sure it will create a sensation among the audiences.

Says director Ashima, “Having spent a lot of time in Chandigarh, I love the energy and vibe of Panjab University and the gehri route. I was very keen to capture that flavor with the youth of that city who have their own unique style and attitude that forms the backdrop to our film."
