दीपिका ने मनाया हैट्रिक का जश्न

 

दीपिका पादुकोण की बहुप्रतीक्षित फिल्म ये जवानी है दीवानी रिलीज़ हो गयी और फिल्म ने पहले ही तीन दिन में अच्छी खासी कमाई कर ली है। फिल्म तो लोगों को पसंद आ ही रही है साथ ही दीपिका के अभिनय की भी चर्चा हर जगह बनी हुई। उन्हें भर भर के बधाई वाले कॉल और मेसेज आ रहे हैं। फिल्म में उनकी परफोर्मेंस को काफी सराहना मिल रही है।

दीपिका ने आखिरकार हैट्रिक मार ही लिया। रेस 2 और कॉकटेल के बाद अब ये जवानी है दीवानी की सफलता का भी रस उन्हें चखने मिला है। बॉलीवुड में इस साल 2 फिल्मों को बहुत बड़ी ओपनिंग मिली है बॉक्स ऑफिस पर जिसमें से पहली फिल्म रेस 2 है तो दूसरी ये जवानी है दीवानी। दिलचस्प बात ये है कि दोनों ही फिल्मों में दीपिका हैं। यही नहीं, ये जवानी है दीवानी 3 दिनों में सबसे अधिक कमाई करने वाली पहली फिल्म बन गयी है। उनके पास खुश होने और पार्टी मनाने की कई वजह हैं इस बार। 

दीपिका ने अपने प्रभादेवी घर में एक बड़ी पार्टी राखी थी। वहां आये सभी मेहमानों ने उन्हें फिल्म की सफलता और उनके परफोर्मेंस को लेकर ढेर साड़ी शुभकामनाये और बधाईयाँ दी। 

ये जवानी है दीवानी में दीपिका ने अभी तक का अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ परफोर्मेंस दिया है। बतौर अभिनेत्री वो अपना एक अलग मुकाम बना चुकी हैं और साथ ही उन्होंने काफी ऊँचा स्तर पा लिया है। इससे पहले उन्होंने ऐसा किरदार कभी नहीं निभाया है। कॉकटेल में बहतरीन परफोर्मेंस देने के बाद सभी की उम्मीदें उनसे कई गुना बढ़ गयी थी। फिल्म में नैना का किरदार उनके लिए कठिन चैलेन्ज था लेकिन दीपिका ने खुद को अपने प्रतिभा के दम पर बहुत ही खूबसूरती के साथ साबित किया है। 

Rakul Preet to debut in Bollywood with Yaariyaan

 

The glamorous industry of Bollywood owes a lot to the Miss India pageant; a talent house which has produced some of the biggest film stars. The names include Nutan, Zeenat Aman, Juhi Chawla, Meenakshi Seshadri, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. 

And now another Miss India participant Rakul Preet is all set to enter the glittering world with Yaariyaan; the directorial debut of T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Kumar. 

“Yaariyaan is about five college friends and I play a nerd in the film. One who is very good with numbers,” quips the leading lady. The character is quite of her liking, as the tall and lissome Rakul is a mathematics graduate, who has studied financial management. 

Moreover, like many previous beauty pageant winners, she comes from a family background of the Indian Army. Rakul won various titles in the Miss India pageant of 2011. She bagged Miss India People’s Choice, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Fresh Face, Miss Talented and emerged the third runner-up finalist. 

Soon after, she participated in Miss Tourism in China and rose to the sixth position in the international pageant. But that’s not all to her Libran multi-faceted personality! Apart from Hindi, English and Punjabi, the gal has now learnt to speak Tamil and Telugu and also acted in Southern hits. 

Her die-hard interests include horse riding, Bharatanatyam, and hold your breath; golf too. Now, now! How many Bollywood actresses would have engaged in playing golf! But if you think, that’s enough for Rakul, you are mistaken! 

The girl is a fitness freak with gymming and swimming being her daily addictions. She’s a Blue Belt in Karate, plays cricket, basket ball and even lawn tennis! And wait, did we tell you, she’s particularly proud of her 36-24-36 figure! Ooh la la!

Asin’s fan learns Tamil to watch her films

Asin who is no stranger to the 100 crore club is also used to being admired by fans across the country,however,the actress was extremely touched with a recent gesture by an avid fan of hers - The fan who only speaks Hindi ,went out of his way to especially learn Tamil, so that he can watch more of Asin in her films down south. A source close to the actress says, “Recently Asin received a fan mail from a Delhi boy who wrote to her as one of her biggest fans and also went on to reveal how he is making the effort to learn Tamil to watch films likeM. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Pokkiri and Dasavathaaram .. he was completely bowled over by her performance and gave her feedback on the films.” Adding that, "Asin was extremely touched by the gesture...She didn't expect something like this from a fan...She even wrote back stating that she was humbled and overwhelmed"

Divya Kumar vouches for young talent

Divya Kumar who makes her directorial debut with Yaariyaan,has roped in 5 fresh faces to essay lead characters in her film that revolves around the lives of college students.

Talking about her casting decision says Divya, “In the past several college-based films have cast actors much older than what the role requires.I didn't want to do that just to make the film commercially viable.Audiences today are looking for fresh faces and new talent".

Taking the road less traveled, the director is also keen on having her target audience' opinion much before the film’s release – Divya Kumar is looking to show the film to college students and is even open to implementing their suggestions - " Their opinions matter the most for the film, since it is a movie for the youth."adds the director.

“The music of Raanjhanaa is a story-telling effort”says A.R Rahman

 

Oscar winner A.R Rahman, who has composed the music and background score for Eros International’s Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L.Rai ,got on board the film ,having read the script loved the fact that it was rooted in Indianness. 

Talking about the music of the film says the maestro , “When Aanand narrated the script to me I was drawn to its Indianness..Raanjhanaa has an earthy Beneras feel to it and the music here plays a bigger role.It aims to tell a story” Adding that , “It has classical and folk elements that are character driven.The film has a rustic and urbane side to it which is reflected in the music”. 

Composed by Rahman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, several songs from the film including the title track Raanjhanaa and Tum Tak have already gone on to catch listeners’ attention,but the makers promise there’s much more to come with a track titled “Freedom” also sung by Rabbi. 

“Freedom song is a contemporary track about the character in Urbane delhi  .. I’ve sung it with Rabbi Shergill” adds Rahman.  

With music composed by A.R Rahman, Eros International’s Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L Rai, starring Dhanush , Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol is scheduled to release 21st June 2013.
