DELHI NOIR, an anthology (collections of short stories) based mainly in and around Delhi-NCR, edited by Hirsh Sawhney was published in 2010, and one of the stories from the book, THE RAILWAY AUNTY (by Mohan Sikka), impressed the producer-director Ajay Bahl so much that he decided to adapt it into a full-fledged feature film titled B.A. PASS. Featuring Shilpa Shukla (of CHAK DE INDIA fame) as the lead actress, B.A. PASS is a dark, erotic thriller with a heart that has won loads of international and national awards, an aspect about which we will inform our patrons later. However, the amazing achievement on part of B.A. PASS is that the HarperCollins India team upon seeing B.A. PASS at the Osian's Cinefan Film Festival, where it won the Best Film and Best Actor awards, decided to change the cover photograph in the upcoming second print of the book, and have used a still from the film B.A. PASS as the new cover of the book. This shows the kind of support and confidence that the publishers have shown in the film, even before seeing a theatrical release. As may be recalled, something similar had happened in case of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE & KAI PO CHE when the publishers of the book changed the cover picture, but that was only after the film was released and became a critical and commercial success as well and also it must be noted that both these films were backed by big studios. That is precisely the reason why the HarperCollins reprint of DELHI NOIR is a monumental achievement for an independent film like B.A. PASS and it's maker Ajay Bahl and we are sure that after creating history B.A. PASS will go on garnering huge critical and commercial acclaims, and will achieve more laurels in future as well. the world’s greatest cricket superstar, is all set to star in a 3D CGI action,
comedy and adventure animation series, Master

This first-of-its-kind international co-production deal featuring the global
cricketing icon was announced by Smita Maroo, VP of Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd.
and Mike Young, CEO of Moonscoop LLC. This is the first time that an Indian
cricketer or sportsperson will be seen in an animated avatar on World
television - yet another first for the record-breaking Sachin Tendulkar.
“Master Blasters” Season
One will comprise 26 episodes of 22 minutes each. In Master Blasters,
cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is appointed by The Programme for International Training of Cricket Heroes
(PITCH), to head a training camp for the finest young cricket talents from
around the world. While coaching and teaching the young hopefuls the
finer points of the game, Sachin also mentors them to be grounded and unspoiled
humanitarians. As ambassadors for the sport, the kids play a series of
international, competitive matches in a futuristic, high-tech, spaceship-like
cricket stadium that can actually fly and land anywhere in the world!
Meanwhile, another cricket camp headed by the envious cricket star Peter
is secretly determined to have his team humiliate Sachin’s protégés – by any
means necessary! High spirited and adventurous, Master Blasters, featuring the central character of Sachin, along
with twelve kids and a dog, is animated with fun filled, 3D comedy action and
best of all, cricket!
