12th Annual Transmedia Gujarati Screen & Stage Awards
The only of its kind grand tradition of felicitating 50 to 60 Gujarati Artists and Technicians every year was held on 2nd March, 2013 ( Saturday) Andheri sports Club ground, Mumbai with grandeur and enthusiasm, in presence of Film, Tv and Stage fraternities.
Life time achievement awardees Deepak Gheewala nad Meghna Roy were presented cash prize of Rs. 51,000/- each, sponsored by Mr. Rashmikant Kmadar and Mrs. Bhavna Kamdar ( USA ), since last 7 years. Manharbhai and Dipeshbhai Sanspara of Euro India foods awarded Rs. 11,000/- cash prize to each winner of Best Actress-film ( Mona Theba for film ‘Sajan Tane Mara Sum’), Best Actor –film ( Hitu Kanodiyafor‘Sajan Tane Mara Sam’ and Hiten kumar for ‘Maa Umiyaji Padharya mare Aangne’) and Best Director –film ( Abhishek Jian for film ‘Kevi rite Jaish’ )).While accepting ‘Jain Ratna’ award, ‘Smaja Ratna’Shri Subhshchandra Runwal announced sponsorship of Rs.51,000/- from next year for the Best Comedian. Such a tremendous self generated encouraging response from sponsors, proves the acceptance of Transmedia’s objectives and Prestige for satisfactory implementation.
This year there were around 300 Nominees for 55 various categories from around 50 Gujarati Films, 41 Mumbai Drama, 3 tv serials and 20 Gujarat Drama, in addition to 9 special Awards. The respected Judges were – Shri Utpal Bhayani ( Mumbai Drama), Shri Robin Bhatt, Shri Baba Sawant, Shri Mehul Buch and Ms. Falguni Parikh for Film and Tv, whilst Shri Chandrakant Thakker ‘Meh’ was the judge for the Gujarat Drama category.
The vent was full of grandeur by the presence of celebrities from Film, Tv, Stage, Fashion, Entertainment and Industries, Press and Media. Professional Ground management and attractive Settings-Light-sound were as usual created and contributed by Raju Savla and Sulin Ichchhaporiya of Munjal Themes and Occasions. Whilst Performances of Aditya Gadhvi ( winner of ‘Lokgayak Gujarat ), Hitu kanodiya- Mona Theba, Saurabh Rajyaguru, Kiran Acharya-Sanjay Maurya, Bhumi Trivedi ( Indian Idol 5 winner ) and Devang Patel ( Lyrics BY Narendra Modi ) choreographed by Nigar-Jignesh and Keyur Desai, spellbound the audiences. The show was finely anchored by Yogesh Gadhavi, Abhilash Ghoda, Vipul Vithlani-Shetal Vaishnav, Nisarg Trivedi-Dipangi Raval, Djharmesh Vyas-Shital Antani.
Deepak Gheewala nad Meghna Roy got sentimental, while accepting Life Time Achievement Award, whilst Gujarati Producers of Hindi film ‘Kahani’ Kushal and Dhaval Gada promised to support Gujarati Film Industry also, while accepting special award from Jayanti Gada of Pen Video. Gujarati Director of another successful hindi film ‘Oh My God’ accepted the trophy from Niraj Vora. ‘Kevi rite Jaish’ won the best film award, whilst Oscar competed film ‘Vir Hameerji’ also won major awards. Chandan Rathod and Kiran Acharya received Critic Awards for Best Actor and Actress. Chandubhai Virani of ‘Balaji wafers’ group accepted the prestigious Dhirubhai Ambani Memoriyal Award.Arjan Bajwa, Hina Khan, Harish Bhimani, Anang Desai, Dharmesh Mehta, Parthiv Gohil, Gunubhai Delawala 9 Sargam club, Rajkot ), Gurusarup Srivastav, Jitubhai Patel ( Samay clocks ) and many more shared the stage to present few trophies.
Shri Jasmin Shah, MD, Transmedia , in his speech to gathered crowd of around 7,000, appealed to All Gujaratis of India to vote for BJP and have Shri Narendra Modi as PM. He also announced to form a ‘Guj-Sena’ to help and support any Gujarati, who is facing any injustice.
Present on Dias, Shri Bharat Shah ( Dimond King), Shri Atul Shah ( MLA), Shri Bhavan Bharwad ( Ex-MLA, Gujarat ), Shri Manohar Kanungo, Shri Manish Shah ( Maunga) and Smt. Jasmin Raju Savla ( Munjal ), congratulated Transnedia for such a worthy activity and Grand celebration.

Mumbai: 4 March, 2013: Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa's devotees has organised the Maa Jagdambe's Chowki to commemorate her birthday for the tenth year in the city. This year, Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa appeared from the cosmic world (Brahmand) to give divine darshan to her devotees at Kora Kendra, Borivali (west) on 3rd March, 2013.
Thousands of the Guru Maa's followers flew in from UK, America, Switzerland, Singapore, Dubai, Hong-Kong and Australia to attend the event.
Bhajan samrat Padamshree Shri Anup Jalotaji, Shri Vinod Aggarwalji, Popular Bhajan Singer Shri Lakhwinder Singh Lakhaji, Shi Ram Shankar ji, Bhojpuri Singer Shri Manoj Tiwariji, Bhangra king Shri Sardool Sikanderji, popular punjabi singer Jaspinder Narulaji and may more artists performed at the event.
The 10th edition of Maa Jagdambe Chowki has several ongoing social service campaigns like free dental, eye, heart and blood check-ups. Devotees also plan to conduct a blood donation camp on 7th March, 2013 at the Shri Ram Trade Centre, 3rd Floor, Borivali (west) in association with Dr. R. N. Cooper Hospital, Mumbai.
The celebrations also include the vastra daan initiative, which encourages devotees and public to donate their old clothes to orphanages, NGOs for mentally disabled people and slum-dwellers.
Devotees of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa also plan to organise an Essay Writing Competition for children in the days ahead. The purpose of the competition is to encourage children to read, write and think independently.
In an attempt to benefit people with Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa’s benevolence, these social activities will take place at different locations, around the world throughout the year.
The annual 'Mata ki Chowki’ organised by devotees of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa is one of the largest spiritual events in Mumbai supported by the politicians, trade communities as well as the members of outdoor advertising associations. The event is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion and social status.
As always, the event has been purely managed by Shri Radhe Guru Maa's sevadars along with ‘Langar’ for all the attending devotees.
The event had also been live telecasted on Sanskar TV and YouTube channel of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa.

More than 700 people from weaker sections of society including resident of slum areas, casual workers, labourers etc. got benefitted from this Camp. The camp was organised with support of Godrej Properties Ltd., Feedback Infra Services Pvt Ltd. and Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction.”
Gurgaon: MIW foundation has organized a “Free Medical & HIV/Aids Awareness Camp” held at Godrej Frontier Construction Site, Gurgaon wherein doctors from government and non-government participated in the Camp. The camp was organised with support of Godrej Properties Ltd., Feedback Infra Services Pvt Ltd. and Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction.
The Camp was organised to provide Medical Relief which included free general medical consultation, ENT consultation, dental clinic, distribution of free medicines , free eye check-ups and consultation by known ophthalmologists.The camp also addressed special issues like malnutrition, awareness on hygiene, importance of timely vaccination and immunisation of children etc.

Another highlight of the Camp was that along with free medical assistance it also had a dedicated HIV/AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM which addressed various issues like details about the disease, how it is spread, how it can be prevented, how it can be diagnosed at early stages, medication, centres/clinics/hospitals/
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee, MIW Foundation said that there is a necessity of providing cost free medical services to the inhabitants of slum areas and other marginalised people who cannot afford high cost of medication. At the same time it is imperative to educate people and bring awareness about fast spreading dreaded disease like HIV/AIDS amongst people. He said that this camp was purposefully organised to address both these social issues wherein free medicines, medical consultation about various ailments and a dedicated HIV/AIDS awareness program was held. He further stated that these kinds of camps should be conducted regularly for providing Medical Relief and creating awareness about social evil like AIDS so that more and more people can be saved from this dreaded disease. It shall be our continuous endeavour to organise such camps frequently so that people can benefit from it.”
