Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla one of India's largest and most diverse lifestyle & entertainment destinations, played host to a lovely afternoon to celebrate Women’s Day on 8th March 2013 at Grillopolis, the famed grill house with it specialised Indian and Medierranean cuisine.
In keeping with the ethos of all of their previous celebrations, this one was a lively mix of fine food, pampering sessions, music and of course retail therapy!!
Co-hosted with Shamita Singha, The Women’s Day Celebration at Phoenix Marketcity kicked off with the lovely ladies arriving at the speciality restaurant Grillopolis where they enjoyed pampering hand therapy and make up tips, courtesy Crabtree & Evelyn and Lancôme respectively.
The afternoon then proceeded with Shamita Singha conducting a fun yet interesting Wine Tasting session in her inimitable, chic style featuring wines from the Four Seasons winery.
As the lovely ladies mingled and indulged in a luxurious hand therapy and caught up over a glass of fine wine, the chefs at Grillopolis presented an array from their special Seekh & Kebab Carnival Menu comprising of Mushroom Galouti, Narangi Harissa Lamb, Blue Curacao Prawns, Lotus and Prune Kebabs etc followed by a lavish luncheon featuring signature dishes - Three Cheese Risotto, Gnocchi with Mix Cheese Sauce, Chicken Bolster with Red Pepper and Tomato Salsa, Fish Caper Butter and the likes.
Playing gracious hosts on behalf of the Phoenix Marketcity were Mr Rajendra Kalkar, Sr. Centre Director with Mr. Amit Kumar, Centre Director and Gurpratap Sohi & Shivani Sharan who interacted with guests and ensured that all were well looked after.
The ladies enjoyed the eclectic ambience of Grillopolis, revelling under the open to sky foyer under the olive tree and partaking in the free floating hors d'ouvres. Most leaned over to ring the giant bell in the bellfry to anounce their arrival.
The pretty ladies who gracefully made their presence at the event were Amrita Arora, Nisha Jamwal, Zeba Kohli, Candice Pinto, Amy Billimoria, Deepti Gujral, Anushka Manchanda, Shweta Salve, Shonali Nagrani, Misti Mukherjee, Monica Bedi, Anjali Pandey, Madhuri Pandey, Vivek Mishra, Perizaad Kolha, Anuja, Achla Sachdev, Sucheta Sharma & other gorgeous faces who had the most memorable brunch.
