"I have already suffered for 20 years and been in jail for 18 months. If they want me to suffer more I have to be strong. I am heart broken because today along with me, my 3 children and my wife and my family will undergo the punishment. I have always respected the judicial system and will continue to do so, even with tears in my eyes. I am going to complete all my films and won't let anyone down. I am overwhelmed by the support of my fans the industry people, the media and all the well wishers. They have always stood by me and supported me. I know in my heart that i have always been a good human being, respected the system and always been loyal to my country. My family is very emotional right now and I have to be strong for them. I am shattered and in emotional distress. I am sorry I can't come down and meet you all. God is great and he will guide me through this."

CID Mahabharat​a Special Episode

In tonight’s episode Kalabhawan is an urban theater group comprising of theater actors who do Mahabharata plays in small towns and keep moving like a gypsy group. But there is a layer of crime to them which even though related to them. In every small town that they perform, a wealthy family is killed in their sleep and their houses are robbed. CID gets an inkling of the criminal when a bride Shalini is killed on her wedding day. Daya, Abhijit and Tarika infiltrate the theater group as artists and investigate from within. Is the killer from theatre group or someone else is the master mind? In the avatar of Mahabharat characters will CID solve the murder mystery?

Neil Nitin Mukesh gives the Mahurat clap for his film ‘DUSSEHRA’ directed by Manish Vatsalya

 Rash Production Pvt. Ltd.’s DUSSEHRA, starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Tena Desae commenced their shooting schedule in the 2nd week of March at Film City, Goregaon with lead actor Neil Nitin Mukesh giving the Mahurat clap for the opening scene. Produced by Aparna Hoshing of RASHProductions and directed by Manish Vatsalya the opening scene featured Govind Namdeo, Manish with host of other artists of the film. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tena Desae, Producer Aparna Hoshing, item girl Scarlet Wilson were present for the Mahurat shot of DUSSEHRA, at the grand set designed in Mumbai. An item song was shot with Scarlett Wilson of the Imported Kamaria fame from Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai along with a host of other dancers.
Director Manish Vatsalya comments at the commencement of the filming for Dussehra, “This is my second film as a director. I am very proud of this and I’m sure the outcome of the film will be well appreciated by the audiences. Inspite of their busy schedules, the cast were able to make it to support Aparna and me as we commence the filming. I’m confident that this film will have a great outcome.”
Producer Aparna Hoshing of Rash Productions was calm and proud as she part took in the mahurat pooja along with Director Manish Vatsalya. “This is my third film, second with Manish. I am confident in his abilities as a director and I’m sure everything will go without glitches,” comments Producer Aparna Hoshing.
Neil Nitin Mukesh who gave the mahurat clap for the film says, “I’m honored that Aparna and Manish asked me to give the mahurat clap and I’m thrilled that the filming has started. It’s going to be a film that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seats.”
The film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tena Desae, Ravi Kishan, Pooja Welling, Govind Naamdev, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Shubhangi Gokhale, Pankaj Jha, Sharat Saxena etc. Director Manish Vatsalya also plays an important role in the film.
DUSSEHRA is a political thriller based on a true story of crime and politics. The film evolves from the backdrop of a politically destabilized state, places which symbolizes politician mafia network, a place of heinous crimes, cunning politicians, reckless criminals, the film “DUSSEHRA“ is dedicated to bureaucrats of India. Dussehra is a story of a genuine cop who gets stuck in adverse circumstances. In this saga Dussehra symbolizes the victory of righteousness over evil.
‘DUSSEHRA’ is directed by Manish Vatsalya, and produced by Aparna Hoshing under the banner of RASH Productions Pvt Ltd. Varadraj Swami, Director Manish Vatsalya and Saurabh Choudhary have come together and penned the story, Screenplay and Dialogues for the film. Cinematographer isSethu Sriram who has previous work includes Tere Naam, Wanted and OMG. Editor is Nipun Ashok Gupta, whose previous work includes Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, Charitra 1 & 2. Choreographer is Vishnu Deva whose previous work includes Bodyguard, Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg 2. Action Director isStunt Silva, a very renowned South Indian Action Director. Background score by Amar Mohile, Sound Design by Kunal Mehta and Parikshit Lavani, Art Director is Martand Mishra, Music Director is Vijay Verma (previously worked on Chakrayuh) & Siddhant Madhav. Renowned singers have lent their melodious voice to the soundtracks of this film. They are Ustad Rashid Khan, Mika Singh, Kailash Kher, Rekha Bharadwaj, Shreya Ghoshal, Mamta Sharma, Madhu Shree and Sunil Chailla Bihari.

Aishwarya at the L'oreal Femina Woman of Worth Awards


Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the L'oreal Femina Woman of Worth Awards held in Mumbai on the 19th of March 2013. She was there to award the Readers Choice Award in the category of Social Impact. The winner of this segment Chetna Gala Sinha was awarded this honour by the hands of Aishwarya.

Speaking at the occasion, Aishwarya said, "L'Oréal Paris, with its tag line – ‘Because You’re Worth It’ has always encouraged women to empower themselves, feel beautiful from within and lead an extraordinary life. Today I will be presenting the award for Social Impact which talks about women who have done phenomenal work to create solutions that have impacted the lives of so many people and I very strongly relate to the causes that these women are working towards".

She further added," The woman who has been nominated in this category represents the changing face of modern India and the great success that lies ahead for our country".

Commando – a one man army


Synopsis
Captain Karanvir Dogra, a commando with 9 Para Commandoes of the Indian Army
crashes into the Chinese side. Karan is not able to convince the Chinese of his
bonafides as they don’t find any wreckage. They feel they can brand him a spy and
use this excuse to embarrass the Indian Government. The Indian Government feels
that under these circumstances, the Chinese will not accept any proof of Karan having
crashed during a routine training so they erase Karan’s army record and simply deny
his existence.
Karan escapes from the Chinese side before he can be sentenced and crosses into
Himachal Pradesh at the Lepcha border and travels through Kinnaur to reach his base
at Pathankot. As Karan crosses the Himachal – Punjab border, he runs into a girl,
Simrit who is escaping from Amrit Kanwal Singh’s goons. Amrit Kanwal Singh (a
notorious character) wants to marry Simrit for political gains as marriage will lend
him some respectability. Karanvir warns the goons to let go off her but they don’t
listen and bear the brunt of his pent up anger. Simrit far from being pleased tells
Karan that he has created more trouble for her and now he must escort her till she
feels safe.
Amrit Kanwal waylays them on the Andheria Bridge. Finding himself outnumbered
Karanvir jumps off the bridge with Simrit into a fast flowing river which carries them
into a forest. Karanvir hears Simrit’s story and promises to help her. He decides to
stick to the jungle route and then get out of it once they feel that the heat on Simrit
from Amrit Kanwal Singh and his men has died down. Amrit Kanwal Singh on the
other hand decides to pursue them.
Now begins a cat and mouse game between Amrit Kanwal, his men and Karan in the
forest. Will Karan rise to the occasion and save Simrit and all the people living under
a reign of terror unleashed by Amrit Kanwal and his men or will AK74 as Amrit
Kanwal is known in the area continue to let lose his reign of terror..
