Worldwide Records presents BETIYAAN – Save the Girl Child. Betiyaan is a song campaign to spread awareness to Save The Girl Child. Much required need of the hour, BETIYAAN is Conceived & Directed by RAAJEEV WALIA, and the Music is by NIKHIL KAMATH, Produced by Ratnakar Kumar, MD- Worldwide Records & Suraj Kumar of Johnsons-Suraj Films International.

Betiyaan starts with an introductory poem by Shri Kapil Sibal followed by the song in an emotional rendition by Singers Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Bandana Sharma. Lyrics by Manish Kumar Pran and Additional Line Betiyaan is by - Vimal Kashyap.

Sudha Chandran’s come back with "Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai"

Sudha Chandran popular as Nache Mayuri comes back in Bollywood after 7 years in Hari Kripa Films “Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai”, her last film was ‘Malaamal Weekly’ with Rajpal Yadav, coincidently she shares her screen space again with Rajpal Yadav in this film. 

Major chunk of this film is being shot at Almeda Bunglow, Yari Road, Andheri (west), on a lavish set of Brothel where Rajpal Yadav, Bharti Sharma, Sudha Chandran and Rakesh Bedi along with many junior artist are participating. Rajpal Yadav is playing role of a unemployed youth, Sudha Chandran is in role of Madame of brothel, Bharti Sharma is playing central character of a girl from Bedni community of Bundelkhand, Yashpal Sharma is in character of minister, Mushtaq Khan as PA of minister, Sandeep Bose in role of chief Eunuch and Milind Gunaji is in role of zamindar.  According to director Arvind Tripathi story of this film narrates the painful situation of women’s of Bedni community, how they are being exploited by powerful politician and businessman of society.

Synopsis:

As the metropolis of New Delhi expands into the neighboring villages, the seemingly worthless patches of land hold the promise of millions for the penniless landowners. The owners sniff huge monitory compensations.

At the center of the story are 3 Gujjar families of Bhasoya, Awaana & Bhati from a Village. Then there is a shrewd character, Bechu Bhai - a catalyst to the events to come- who makes the villagers aware about the government compensation. Bechu Bhai is a guy found in every mohhalla, every street and every village or city. Simpletons at heart, the 3 Gujjar families receive huge amount of monies when suddenly their lands acquire ‘priceless’ status due to this expansion.  Their absolutely hilarious way of spending money gives an insight about their characters.

On this premise, Muaavazaa is rib tickling, super sarcastic, unique story of razor sharp wit focusing on the lives of Nuevo Rich of New Delhi & NCR. Susi Ganesh honoured by Maryland Governor

Susi Ganesh, the director of Shortcut Romeo was honoured by Martin O’Malley, Governor of State of Maryland with a citation for his contribution to Indian cinema. Susi Ganesh and his team were in New York to promote Shortcut Romeo after screening the movie and walking the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival along with actress Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta.

Susi Ganeshan has directed some award winning movies in Tamil such as Virumbukiren, Five Star, Thiruttu Payale and Kanthaswamy. Recalling his 15 years of service and hard work to promote Indian movies especially Tamil and now Hindi, the Governor said, “The State of Maryland is proud to bestow the honour for his contribution to the entertainment industry.”
The award and the replica of great seal of the State of Maryland was presented by Dr. Rajan Natarajan, Deputy Secretary of State of Maryland and one of the high-ranking Indian-American political appointees.
Shortcut Romeo is a remake of Susi Ganesh's super hit Tamil film 'Thiruttu Payale', produced by Manjari Susi Ganesh. It also features Neil Nitin Mukesh. The film will release on 21st June, 2013.
