         After the superb showing of ‘The Croods’, the studio notches up one more                             successful animation film in 2013!

After the tremendous run of their prehistoric fun family film ‘The Croods’, Fox Star Studios have added yet another splendid success to their 2013 kitty as EPIC has garnered the 5^th biggest animation opening for India!!  

Having released first in India, a week ahead of its international counterparts, EPIC has opened to 3.6 Crores Gross Box Office in India (2.52 cr NET ), despite a crowded Box Office with simultaneous releases of high profile Hollywood releases such Amitabh Bachchan's 'The Great Gatsby’ and Mira Nair’s ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ whose figures are far behind those of EPIC.

FOX STAR STUDIOS-PH​ANTOM COME TOGETHER FOR ANURAG KASHYAP'S BOMBAY VELVET

Fox Star Studios is happy to announce its partnership with Phantom Films to produce Anurag Kashyap’s next film, Bombay Velvet. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, will go on floors in July 2013 and is slated for a worldwide release on 25th Dec 2014.  The first film of a trilogy, as planned by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is the story of how the city became a Metropolis, set against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and Jazz. 

Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, come together to share screen space as lovers whose lives intermingle with the evolution of the city of Bombay, through the 50s to early 70s. 

An excited Anurag Kashyap says, “Bombay Velvet is my first film in a trilogy about Bombay, before it became a Metropolis. It’s a story that has always fascinated me and we have been developing it for about four years, and I am very excited that now its fully ready and we begin shoot this year.” 

Adds Vikas Bahl of Phantom Films,  " Bombay Velvet is intricately researched and beautifully fictionalized by Anurag as to how one of the greatest cities of the world was created amidst loads of action, romance, pain and huge drama. Amit Trivedi has already started work to compose the music of the film, which will be reminiscent of the golden sound of 60’s.

Jewelry design, a fashion show by Le'mark institute put up a magnanimous fashion show like no other with models like  Aanchal Kumar, Sucheta Sharma,  Ushoshi Sengupta & others with the walk orchestrated by the ace fashion choreographer Shakir Shaikh.

Also present at the fashion show simply for the love of fashion were Meher Castelino, Varuna D Jaani, Asif Merchant, Rahul Mehta, & Sneha Wagh who were praises for the students to have put up such a marvellous show.

Cricket organized by singers Kailash Kher, Ravi Tripathi and music fraternity.

Famous singer Kailash Kher had organized a cricket match at P A Mhatre sports academy, next to Ritumbhara college, Juhu, Mumbai, where in several musicians and singers along with actors participated. It was attended by Actor Suneel Shetty, Singers Kailash Kher, Javed Ali and Ravi Tripathi. And many musicians.

In last match singer Shaan and Babul Suprio also participated with other celebrities. It was a good attempt to spread peace and harmony and a fun filling get together. Normally celebrities meet each other only in shows, airports or in award functions so by organizing such things they can know each other well and have a fun time together. “We might take it to Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) next year” said Kailash kher and Ravi Tripathi.

कैलाश खेर और रवि त्रिपाठी का क्रिकेट आयोजन 

प्रसिद्ध गायक कैलाश खेर ने रितुम्भरा कॉलेज, जुहू, मुंबई, के पास के पी ए म्हात्रे खेल अकैडमी, में एक क्रिकेट मैच का आयोजन किया था, जहाँ कई गायकों व संगीतकारों ने भाग लिया। इस आयोजन में अभिनेता सुनील शेट्टी, गायक कैलाश खेर, जावेद अली और रवि त्रिपाठी ने भाग लिया।

आखिरी मैच में गायक शान और बाबुल सुप्रियो भी अन्य हस्तियों के साथ शामिल हुए। यह आयोजन एक तरह का शांति और सदभावना के प्रसार के साथ एक शाम सब के साथ मिलकर गुजरने का अच्छा प्रयास था। आम तौर पर मशहूर हस्तियाँ केवल किसी शो में, हवाई अड्डों में या पुरस्कार समारोह में एक दूसरे से मिलते हैं, इस तरह के आयोजन से सब एक साथ मिलकर एक दुसरे के सुख दुःख बाँट सकते हैं, अपने व्यस्त जीवन में चंद ख़ुशी के लम्हे ला सकते हैं। "हम अगले साल इसे सेलिब्रिटी क्रिकेट लीग (सीसीएल) में शामिल करने का प्रयास करेंगे" कैलाश खेर और रवि त्रिपाठी ने कहा।
