Mukta Arts 'SAMHITA' wins National Awards

Mukta Arts' latest Marathi film ‘Samhita’, directed by the award winning duo of Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar has bagged not one but TWO NATIONAL AWARDS this year to Shailendra Barve for Best Music Direction and to Aarti Tikekar for Best Female Play Back Singer.
"SAMHITA" also received standing ovation when it was screened recently at MAMI film festival in Mumbai and IFFK in Cochin.
The film is about an ailing producer who wants his wife to produce a film on his favorite story.
'Samhita' has been produced by Mukta Arts in association with Ashokk Movies. The film stars Milind Soman, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Uttara Baokar.
The film will release across Maharashtra and India in the second quarter of 2013.

Amit Kapoor’s first Production venture ‘One By Two’ with co-producer Abhay Deol goes on floors!

 Word is out that Amit Kapoor has started his first production venture from Cynozure Networkz titled, 'One By Two' being co-produced by Abhay Deol, which also stars Abhay & Preeti Desai. Essentially a Romantic Comedy ‘One By Two’, directed byDevika Bhagat, will be the first among other projects which are being produced by Mr. Amit Kapoor (Son of well-known producers & distributors Lalit and Shabnam Kapoor).

As per schedule, the film’s team commenced shooting in the first week of March. On the auspicious day of the first shoot a pooja was conducted to begin things on a good note.

Veteran actor Dharmendra, who is known to be close to his nephew Abhay, graced the occasion to show his support and give his blessings.

Dressed in casuals, the lead actors of the film, Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai were extremely happy to kick-start this new project with Amit Kapoor, who was also present along with his partners from Cynozure - Shaju Ignatius and Vikram Khakhar, and with Abhay Deol’s partner at i.e. Films -Sanjay Baba Kapoor.
