Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson starrer ‘G.I.JOE: Retaliation’ to release in India first!

 

The multi starrer high octane action fest to release on 27^th March in India ahead of the international release!

The highly awaited muscle fest and follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300 million worldwide, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION will now be releasing in India first ahead of its international release!!

Out in theaters on 27^thMarch, Director Jon M. Chu’s high octane action fiesta stars an ensemble cast of biggies such as Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson along with D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce and Ray Stevenson.

Produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, G.I.JOE: RETALIATION has screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s famous G.I. Joe characters.

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film was due in 2012 but was pushed to 2013 to turn the flick into 3D!

Says Director John M Chu, “I didn’t want to answer any of the crazy rumors that were happening, at that time, but the reality was the 3D. We were told they wanted it turned into 3D, and luckily we had the time to do that. It just so happens that the March date was a date that they could do it in and that gave us enough time to focus on it. We didn’t reshoot anything. I just didn’t want to say anything, but it was very interesting. There were rumors that we shot more things, but we literally didn’t shoot anything. We had done some reshoots a couple days before all that, in January, that were just some pick-up things, but that’s pretty much it.”

Seeing Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis must indeed be a special treat for all the G.I.Joe fans out there.

Says Dwayne Johnson, “Bruce and my chemistry is special. I grew up on G.I.Joe and I absolutely love it, as well as millions of people do!”

खलनायकीमें नामअमर करनाचाहता हूँ -डॉराजेश बक्षी

असल जिन्दगी में लोगों के शरीर से दर्द निकाल कर उन्हें राहत की साँस देने की कोशिश करते हैं, डॉ राजेश बक्षी जबकि फ़िल्मी परदे पर लोगों को तकलीफ देकर उन्हें मज़ा आता है, यानि परदे पर वो खलनायक बन कर डराते हैं.

राजेश ने अब तक अनेकों क्षेत्रीय भाषा की फिल्मों में तो काम किया है इसके साथ ही पिछले दिनों रिलीज़ हुई हिंदी फिल्म "जिला गाज़ियाबाद" में उन्होंने बहुत ही शानदार किरदार अभिनीत किया था. "संजय दत्त के साथ अभिनय करना बहुत ही लाजवाब रहा." यह कहना है खुद राजेश का.

इस फिल्म से पहले उन्होंने आक्रोश, बिट्टू बॉस, अतिथि तुम कब जाओगे आदि फिल्मों में काम किया है. इसके अलावा पंजाबी फिल्म तौर मित्रा दीं, बहुरानी, प्यारे भरतार, बहु बड़ी या सास, गाँव की गोरिया आदि अनेकों फिल्मों में खलनायक की ही भूमिका अभिनीत की है. उनसे पूछने पर की कोई खास वजह कि उन्होंने अभी तक सभी फिल्मों में वो चाहे हिंदी हो पंजाबी या कोई और भाषा की सभी में खलनायकी करने ही क्यों की? उन्होंने जवाब दिया अभिनय तो अभिनय है चाहे वो नकारात्मक हो या सकारात्मक, और वैसे भी मुझे खलनायकी ज्यादा प्रभावित करती है. मैं इसी तरह का किरदार करना चाहता हूँ और यह भी चाहता हूँ की दर्शक मुझे एक खतरनाक विलेन के रूप में पहचाने."

बड़े पर अपने अभिनय के जौहर दिखने वाले डॉ राजेश एक्यूप्रेशर से बहुत सारी बीमारियों का इलाज़ करते हैं, जिनमें बेक पैन, आर्थराइटिस, ओबेसिटी, माग्रैन, थायरायड, हार्ट की समस्या आदि हैं इनके सारे मरीज़ फ़िल्मी दुनिया के ही हैं, और शायद यही वजह है की अपने पेशेंट का इलाज़ करते-करते यह खुद उनकी बीमारी से ग्रसित हो गये यानी फिल्मों के ग्लेमर से आकर्षित होकर खुद भी अभिनय करने लगे. राजेश ने अब तक अजय देवगन, इरफ़ान खान, जिमी शेरगिल, सोहेल खान, मुकेश खन्ना, राज बब्बर, अनुपम खेर आदि अभिनेताओ का एक्यूप्रेशर से ईलाज किया है.

South Actors Taapsee & Siddharth to work together!

Southern siren Taapsee is all set to make her Bollywood Debut in David Dhawan’s much anticipated comic caper ‘Chashme Baddoor’ where she would be seen getting wooed by 3 dashing young lads, Ali Zafar, Siddharth & Divyendu based amidst the sands and beaches of Goa!

Well! Not many are aware that Taapsee and Siddharth who have been friends since a long time as both have worked in the Telugu film industry were going to do a film together! Yes, Taapsee’s debut in the south was supposed to be opposite the jovial actor Siddharth. Unfortunately, due to some reason the film could not be made and she went on to star in Telugu flick ‘JhummandiNaadam’ opposite Manoj Manchu.And as luck would have it, it turns out that Siddharth is a major part of Taapsee’s Bollywood debut!

When asked, a very excited Taapsee said, “Yes my debut film was supposed to be with Siddharth, and because of certain reasons the film did not materialize, and here we are,working together and that also in a Bollywood film! I was thrilled when I came to know Siddharth is also part of the movie. Since we both have had similar journeys its great chatting up with him about Telugu Films and everything that's happening back there”!!

Well, some things are just meant to happen! We’re definitely waiting for this one!

Sona Spa, Being a Drama to a Thriller!

When it comes to sleep deprived these days, we always say we will catch up on sleep over the weekend, but it never happens. If Reiki, Puja or a Piligramage done for somebody helps, then why not make someone sleep on your behalf!

Sona Spa adapted from a play, Writer & Director, Makrand Deshpande explains that the film is inspired by the commercial world where everything is up for sale. It brings the serious issue of lack of sleep due to various reasons that altogether causes unhealthy and tiring life. “If somebody is not feeling fresh and is longing for a nap, then one just needs to call Sona Spa and as per their contract, the sleep workers will sleep on their behalf. So you don’t need to take pills or consume alcohol to go to sleep. The catch is that when a sleep worker is sleeping your sleep, then he or she is also dreaming your dreams. This changes the genre from being a drama to a thriller!”

The film also shows Naseeruddin Shah in a dramatic character of ‘Baba Dayanand’ and Makrand recalls “Working with Naseer was like a celebration and not work pressure. He has been watching my plays for last 15 years and he watched the rehearsals of this play too, though he was not a part of the play, but when I asked him for the movie, he instantly agreed, since he was convinced with the idea”.
