RGV sets dance floor afire at Shabina Khan bday bash...

Choreographer Shabina Khan celebrated her birthday with close friends at Kino 108, Andheri (W). The event was a simple affair but a foot-tapping one nevertheless. Shabina’s entire dance team were the first to arrive, even before her. And they hit the dance floor with a passion.
Ramgopal Varma, Indra Kumar, Anjana Sukhani, Mandar Dalvi, Rajan Verma and Rajiv Ruia  made an early entry and stayed on till the end.
What is interesting is that Shabina’s friends who mattered were all there – there were no fashionable late entrants.
Says Shabina, “my very close people were all there. Ramgopal Varma and team RGV, Indra Kumar and his team of supernani, Rajiv Ruia and Rajan Verma of Zindagi 50:50, my producer Mandar Dalvi of Troublemakerzz, and Anjana Sukhani. We all had a blast.”
Blast indeed. Anjana made her appearance despite injuries, RGV danced with Shabina and team till the wee hours of the morning and even when we made an exit, Sapne me milti hai was on in full blast…
Aisi dosti to sapne me hi milti hai!!!!

'Its a special Father and son story!"

-Superstar Will Smith on the real reason behind taking up AFTER EARTH
In one of the most anticipated movies of this Hollywood summer, M.Night Shyamalan's AFTER EARTH by Sony Pictures sees the superstar Will Smith reunite with his talented son Jaden Smith, in the film releasing on June 7th in India!
A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.
But more than the technical aspects of the film, its the real life situation and emotions that drew Will to the film!
“What I thought was really interesting about this film was that it’s huge in scope, but it comes down to a simple idea that every person in the audience can relate to: it’s a father and son story,” says Will Smith.  “I think that’s what audiences will really connect with – seeing the father try to connect with the son, to teach him, with life-or-death consequences.”
The lesson the father must teach his son is to conquer his fear.  “Every parent knows when his or her child is lying to them because they’re scared of something,” says Will Smith.  “And every parent has a different way of dealing with that.  In After Earth, we have a father trying to command and control his son from a distance, but at the end of the day, once your child goes out of the house, you’ve taught them all you can – they have to learn the rest on their own.  For me, in this movie, the extreme landscape makes these parent-and-child relationships huge, life-threatening.”
Catch the hugely talented father son duo as Sony Pictures AFTER EARTH releases on 7th June 2013.

Sanjay Gupta and John Abraham join forces for an untitled epic revenge saga

After the stupendous success of Shootout at Wadala, director Sanjay Gupta joins forces with Action Abraham yet again for an epic revenge saga which looks to redefine the action space in Bollywood.
On the lines of Hollywood blockbusters like Kill Bill and Django Unchained, the untitled one-man-army film is amongst Bollywood’s most ambitious yet and who better than director Sanjay Gupta to helm the project.

If sources are to be believed, the makers promise to give it a similar status that Sunny Deol’s Ghayal had back in the day –The film will also see John Abraham pushing the envelope in the action space ,with high adrenaline stunts without body doubles in signature Sanjay Gupta style.
Reveals a source, “Sanjay Gupta joins hands with John Abraham for an epic revenge saga which is on the lines of a Bollywood Rambo…..When dabbling with the script the director could think of no one better than John to essay the role of the protagonist since he has the physique to carry off the character and is synonymous with “action”…The film will be made on par international standards with a contemporary linear treatment”
