Karishma Tanna Banned from wearing heels for Ashok Thakeria's Grand Masti!!!

 Karishma Tanna, an Indian Television turned Bollywood actress has come a long way, with those striking good looks, an alluring smile the leggy beauty has done several television commercials, soap operas before making her foray into Bollywood!! 

The gorgeous actress will now be seen in Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar’s “Grand Masti”, which is a sequel to the hit film of 2004 “Masti”, where she will be paired opposite Vivek Oberoi!!! 

Karishma has won several hearts of the Indian audiences with her charming persona and with her model-like figure the 5'8inches tall lass has been giving all her modelling contemporaries a run for their money! 

Surely, one of the tallest actresses that we have in B-Town today Karishma happens to be almost as tall as her "Grand Masti" co-star Vivek Oberoi. 

The actress however had to leave her modeling days behind as she was soon banned from wearing heels thanks to her co-star Vivek!....Vivek who is barely two inches taller than her (5'10inches) would look shorter than Karishma if she wore any heels while shooting their sequences together, hence Director Indra Kumar and the styling team ensured she wore flats throughout her scenes with him! Initially, she was upset as she loves to wear heels and cannot imagine moving about without them but, later on sportingly let go off it. 

When asked about this hilarious turn of events, a source quips, " Yes we had to ban Karishma from wearing heels as she ended up looking taller than everyone, including her own co-star Vivek! Induji and Ashok Thakeriaji convinced her to get styled with flat shoes instead and she very sportingly agreed, with a smile!" 

Maruti International's "Grand Masti" is produced by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar with direction by Indra Kumar!

भोजपुरी फिल्म इंडसट्रीज़ में तीन फिल्मो से आगाज करने वाली अर्चना सिंह ने अपने आगमन के साथ ही फिल्म जगत में सनसनी फैला दी है और आज उनकी गिनती भोजपुरी की व्यस्तम अभिनेत्री में होने लगी है . बिहार की भभुआ की रहने वाली अर्चना का ग्लेमर वर्ल्ड में कदम रखना इत्तेफाक ही था . भोजपुरी के पहले मनोरंजन चैनल महुआ के हिट सीरियल स से सरस्वती में निगेटिव किरदार से अभिनय के क्षेत्र में कदम रखने वाली अर्चना की एक माह में  ३ फिल्मे रिलीज़ हुई . उनकी पहली फिल्म थी निर्देशक ब्रज भूषण की फूहड़ सनीमा . भोजपुरी की अब तक की इस बोल्ड फिल्म में उनका किरदार एक आम घरेलु लड़की का था , जो एक साफ़ सुथरी फिल्म बनाने वाले निर्देशक की प्रेमिका का था . फिल्म में उनके अपोजिट थे बहुमुखी अभिनेता अजय दिक्षित . फिल्म में अर्चना के सहज अभिनय ने सबका ध्यान उनकी ओर खिंचा . फूहड़ सनीमा के साथ ही रिलीज़ हुई अर्चना की दूसरी फिल्म बड़का छोटका . निर्देशक पायल कश्यप व रमेश झा की इस फिल्म में भी अर्चना के अभिनय को सराहा गया . इनदोनो के बाद अगले ही सप्ताह रिलीज़ हुई लक्ष्मण रेखा . इस फिल्म में उनके साथ थे विनय आनंद और गुंजन पन्त . लक्ष्मण रेखा इन दिनों मुंबई में धूम मचा रही है .  हाल ही में बिहार से भोजपुरी फिल्म जान तू जहान तू की शूटिंग कर लौटी अर्चना धारावाहिकों में व्यस्त है और इसी माह एक बड़ी फिल्म की शूटिंग करने वाली है . 

Shobha De voices her support towards Vidya Balan 's Cannes appearances

Acclaimed author and columnist Shobha De known for her "tell-it-as-it-is" comments ,recently went on to praise Bollywood's most celebrated actress Vidya Balan on a popular micro-blogging site ,as the National award winner represented the country on its centenary, as part of the prestigious 9-member jury at the 16th Cannes Film Festival.  

Vidya Balan who traveled to the French Riviera as part of the esteemed jury panel ,had the international press clicking away as she sported some traditional Indian wear with a hint of vintage couture.The actress dazzled everyone by making appearances in signature Sabyasachi  outfits,leaving absolutely nobody in doubt of her nationality,receiving a huge thumps up for her sartorial choices.

On home turf Shobha De too went on to voice her support as she tweeted , "Vidya Balan does India proud on the red carpet at Cannes....Bravo Sabya" raising several eyebrows especially since De,known to be brutally honest, is highly critical and choosy of her comments - Says a source, "Shobha De is one of the most renowned female voices when it comes to representing Indian women - Her supporting Vidya and her traditional choice of outfits on the red carpet is proof of how women across the country look upto Balan as an inspiration and the kind of support she's receiving from Indian opinion makers"

Tusshar Kapoor to launch his own production house

Having created a niche space for himself as an actor in Bollywood, Tusshar Kapoor now ventures into film production and will shortly announce the name of his production house along with the news of his first film.Talking about his ambitions with the production house Tusshar says, “My production house will surely carve its own niche in the industry. It won’t be just another addition to the list of production houses which already exist. I won’t produce anything that is mediocre”. Adding that, “I will never make abstract, art house cinema. My films will be offbeat, but will also appeal to a mass audience. A good film eventually becomes commercially viable and that’s what I am aiming for as a producer”While details are tightly being kept under wraps ,sources reveal that the actor is in talks and is already in the process of short listing a script –

22May’13, Mumbai: Raageshwari Loomba the well known singer and actress on her tour to promote her upcoming audio CD of affirmation, recently visited HH Dalai Lama's foundation to meet His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet where she presented him a copy of this CD. Dalai Lama remarked “Kind words can change the world. Loving words can change the world. Only kindness and love has that power”.
